Satterfield's Old Fashioned Grocery

Had a nice late lunch buffet at Satterfield’s. Just be aware that the entrance is in the middle court away from the outer parking areas. Also check their open hours as on the Sunday they were closing things down after 4 pm.
Enjoyed smoked ribs, meatloaf, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits/gravy, chicken with noodles, collard greens, baked beans and salad bar. Was served freshly made waffles with berries… really good! Had the optional drink and dessert, the loose leaf herbal/fruit teeth hit the spot! Had the option of a brownie, tuxedo cake or vanilla cake with ice cream. Also there were fruit salads and a yummy banana pudding at the cold table.
Service and hospitality was excellent! Super accommodating and would recommend!

Kind of hard to find but worth it when you do. Entrance is Located through the courtyard on the West end of the complex. We had supper there and the manager was terrific. They had a hot bar along with a salad bar. Roasted pork loin with gravy, pot roast and potatoes, pulled pork, meatballs with marinara, smoked sausage, mac-n-cheese, Italian beans with smoked brisket, baked beans, corn, apples brisket chili. Also sliced brisket upon request.
$13/person $15/person with desert. Best deal we have found in the area. Clean, good food and service, good job Satterfield's

Stopped here out of curiosity and the owner was very friendly and personable. Ended up Amazing jams and salsas to choose from. He made us breakfast and it’s the best in town. HUGE burritos. Definitely glad we came back to visit and we will be back to this little grocery store in the future. Highly recommend.

After long road to Gatlinburg from FL and settled in my hotel I was trying found some place where I cane pick up our essentials and this one was just 5 minutes walk from my place. store has many original items, but no alcohol there 😅 I just realized they make they own sandwiches and many different foods so I pick up straight away 2 off them pork and turkeys sandwich…. And man it was really delicious. Big thumbs up for chef

This was a cute little store/restaurant in the arts and crafts loop. We ended up getting various jams and salsas while here. The two ladies that were working were so nice and informative on products. They gave us free samples of some of their brisket and teas. Brisket was so good. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Gatlinburg!

Wow, so many great things about this place I don’t even know where to start! Staff was fabulous, some of the friendliest people we’ve met on our 10 day trip and very helpful. The store was clean and well stocked, the food we sampled was spectacular. The yams are everything you could dream of and we sampled and purchased pickled quail eggs that are some of the best eggs we’ve ever had! One of the employees even assisted us with getting a wayward toy off of the roof and we are so very thankful. If you’re looking for great food, amazing service, friendly conversation and yummy novelty snacks, look no further. I can’t say enough about this place, this was the highlight of our day. We hope to return very soon! 10/10

We ordered a family meal of BBQ and it was great! I was impressed with the brisket, and I'm from TX so that's saying a lot! Sausage had great flavor, and everyone enjoyed the pulled pork. We had a lot of food, and the price seemed low for the quality and quantity. It can be hard to get out of the parking lot, but I'm glad I went!

A great home town grocery. We were looking for a variety of grocery items and they had them all. They also have wonderful home made salsa, flavored breads (banana bread etc) and other fresh canned items.

First off Wow! The beef brisket is amazing, Mac and cheese is delicious and the potato salad is exactly how my grandmother made it! I even have to say I don’t like baked beans but this place’s is amazing. You won’t find quality food of this caliber for the money anywhere on the strip!

Stopped in here just to pick up something quick to eat, not realizing they actually made food. I didn't have time to navigate the strip so this was a welcome surprise.

I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich, which came with a side of baked beans. The pork was a bit tough for my taste but overall pretty good, as were the baked beans. And the sandwich was pretty filling on its own.

I also picked up a cream soda and fround coffee - haven't tried either yet.

Love the variety and options for local products. Definitely helps that is a bit out the way, at from the crowds.

Would visit again!

Wonderful meatloaf dinner with enough food and salad to feed 3 adults easily for $17.99. We were in hotel within walking distance and just couldn't go into a noisy busy restaurant. The nice person there got us all set up with plates and silverware and a sturdy box to carry it. The meatloaf was cooked well and had a delicious barbecue sauce on it. The Mac-n-Cheese was the creamiest ever. The salad had slivers of onions, pepper and we were given plenty of salad dressing on the side at extra no charge. Truly thankful that we walked in the door.

We stopped here after a round of mini golf. This place has everything you might have left behind on your visit. That said the big win to me is the smoked meats. We grabbed the pulled pork dinner and it was quite good. The staff was super friendly as well.

Multiple co-workers were talking about this place a few weeks ago. So I decided try it for myself after leaving my lunch at home. I gave the pulled barbecue pork sandwich and beans a try......pretty good. The sandwich was a little small but quality over quantity. Staff was friendly, will be coming back.

Stopped there twice while staying at the cabins for produce and general supplies to cook dinner with. Both times the guy up front was very kind and had stellar customer service. Everything you see on my plate in my photo was bought from this store for about $22 total. Way cheaper than eating anywhere else in Gatlinburg for 2 people.

Stopped by to pick up groceries but also ended ordering their smoked brisket sandwich! It’s one of the best in town! The meat is so tender and juicy! A must have!

We own a cabin near Satterfield’s. They have excellent meals to go. You can call and order ahead. They smoke their own meats. We got steaks and grilled!

Are you just starting your vacation only to realize that your cabin only supplied you with one roll of toilet paper for the week? Did you also realize that you forgot coffee filters for the coffee maker they supplied since you thought that would be included as well? Well, have no fear, Satterfield's is here to save the day.... and without the extreme price mark up you would have to pay at other convenience stores. Not only do they have the necessities you may have forgotten to enjoy your trip, they also offer a large selection of food such as sandwiches, pizza, and barbecue style family meals to go. We stopped by this store on a couple of occasions on our short trip and I was impressed by the large selection in the store as well as the courteous staff.

Very cute place, very courteous owner. Picked up a sandwich to take with us on a hike, it was amazing! He cut up a tomato from his garden, very generous with the chicken, it was very yummy. Thanks!!

Old fashioned grocery store that was located close to our cabin. Had all the essentials like milk, eggs, bread, and snacks. They also have their own amazing deli which offers sandwich meat and cheese. Our last night we ordered an 8” BLT on hoagie bread and it was huge and delicious! My only regret was I didn’t order lunch/dinner there daily!

Awesome little market. Great brisket sandwich and the cold cut sandwich was good too. Green beans needed salt. We were going to order delivery but because traffic was soooooo bad we got pick up. Luckily we were a 6 min walk away.
