Local Goat - New American Restaurant Pigeon Forge

Made a reservation for same day, Valentine's Day... No issues getting seated right away. Server was amazing. Good was better than the reviews read! Thanks for an amazing evening! You'll notice the pics: cheese fondue starter, I had bison meatloaf, she had the black and blue burger, and then we had the white chocolate bread pudding... We took half of her burger and most of the dessert back with us.

It's worth noting, we had no issues with my service dog, thank you for that!

We need to have a serious conversation in this country about what a local amazing casual dining restaurant is and more importantly can be. The Local Goat gets it spot on and needs to be the bar that others strive to reach.

I’ve never had anything not good here and most things are at the top of the category. Don’t expect to just pop in here plan ahead and either make reservations or open the door at lunch. The place is always packed with tourists and locals. The price point is super reasonable based upon the volume of food.

Now to the specifics. Definitely try the deviled eggs they are the best I’ve had. The fried green tomatoes are best in season and I would suggest ordering the toppings on the side. I am hard on fried green tomatoes in general and these are top of the line. The fried fish was nicely seasoned, the coleslaw is good (put some sugar in it if you are used to sweet slaw). The simple Patriot Burger was perfection cooked just the way I ordered it. The fries were good, but a little heavy on the salt.

The lime margaritas was fresher squeezed key lime juice which was an amazing surprise.

Me and my boyfriend went here for my birthday trip. Our waitress, Stephanie, was super nice and attentive and professional! We got the Fried Deviled Eggs as an appetizer and they were good but I maybe would’ve added more siracha personally. He got the Pimento Cheeseburger and devoured it. I got the Maui Chicken and it was pretty tasty. They have signs around the restaurant about how they’re #5 on trip advisor and I looked it up because I was curious and was impressed to see that they’re actually #2! We will definitely come back!

It was amazing 🤩 our server Tiffany was awesome very friendly and very helpful with the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant it's five stars for sure. The service was super fast everything was 🔥 fire !!! We will be back every time we come into town for sure. We loved the deep fried deviled eggs they were great and the Tennessee whiskey burger was awesome hubby had the bison burger he said it was great as well and onion rings are great 😋😋😋

A must eat while in the area! The food is great as well as the service. Food is sourced locally and made from scratch in their kitchen daily. Portions are huge! Saw a plate of nachos that towered, and their shrimp and crab bisque soup is delicious. Pics are of fried deviled eggs, mild and bbq wings, bison meatloaf, and the hot honey chicken sandwich. I recommend getting there early. We arrived just prior to noon and were able to sit immediately. By the time we were done with the appetizer and our entrees came out, the tables around us were full. As we left, the crowd was waiting outside, and I heard someone say 45 min wait. We bought some merchandise and tested some of the goat milk lotions. Kudos to them for helping a small veteran owned business (look them up also and read their backstory)

First time in the Goat. Pleasant atmosphere. Food comes out pretty quickly. Great menu. Noticed many people jumping at that bread pudding, which did look good! Just had too much to eat to get dessert. The Black and Bleu burger was mighty decent. The deep-fried deviled eggs were something I had to try and was pleasantly appeased.

Casual dining, amazing food. It is the best place we ate at all week! Bison meatloaf and baby back ribs were delicious. Fried green tomatoes very good. Good variety on menu. Great cocktails too. All staff was knowledgeable and pleasant.

We give the Local Goat 🐐 12 out of 10 stars! We had a great experience, Olga was our waitress and she was lovely. She explained their menu and how they make their sauces in house. We started off with the deep fried deviled eggs, we absolutely loved them. My husband ordered the fish and chips, my son ordered honey Sriracha chicken sandwich and I ordered the Tennessee whiskey burger. My son and I decided to half each sandwich and try both... best idea of the day! All the food was delicious, we were impressed with the quality and taste of everything. I would honestly say making reservations is an absolute must here but nevertheless would be worth the wait. Also make sure to plan ahead for reservations because they fill up quickly for the day. We will without a doubt visit the Local Goat again! Thank you Olga and the rest of the staff 😊

Delicious food for the whole family, in big enough portions. Every ingredient in each meal seemed thought through carefully, because it was all really flavorful. It cost about $75 for our family of 5, and we all walked away really satisfied, so it was worth it.

The broccoli was a little lackluster compared to everything else, and one of us got overly greasy fries, but everything else was great. A cozy atmosphere, clean place (including the bathrooms), and even with a long wait we were glad we went here.

Our #1 favorite place to eat when visiting! Service and food are always outstanding! In love with the salads we get them every time. My favorite is the grilled chicken autumn and my husband's is the steak. Don't forget dessert! The peanut butter pie is divine!

Amazing burgers and amazing service! Be prepared to look for parking and wait to be seated! We were able to find a seat at the bar until our table was ready and had a few beers. The bartender was super friendly. Had a conversation with one of the kitchen staff and followed their recommendations. It's worth the drive, worth the wait.

The food was good with large portions. The service was excellent. I had the chicken tenders perfectly breaded. The deep-fried de illed eggs were awesome. My party said their burgers were good as well. The parking lot, including the handicap parking is on a steep incline. Those with a wheelchair might find the incline challenging.

Well, I can certainly see why it’s rated the number one place to eat in Pigeon Forge. That was the best hamburger I’ve ever had. The slaw was also super! Fries were great too just not enough room left to eat more of them. They also had tons of different Wiskey’s and I had a glass of Sheep Dog Peanut Butter with Kahlua Mudslide. So so good! Listen, this is a must not miss place to eat. Make time to eat here. Be willing to wait because it’s worth it. If you get Lacey as your server, consider yourself blessed. She was great.

Visited there on 9/25/23 and was absolutely blown away. They were very busy, but we were seated quickly after a 15-minute wait. The Ribeye was very flavorful and tender. The Ribs were delicious. The Fettuccine dish was also delicious, and the burgers were excellent. I had the Stuffed Peppers for an appetizer; they were roasted and delicious. Definitely will be back.

Excellent dining experience. The Lamb burger and Bison meatloaf were amazing! The Taziki sauce for the lamb burger was great. The sides are phenomenal, too. We had the BBQ chicken nachos. Superb! This is a local restaurant and locally sourced. I admire that. The service was great, too. They made a slight mistake on the lamb burger but fixed it immediately. They were also very apologetic. The mistake was very minor, but it was refreshing to see how much they cared about satisfaction.

We took our 10 (picky eater) and 6 year old. Both loved it! We all enjoyed the cheese fondue appetizer, and the waiter even brought more bread and apples out when he saw we were low. The fries were everyone's favorite side. Husband enjoyed the ribs, and the half rack was plenty. I had the sirloin, baked potato, and cheese grits. All phenomenal! Their drinks were also delicious. Get reservations a couple of weeks out!

We had dinner at the Local Goat on Tuesday and the food was great. The burgers were juicy and the wings were jumbo sized.

The service was also great. Robert was our server and he was extremely helpful and set a good pace for dinner. Please give him high praises from us!

Awesome place, amazing food, fast and l friendly service. We had the fried green tomatoes, lamb burger, autumn harvest salad, and white chocolate bread pudding. The 4 on atmosphere was for the air conditioning being freezing and it's pretty basic restaurant interior.

This place is absolutely AMAZING! Every part of the meal exceeded expectations and the service was outstanding. The food was quite possibly the best we've ever had, and our waiter incredibly attentive and making sure every need was met during our meal. Out of all the places to have a nice dining experience in Pigeon Forge - this one is it! Will be back for sure.

My main dish was the shrimp & grits- 😮‍💨🥵🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 with the peanut butter pie for desert. Listen…. I had to roll myself home. & I’d do it again…
Kids all ordered burgers- HUGE burgers that were filled with deliciousness. Then for desert they had cheese cake & were not disappointed.
The waitress was personable & funny. We loved her!
Only bad thing & it’s really not their fault bc they weren’t aware- but there was puke on the wall behind the toilet in the ladies room. As soon as I told my waitress she promptly had it taken care of & apologized. The rest of the establishment was in very clean condition.
