My experience with Blue Dragon has been wonderful and continues to be a great place for me in m life. I was first introduced to Blue Dragon dojo and Sensi Francisco Jorge to help me better my jujitsu in MMA, not only did he help me get better at jujitsu but I have maintained a winning record. I have been a part of the traditional martial art and been learning a lot. It offers great conditioning and push your limits to learn good technique and good forms Blue Dragon has a wonderful family atmosphere and everyone there is friendly and have a wonderful attitudes and helps each other out with support and learning. I recommend Blue Dragon to all my friend and to anyone looking for good classes to learn to really practices self defense or for maintaining good health

Blue Dragon Dojo is very fortunate to have Sifu Francisco Jorge as the instructor. He is a fifth degree black belt from New Jersey with over thirty years of experience, trained in the style of Moo Duk Kwan under Sensei Mark Mayer and Great Grand Master Thomas Phalen, and has formal training in the style of Hung Gar (a southern Chinese style) under Sifu Pedro Cepero from Clifton, NJ. He is an exceptional martial artist and a great addition to the martial arts community in Las Cruces, for those of us who value what it really stands for and what it brings to people. My wife and I have trained at this dojo off and on for almost two years now and we love it! The training atmosphere is encouraging. Attitudes are highly energetic. The instructors are knowledgeable. We learn the most important concepts of martial arts and self defense and the best part is we do it together. Sensi Jorge understands life throws many curve balls at us so never makes us sign a contract. We have learned and enjoyed so much from everything and everyone at Blue Dragon. Blue Dragon Dojo is a place to learn self defense and martial arts in a family friendly environment. The styles they teach are Moo Duk Kwan and Hung Gar (Hung Gar is a southern Chinese style of Kung Fu). They also teach great stretches you can use to loosen yourself up, and exercises to keep you healthy and fit. Each Friday there's what they call Sparring Day where the students take what they have learned and use it on each other in a friendly fight. I have been going to the Blue Dragon Dojo for 5 years and I still love it.

This was my first time ever venturing into anything related to Martial Arts- and I am so glad I found Blue Dragon Dojo from the beginning! Sensei Francisco's teaching style is commendable and down to earth. A plus is the cross training! The students are respectful and all help each other. I am always encouraged and I learn so much every time! Can't say enough good things about this place.

A great academy to learn. He has never made students sign contracts or guarantee a black belt in a certain time frame. Seems like many McDojos are doing this and are making the general public lose sight of the true focus of martial arts.
As soon as you walk in the school you see pictures of students and sometimes you see them after they stopped training. You don't see photos of him or gloating about the tournaments he won. You also see certificates, contact numbers, names of people, photos of him training in his younger years, and photos of sensei 's instructor. People don't realize how important a certificate is for a black belt. it is like a doctors degree. It displays that you're qualified.
Most of all, I have always been impressed with the humble character of Sensei. All the students are respectful and we spar with contact (stand up with shin kicks and knees) but not to the point where we have busted up faces or get hurt. We do throws and ground too. I am always honored that he brings people from other styles to teach us for seminars and we cross train a lot. Many schools don't do that because their sensei is worried about their image and/or losing students. But, how can you grow if you only spar people that know what you do?
The best part is that this isn't a "competition school" so no one is forced to compete. I love the 8 years I trained here and after talking to other martial artists, I am honored to see how great this place is.

blue dragon dojo is great academy of martial arts Judo,jiu jitsu, moo duk kwan and shaolin hung gar king fu.they are great friendly and make u part of their family i went to their classes and enjoy and their classes is decent cost than another martial arts shops. i suggest u go check and try it out for free trial.
