I love this shop and can't wait to visit again! I have bought two brooms from here. The handmade quality is outstanding! They are conversation points for anyone who sees them. Unusual for a broom, but these are unique and not meant to be hidden. They do their job well and double as decor when not in use.

Beautiful brooms. We bought two very different styles and ordered walking sticks for the family. David is a true artist and carves generations of Smoky Mountains history in to his wood working. David and Tammie were a delight to chat with and learn from. We will cherish these unique finds.

Love, love, love this little broom shop!! They are 3rd generation broom makers. David and Tammy are very sweet. I got to watch them put the finishing touches on my broom. If you want a handmade gift, this is the place, especially for someone moving into a new home. I loved listening to David's stories, they have also been on Barnyard Builders. Even if you don't need a broom, go in and check the little shop out.

David and Tammy are absolutely wonderful. Not only the talent that you witness when entering their shop, but truly warm hearted people who make you feel welcome and part of the family. I went in and not sure what I wanted but exited with a crafted walking stick and small broom made in less than 24 hours! And to add to my shopping experience they packed and shipped it to my home. A person can not ask for better customer service than that. I will be reaching out for their Christmas themed broom in July and look forward to adding this in a collection. Thank you so very much.

A must stop while in the smoky mountains. I am a fan and own more than one broom and have had a friend bring home a couple of her own as well as for a housewarming gift. Nice idea, right? These brooms, regardless of size are true works of art.

Years ago, while visiting Gatlinburg, TN my grandmother purchased a broom from the Ogles. It was truly exquisite and I never forgot the allure it held. Today my daughter and I were driving through the Arts and Crafts community in Gatlinburg and came across the Ogle broom business and I had to have one myself. Still as exquisite as they were years ago. I highly recommend the Ogles products and encourage everyone to stop by and watch them hand make their brooms.

A 3rd generation broom maker. His brooms are beautiful and also functional. Sure they are more than walmart ($40 for a fancy one or less for a more plain one) but these you will want to hang on the wall when not using. He also makes hiking sticks that are nice. Super nice guy.

I stopped today to buy a broom for a gift. Dave Ogle's brooms are more like works of art than brooms. Twisted wood , straight wood, light dark and gnarled wood is used to make these one of a kind useful brooms. Types include kitchen , whisk, little child's brooms, carved ones, cobweb brooms and walking sticks. High quality, and long lasting. My family has brought from his family for generations. <3

He is a real craftsman. You get to go into his workshop that is also the store/gallery. He and his wife are super friendly too. They told us a few funny stories about themselves and their history with making brooms.

The owners did not have the walking cane we were looking for, but they were so nice and took the time to chat with us. Loved their lazy cats out on the porch.
