I stopped by on the recommendation of a good friend of mine to have my Sidi bike shoes repaired. Walter was quick and efficient and was able to fix my small repair while I waited.

Walter is the absolute best at what he ideas. Pay in cash, tip well and don’t be from Bellevue. He fix’s hand made shoes by hand. Someone else can fix the heel on your Prada pumps.

A great place to get specialized shoes

Laid back designer of specialty footwear, good character, worth a try.

I went to this guy to ask him to fix a pair of boots that had been re-soled by another cobbler who had glued them back together in such a way as to reduce them by a half a size so I could no longer wear them.

This weirdo's idea of a solution was to chisel a pothole in the sole of the boot. When I returned to pick them up, I couldn't believe what he had done - totally destroyed the sole. I had to take them elsewhere and have them re-soled all over again.

Definitely not 'mobeta'.

I called this guy yesterday looking to schedule an appointment. I described my feet to him as I was born with two toes on each foot that are wider than normal. His immediate response was "what a mess." For a place that supposedly appeals to people with unusual feet with "all the oddities life can produce" (from the mobeta website) I was very confused by this response. I asked him to clarify such a rude statement and he said, "it's difficult to find shoes that fit, correct?" as if that excused his previous statement. I immediately hung up. I have zero interest in giving business to someone who says "what a mess" about my feet and I'd encourage anyone looking for custom shoes to stay away from this loser too. You can find better custom shoe places, trust me.
