I had recently bought a new Ram 2500 6.7 and have only had it a few months. Dealer seems to over charge as all do. I wanted to find a family owned Diesel mechanic that can service my truck through the duration that I have it. I wanted to be more than just a number I wanted to be known and my vehicle to be worked on by the same tech. I called this shop and spoke with the ladies at the desk about my time sensitive issue. I was having issues with a DEF sensor and was on a count down. I could not afford for my truck to be in the shop for a week or more. They told me to swing in. Eric looked at the report I had ran for the codes and was able to squeeze me in the same day. Had the part delivered from Dodge and within a few hours I was back on the road. Shops are not cheap due to the price of parts now and the warranty for parts and labor. I was not ready to spend the money but I did believe in Eric and what he said. Eric will tell you the truth and if you don’t need a part he will be honest! Yes Eric does this for his living so I understand the frustration some have with price points. But if you want a face to face with a shop owner and the job done right with a 2 year warranty for labor he is your guy. I appreciate him and his team for being honest and hospitality that rainy day. I presently have my truck being repaired with new brake lines, the owners were kind and courteous and understanding. I mentioned the truck is sentimental to me, for it belonged to my brother who served in the armed forces; no more said on that subject. Had my 02 7.3 here for hpop, turbo base and 2 new front hubs. Have nothing but good to say. Was reasonably priced and communication was on point. Will use in the future again and highly recommend.

I had been having A/C issues with my 2013 F-150 and the high speed cooling fan running constantly. I stopped in this morning unannounced expecting it to be more than a coolant issue after reading multiple Ford google forums. Within 30 minutes they had pulled the coolant and recharged the system correctly telling me that's all it was and the only payment accepted was a hand shake.. I was recommended to them by a friend and have already recommended them to a co-worker of mine. Highly recommend using them!

A year ago my 6.0 powerstrokes engine blew up and another shop attempted to fix it and failed after 9 months of attempting to fix it. I called American Performance Diesel and the owner immediately took over the phone call and told me he could get me in immediately. Eric and his mechanics looked over the truck and within 1 business day was able to figure out what was wrong with the truck. Excluding shipping times to get the products in that needed to be ordered it took them 3-4 days to install everything (there was a lot of work that needed to be done). Eric kept in contact with me on a regular basis to let me know what was going on. I own a business and have been in the automotive industry all my life and Eric the owner, Thomas and Christian’s the mechanics made me feel like a friend instead of a number or just another customer. The truly went above and beyond. I would recommend this shop to anyone I know.

On the road in our diesel pusher motorhome when we started losing engine coolant. After a quick search online for nearby diesel mechanics we found Eric and ADP. Eric quickly assessed the issue to be a failed water pump. The techs at ADP got right on our rig, replacing the water pump and got us back on the road. I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone who needs professional diesel service.

My AC was not blowing cold in my Duramax like it was and we were set to take a weekend trip and I have a four-year-old. Too notch service. Had problems with my Ford 6.0 he was spot each problem I had and if know 6.0 there alot! Moved on to a 6.7 and he already has given me pointers about it. Eric knows his stuff!! Now even better shop. 5 deep bays, front waiting area a d place for kiddos to play. And right off the highway on the service road.

Eric is a great guy to work with. And here is why. I am hearing impaired. So unlike other shops, do not want to deal with hearing impaired, I would get “I will call you back!” And I would never hear from them. From the start Eric has either emailed or texed me the repairs needed to be done. And given me a quote for other repairs that I ask for in the same day. Eric is THE DIESEL mechanic that you will want working on your 6.0 powerstroke. He did the bulletproofing on my 6.0 powerstroke and I am very pleased with the work. He kept me updated on the work he was doing that week. If he saw something wrong he would let me know. So customer service is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

2023 Update: My GF drove my truck and ran out of gas. He called me immediately and help me resolve the issue to get it to start. Once again showing that customer service at its finest. You can’t find places like this anymore, worth its weight in gold to have someone so knowledgeable and quick to do the right thing. Highly highly recommend.

I bought a 2011 Duramax and live in McKinney. I had a hard time just finding a Duramax mechanic. I wanted to get tune, CP3 pump, lift pump, Sump Pump, glow plugs replaced, interior and exterior transmission filter replaced, transfer case fluid changed, and visual inspection of engine. He did it all and then some. He went above and beyond to make sure my truck had no issues and correcting some wiring stuff also. I had concerns where to take it and after talking with him I felt great about taking it here. He does Duramax, Powerstroke, and Cummins. Eric knows his Duramax stuff really well. It was worth the drive here. I will for sure be coming back for anything.

Eric & Shelby operate a well run shop and the work is top notch. My 350K+ F350 runs like a charm w/the new turbo & I found a great diesel mechanic.
