Short Stop Deluxe Burgers

The catfish and hush puppies were super fresh and OMG delicious. The fries were perfect as well. Definitely recommend this plate! Too bad it’s only available on Fridays! 😀

Friendly service, food was FRESH and everything was correct. Chicken strips are BOMB and can't go wrong with a cheeseburger. French fries are better than Whataburger too by the way .

Dude what can I say? Short stop is iconic and as Austin as it gets. You want a delicious heart clogger, this here is your place. Something about those half steamed burgers still leaves a delicious taste in my mouth even though there's not as many locations left. And the fries are the best around in my opinion, just make sure you tell em crispy.

Great burgers for all 4 of us in the family. Got out at 24 bucks. Donna made my little guy who just got out of the hospital feel great. She was super friendly and talked with him about pokemon. Probably my new favorite short stop.

Shortstop is a reasonably priced Austin favorite even if this one isn't Cedar Park. If you've lived in Austin for any amount of time, you know that not all are created equal, but the ones that are good are really good. The pricing is similar to about any other Burger Joint out there, but I think the burgers are just better than most. I'm a big fan of their fries and I always get a single cheeseburger with bacon no ketchup no pickles. The people at the window are always super chill and very polite and they're able to make the order quite quickly. I would say you can generally get in and out a little faster then you could say at Whataburger. Don't forget about catfish Fridays, get it once and you will understand.

I don't eat burgers very often but needed a "quick fix". The food was fresh, staff was friendly, and my order was correct. Had to wait a few minutes but I appreciate that as my burger was loaded up with veggies and the fries were hot and crispy.

If you are new to town, stop in any Short Stop and grab a burger. They have had consistently great food for over 30 years. You won't be disappointed. Smash that like button if you agree!

A classic favorite. Wednesday and Saturday specials (drink, burger, fries) for less than $5. No inside seating available. Quick service, food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly. Their menu also has slushies, fish and chicken tenders.

Took our 15 year old Grandson for his 1st Shortstop burger. He loved them as much as we do. Great burgers and fries. Very quick service.

On 12/21/19, I came here and received excellent service from whoever was working there that day, made a slightly big order and they did it perfectly, everyone enjoyed the burgers! Great food, I will come back!

Did not know this place even existed until my grandparents had me get them a burger and I’m so glad I discovered it! Great customer service and the food was delicious! I hope I can find one closer to where I live so I can go more often.
