Cassie the Cat was literally chewing her belly to pieces. We went in and after a through exam it was determined allergies were the cause. After only two days on new food, Zyrtec, and a soothing body lotion she is already improved. No more chewing, playful, and generally happy, Thank You!

Such kind and caring doctors and staff!! One of my boys had special medical needs and they've always made me feel like he is a priority to them and that they care so much about him. Happy to report he's fully healthy now, thanks to Dr. Jenn's extra special care. I'll never be able to thank them enough.

Absolutely love this clinic! They're all very professional and kind, including the kitty in the picture, who came to say hello while I was waiting.

For 8 years after I moved to Seattle they took care of my 10 year old cat up till she passed at the age of 18. The entire staff was loving, caring, and understanding of my cats needs. They offer great advice and a great amount of empathy for our little companions, as well as their human counterparts. Their direction helped my furry companion live a long life. They truly care, and when it came time to let her go, I firmly believe they shared my dismay.

After 8 months of letting go, I brought a couple of 8 week old littermates (a super cute male and adorable female) into my home to share life with. Having been the caretaker of an elderly cat for many years I'd forgotten what to do with kittens and their direction was greatly appreciated. The kittens were needing the usual vaccinations and, not too long ago, they needed to be spayed and neutered. Again, I received the best care I've ever experienced including guidance and empathy. I'm very grateful for such a great place that specializes in feline treatment that truly cares about my little companions.

I highly recommend to everyone looking for a professional caretaker for their cats. Whether it be preventative care or dealing with sickness or aging issues, as long as I live in Seattle, I will always use their services.

Updated on 4/15/24: I left the below review about a year ago--since then, we've been back a couple of times for checkups etc. Still think this is the best vet in Seattle--they seem to love my cat just as much as my family and I do. They've thorough and answered all my questions. The vet emailed me the next day to let me know my cat's labs were fine; such great service!

We’ve been coming here for years—they are so caring and have treated all my cats beautifully over the years. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They truly care for each and every cat. You could not find a better vet for your kitty. 10/10 would recommend.

Dr Fliegil is the best vet we have ever seen. Our cats have been cared for by her for many years; she is truly a "cat whisperer." They love her, and she loves cats. She is smart, compassionate and funny besides. She has solved problems that other vets (including a specialist) could not solve. Also, a clinic 'for cats only' greatly reduces their anxiety and enhances the treatment. Not to mention the special expertise in feline medicine of Dr. Fliegil and her cat-loving staff. We couldn't recommend the Cat Clinic of Seattle more highly.

First visit here for our new kitten. Everyone was so kind and pleasant. Dr. Johnson was great - very thorough, explaining everything, welcoming us into the exam room with our kitten, and handling him so caringly. Love the two resident feline staff members. So glad we found the Cat Clinic!

Long story short:
My kitten has runny eyes, nose, and has been having diarrhea for the past month and a half since we got him. 4 vet visits at 4 different veterinarians in 2 different states, each $200+ later, he isn't any better.
Each one gave us little to no help and did not improve the state of my kitten. Then finally, I was recommended by another vet office in Seattle to come to the Cat Clinic of Seattle.

The staff and clinic environment:
My fiancé and I live two hours away from Seattle so during our drive over, the little guy peed in his carrier. But once we arrived the receptionist kindly offered to clean both the carrier and Milo. I was so surprised at how pleasant she was! The technicians were just as sweet and pleasant to speak with as well. The atmosphere here is also very calm, which may be nice for those who have nervous cats.

The doctor:
We had a 1 hour consultation because Milo's case was quite concerning and we wanted to make sure we thoroughly discussed our concerns as well as options for treatment.

The doctor we had is SO knowledgable about cats, and even that is an understatement. He is well up to date on the latest research and would discuss with us the supporting details to each of the treatments he offered. This gave us a piece of mind since we are both researchers and tend to be at ease with supporting evidence.

He took his time to address each of our concerns and ideas of what may be causing Milo's condition. Then he laid out a very intricate plan, both short term and long term, and let us know what to expect from each objective set.

Closing:
We left feeling more confident and at ease. The doctor provided us medication as well as probiotics, and a prescription diet to help with his inflamed intestines, and a prescription note so that we may purchase more probiotics once we are out of the pack he provided us.

I recommend, without hesitation, bringing your cat here for ANY treatments/checkups if you want transparency in your pet care and want someone who is knowledgable about feline health.

Even though we live a little ways away, it's completely worth the drive as this will be the only clinic we take our cats to.

We’ve taken our 3 cats to the Cat Clinic for over 20 years and have always been confident that they have gotten the best of care. All of the staff seem to love cats and there are even ‘cat hosts’’ that make cat owners feel right at home.

I came in as a new patient to get a second opinion on my 15 year old cat that hadn't been eating. The vet I was going to previously said she just needed some dental work and scheduled me out a month(!?) I was given an appointment ASAP after calling Cat Care Clinic of Seattle and they quickly did x-rays and tests to determine she had several large tumors and wasn't much longer for this world.

The doctor and all of the staff were all so kind to me as they discussed end of life care. It was very sad but everyone was so comforting and suggested a wonderful in home service. When I'm ready for a new feline companion I won't even bother with any other vet. Thank you!

The Cat Clinic of Seattle has been taking care of our cats, Bella & Lacey, since 2011. Sadly, Bella(on the left)died 3 years ago. The Clinic is friendly, efficient and always handles our felines with the utmost of care and concern. We appreciate that they are a cat clinic exclusively.

Cat Clinic of Seattle does a fantastic job taking care of our 10-year-old cat and has done so for many years.
They are very knowledgeable about veterinary medicine and really care about animals.

I love this clinic! They took excellent care of my companion Shadow for 14 of his 18 years. His last six months (after he was diagnosed with advanced kidney disease) were difficult, but the care and compassion we both received from the Cat Clinic was incredible. The staff went above and beyond in making sure we had what we needed to make him as comfortable as possible. Their care and expertise gave me months of precious time with him, and when it was time they recommended an excellent at-home vet to help him move on to the next life.

I have since adopted two young, rambunctious brothers and they have taken exceptional care of them. We caught a potentially very serious chronic condition in one of them very early because of their vigilance. I would never willingly go to another vet!
Highly recommended.

It's beneficial to have a veterinarian's office dedicated to cats. We have two senior litter mates and they've both been receiving excellent care from the Cat Clinic of Seattle (and Dr. Johnson, specifically).

A bit pricey but the staff is knowledgeable, capable, and they care about cats.
My cat adopted me back in 2013. She was an older stray that was spayed but had no tracking. She got thinner and started acting sick after a few months so I took her into the Cat Clinic of Seattle. It was discovered that she had a hyperactive thyroid and needed daily medication. Over the next 5 years she was a lazy, fat, happy cat. For a short while I went to another Animal Clinic in the area but I wasn't happy with their services and returned to the Cat Clinic of Seattle. I'm happy that I did because shortly after returning it was discovered that she had a growth that was affecting her quality of life. The staff at the Cat Clinic of Seattle helped me to know when it was her time and were supportive. I'm happy they could be there for her in the beginning and the end.

We've been going to the Cat Clinic for 20+ years. There's no one we trust more with our beloved kitties, for their entire life journeys.

I have been going to the Cat Clinic for about 25 YEARS! The care my feline companions have received has always been top notch. Through retirement and changes, the level of staff is always excellent. I really feel that I am working in an honest partnership with doctors to make care decisions, whether the choices be easy or difficult.

Also, these guys love cats! My current kitty, Pearl, is a bit special needs and requires medications and supervision. She's also super cute and affectionate, which sort of makes up for it. I boarded her with Cat Clinic while I was out of town. When I called in for an update they put Pearl on the phone :) ADORABLE!! They also gave me an actual update, no worries.

PS: My Pearl gets chilly and wore a sweater while she was boarded to stay warm. One of the techs bought her the cutest little pirate sweater which she was wearing when I picked her up. The techs are also super crew of hard working kitty-lovers that should never be discounted.
