Timbers Log Cabin Restaurant

We were looking for a small place off the main drag to eat. We found Timbers. So glad we stopped here. It was my birthday and i loved the atmosphere. They had music playing in the kitchen where we heard the cook just belting out songs. He was awesome!!! The menu was on the wall. You ordered and paid at the counter. Serve yourself coffee if thats what you ordered. Its just a little cabin with seating inside and out under the porch and trees. The staff were friendly and inviting. I would advise anyone looking for a small place for food to visit here. Thank you so much for the WONDERFUL SERVICE!

This place is so cozy and so welcoming! They have little papers for the kids to draw and later be put on the wall. The food was incredible!!! I’m not sure what they use but it was delicious! Can’t say I’ve ever had food taste that great at a breakfast place! We also have such a wonderful lady greet us and serve us! She was so sweet.. my little girls loved her! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this tiny, little gem. It felt very cozy and "family oriented" if you have a large group, not the place for you, only due to size. I'm pretty sure they limit the table sizes. The food was good and I loved hearing the staff singing.

Everything tasted amazing and it had a great authentic atmosphere. Best burger and chili I have had in forever.

Excellent choice for breakfast! The eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. And the grits were the BEST I’ve EVER eaten! The hospitality was welcoming, including the old country music that played! We definitely will choose this place again on our next trip!

I wish I could express more how amazing this place is. I had to write this review before I finished my food... it's that amazing. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming; the wait was not long at all. All the food is homemade and made with so much love... it felt like home. Definitely the BEST place I've ever been too!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Must try: creme brulee French toast 💕

Protect this place at all costs! Great breakfast, cheesy grits were phenomenal. All enjoyed with classic country music playing in the background. Staff were so kind and helpful. Will be back….before we even leave this trip. 😂

This was like having breakfast at your grandma’s house. Cozy, quaint and they make you feel at home. The owners sing along to the radio as they prepare your breakfast but it’s not an annoying singalong as they can carry a tune quite well. Delicious breakfast with large portions. We’d definitely recommend this to place anyone needing a hearty meal to start their day.

My hubby got a cheese hamburger, very fresh and good. I got their signature, shrimp and grits. That were amazing. I can honestly say is the best grits I’ve ever had. Large bowl can be shared!

I can't speak more highly of this wonderful little place. As soon as you walk in, the smell of the food makes your mouth water and the people greet you like your family stopping in for visit. We stopped for breakfast and had biscuits and gravy with eggs and the best bacon I have ever had in my life! As we're checking out the menu, "Livin on Love" started playing, and we couldn't help but sing along with the cook (and the radio)

This place is a treasure!

Food was fantastic! No frills just great food and atmosphere. The singing cook was such a pleasant surprise! On vacation and went back everyday! What a treasure!

What an awesome breakfast!! Everything was just delicious. Small mom and pop cabin with around 5 tables indoors (some outside). Wait for the cook to start singing along while he cooks your meal!

Timbers Log Cabin Restaurant was the perfect southern experience. Staff was friendly, food was great, and the cabin itself was charming. We ordered the Biscuits and gravy and the French toast breakfast, both with the Timber’s bacon. Particularly the bacon, I’m not sure what they do to it (maybe brown sugar?), but it was fantastic. I think before a day of hiking next time we would order something more balanced 😅 but we didn’t have any complaints. The inside of the cabin is FILLED with little drawings from kids who have visited so that was neat to look at while we waited for our food. Definitely will be back when we come to Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains again!

We had thee BEST breakfast since starting our Tennessee vacation 5 days ago! Quaint, charming & oh so clean. The Timber’s Log Toast was so DELICIOUS! My husband was equally impressed with The Morning Scrambler. Definitely will be back. P.S. Best musical entertainment ❤

Love the atmosphere. I had The Doors burger. It has spinach, avocado, bacon, and my choice of cheese and of course dressed if you want it like that.
Ladies have a great fun personality!

Delicious home cooked meals. We ate there twice on our 4 day trip. My husband said he could eat every meal there and he’d recommend the chili. Friendly service and the singing cook makes it such a warm and homey experience. Highly recommend!

Ate at this restaurant in May 2017 when we visited Smoky Mountains. Loved the food. Met an older lady who was probably 80+, who I think was an owner of the restaurant. Very nice and friendly. She had a ribbon-tie made of the US flag colors. How is she doing? I took a picture with her, if it is okay, I can post here.

The food, Service and Atmosphere was Awesome!

Honestly this was the best breakfast I have ever had. The service was great, the food was AMAZING, and the live entertainment (the chef singing to the radio) was fantastic! 5/5 stars all around!
