MD Pediatric Associates - Coppell

We have been dealing with a longer term and challenging diagnosis and I simply cannot say enough about this practice. Becca has been the most kind, reassuring, thorough and empathetic. She has spent a lot of time with us during our visits and has responded to questions after hours. While no parent wants to see their child have challenges it is so wonderful to know of the capable, and caring hands he is in at MD pediatrics.

I have had a positive overall experience at this practice and am particularly pleased with Becca.
I have a newborn and have met with Becca twice for my lactation needs. She is amazing -so patient, reassuring and really knows her stuff.

My baby was having nipple confusion and I couldn’t get him to latch for almost four days. I felt defeated and worried. However, with her help, he latched during our lactation visit and she gave me tools to help him latch at home, too.

Happy with my experiences so far working with this office for my son from birth to 6 months right now. Appointments have been easy to come by, office is well staffed and has many options to get patients in quickly. Dr. Shumate is great and we’ve also seen Dr. Elam, who was also great. I’ll be happy to continue bringing my son here!

We’ve been going to this doctor for years. Without fail, when one of my kids is sick, they manage to fit us in the same day. We’re very happy with the level of care we receive here and would highly recommend this practice.

Becca Patrick is truly one of a kind. She talks to my children like they are real people. She listens. She takes her time. You know what makes Becca different? She loves. She is truly a blessing to my family and the community of Coppell. It’s not easy to find healthcare that is personal. Becca, I hope you read this because you have made an impact on my family.

Best doctors and PA's! All are great but after my last appointment with Dr. Shumate, I felt compelled to write a review. She was so thorough and took all the time we needed to discuss my son's diagnosis. She answered all the questions and was honestly so invested to help us understand every aspect. I cannot thank her enough!

We always have a great experience at md pediatric. I recently took my kids in for a sick visit and saw Lauren she remembered my son from several months ago. She made both my 5 and 2 year old feel comfortable and always gives follow up options.

I love Becca. She is awesome. Cares for your kid like they are her own. Never rushes and listens. I drive from Red Oak just because of her. She really makes it worth the drive to know that your precious angel(s) will be taken care of. She is simply the best. Very knowledgeable and compassionate. We need more health care professionals like her to remember why they do the job they do.

We’ve been going to MD Pediatrics since my daughter was 6 months old. She is now 8 and have loved most of the providers there. Dr. Shumate and Dr. Kincaid have both provided us with excellent care over the years! Since Dr. Kincaid retired, we recently saw Dr. Varkey who was also excellent!

My wife and I are first-time parents. We had a ton of questions and concerns regarding our newborn, and Dr. Varkey answered every one of them! She is extremely knowledgeable and kind! We’re so happy to have found this place!

Our visits are always great. Today we had a much longer wait than usual but it could also be that I’m spoiled from not usually have to! Lauren asked J questions directly and gave him the chance to answer. I loved that.

We have been coming to MD Pediatrics for 3 years now, and all I can say is I will NEVER go anywhere else. All 3 of my kids LOVE their doctor/medical team. The folks at MD are so much more than our pediatric team, they treat us like family. Jessica, Becca, and Dr. Shumate are the only ONLY medical professionals I would trust my babies to! We will always come to our trusted team at MD pediatrics. The office staff, doctors, and nurses are family to us.

We always have a great experience at MDPA! All the providers are wonderful and take extra time to make sure all our questions are answered. We feel our daughter is very well cared for!

We absolutely adore Becca Patrick. She is amazing and so patient with our little man. She does a great job of explaining things and assuring us first-time parents.

The nurses were friendly and the nurse practitioner was thorough with her exam with my daughter. She gave us great advice and my daughter is making progress.

Dr Shumate is quite literally one of the most amazing physicians I have ever met. She is fully invested in the health and success of her patients, has a fantastic bedside manner, and is so communicative with parents. Her staff is extremely responsive via the portal and very accommodating of the individual needs of my kids. In the 10+ years that we have been interacting with pediatricians, I have never felt so supported and seen.

Both our daughters go to MD pediatrics Coppell. The doctors, RNs, and staff are AMAZING. They're always cheerful and patient with our kids. Whenever our child gets sick, we have always been able to get an appointment for the same day. Appreciate everyone there. :)

Been seeing Becca since February 2021, since my first daughter was born and have been coming to her ever since. Love, love, love Becca! She is absolutely amazing. Also, haven't had any problems with the office thus far. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
