Zao's Chinese Kitchen

OMG!! I’m putting this gem of a restaurant on my list(6 places as of now). We only eat at local restaurants(vote with your dollars) after reading ALL the reviews, we decided to try. So happy we did. The fried egg rolls were crispy(chef’s kiss) also they were able to modify his order(chicken fried rice no onions) and I went with General Tso’s chicken(so good, perfect heat)as is. If I wasn’t starving I would have had leftovers too. But it was so good, I ate it all. The prices were good. I liked the dining area, I felt like I was in a foreign land(In a good way). We will be back. And often. Thank you.

Great atmosphere and super friendly family staff. We had the pan fried noodles with beef and General Tso Chicken....both were delish.The former superhero art is gone (nod to former owners), but in its place is an amazing hand painted mural that you should check out.

Ordered orange chicken, Chicken fried rice and Hot Garlic. My family liked them and I liked the Hot Garlic best.

WoW! Daughter asked to eat here tonight. First ever visit. Everyone is sooo nice! Food Excellent.We got served soo fast too! Prices are Great! Feels like a true Family operation. We are coming here more often.

Great inexpensive food. I usually get the Kung Pao chicken. They don't get things very spicy but i keep going back.

Was not expecting this place to be as good as it was!

We enjoyed our food variety of crab Rangoon’s, sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, egg drop soup and egg rolls.

Good portions, well prepared and steaming hot.

The fortune cookies are on point, inside and out 😁

My dad wanted Chinese food for his birthday and this place had good ratings so we went here. The young lady at the counter was very nice and friendly. Our food came out hot, fresh, and prompt, and it was delicious. My husband's only feedback was that his tofu was a little oily but mine was fine, it didn't bother me. It's not a fancy date type place, but the food and service are great. We will have it again.

My daughter (13) and I tried this place for the first time this evening The girl on the phone was sweet I ordered a variety of items, they were all pretty good and well portioned we will have leftovers for sure ,but best of all the girl on the phone said it would be 30 mins until food was delivered it was here in 20, the delivery driver was very sweet , so the service was on point and the food could have been a little better but was decent . We will obviously be ordering again soon ❤🫶🏻 thank you

This is our new favorite Chinese takeout place. The egg rolls are crispy and delicious, the tofu is pressed and crispy, my husband says the cashew chicken was near prefect, and the staff is an utter delight. Reasonably priced, quick service, and an easy to access location means we will continue to pick up food here for a long time!

I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp spicy with a side of fried rice and pan fried noodles with chicken. The food was super fresh and absolutely delicious! Good portion size too! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone craving Chinese food. I will be trying more of their menu items soon. Thanks for the delicious food Zao's, keep up the good work. 👍🏻

Today we tried Zao's Chinese Kitchen, and we are glad we did. The service was pleasant and quick. We placed our order Mongolian with a combination of protein and Chicken Moo Goo with bean sprouts. Absolutely delicious and enjoyed our lunch/first visit very much. We will be back.

We have been ordering from Zao’s regularly since it opened and have always been satisfied with their food and service!
I have always postponed writing my review but today I really want to give a big shout out for their huge effort last night, following the storm in the area and a difficult week for everyone accessing food.
Zao’s was ready to serve us last night.
They were extremely busy with take-out orders as not all restaurants were able to open so fast.
They still managed to serve a very large amount of customers, although some substitutions had to be made because they run out of some items. They called me twice while I was waiting for my order to be delivered, keeping me updated about the substitutions and they delivery delay.

Zao’s is definitely a nice local business to support!
Coming from California, I really missed the easy accessibility of Asian food and I am so glad to have this restaurant in our neighborhood.
The food is good and they are consistently providing a great experience!

Excellent location for take out, done in isn't really their thing. Food was very good and an incredible value. Please help keep them around by patronizing them.

Solid Wok flavor and nice service.

Had their black bean sauce with tofu and their combo fried rice. Serving size is adequate for the price - but for the quality it’s quite fair.

Excellent Chinese food, the freshest ingredients, expertly prepared. This locally owned and operated spot is the best restaurant in this end of town. The staff/owners are very friendly and efficient. Best hot and sour soup I've ever had. Everything we have tried has been absolutely delicious.

For a quick/fast food style of Chinese food it was really good. Super friendly staff. Crab Rangoon was tasty! I will be back to pick up and head home with more of their meals.

Finally a good Chinese restaurant in our neck of the woods. Zaos opened up at the end of March and are in soft opening mode right now. I have been to the owners other restaurants, so I had high expectations going in and they did not disappoint. We ordered a chicken pan fried noodles for the kids and a combination pan fries noodles for the adults. We are looking forward to trying out other dishes off the menu in the future!

Food is delicious and customer service above and beyond. I always order the Kung pao tofu; their tofu is just so good, and I love this particular sauce ...just enough spice. We also get green bean dish, hot and sour soup, egg rolls, steamed dumplings and fried rice dish... all very good. We did order the Loméin once, it was not traditional Lomein. The noodles were thin and kid does not like anything different. It tasted good, but be prepared as it is not the traditional lomein the kids love. I ordered cashew tofu today. I will review if not good, but so far everything is delicious here. Oh and they give the crispy noodles with the soup at no extra cost. Love it!
