Perfect painting

Perfect Painting - extremely well named. Derrek is a true professional. He made our 13 year old cabinets and interior walls look brand new. Derrek's attention to detail and pride in his work is unmatched. He clearly communicated throughout the project and made helpful and creative suggestions. To reference a review posted recently - my home is not higher-end, but Derrek and his team treated it like it was. Looking forward to using Perfect Painting in the future.

Derrek is the best painter you will find in the area. We have used other big companies in Pierce County, and they could not match the quality or price of Perfect Painting. His work is meticulous. His lines are perfect. The protection of our floors and other areas of the house went beyond our expectations. We had a tight deadline and Derrek worked multiple 12+ hour days in a row to make sure we met that deadline. He never took a break as far as I could tell and took his lunch while continuing to work. It is hard to find this kind of work ethic anymore.
Our home is a higher end home and I would trust Derrek with any painting job including on a multimillion dollar property.

I cannot say enough about the quality of the interior painting work that Perfect Painting provided for us. They painted our kitchen cabinets, all of the baseboards and door trims through the house, and painted the walls in three of our rooms.

We had our kitchen ceiling painted. Derrek and his crew were great! I was worried about getting paint on my cabinets but no worries. Everything was protected. They were so meticulous. Clean up was awesome too. I would definitely use them again.

The Perfect Painting crew, led by owner Derrek Ashe, just finished painting our 60-year old cedar-sided home. The siding needed lots of tender, loving care which it definitely received from the team. They were meticulous about prep work, lot of sanding and filling and caulking. Derrek guided us to a very flattering color, and the house has now had its "Perfect Painting" job! The team worked well together, arrived on time, were friendly and knowledgeable and respectful. All our flowers survived very nicely. All I can say is that the Perfect Painting team was the best choice we could have made for the job. They were on time every day, knew what they were doing, paid great attention to every detail of what they were doing, and we would choose them again in a heartbeat.

We found Derrek when his crew was painting our neighbor's home. We noticed that they were always on time and completed the job in record time. Our home has so much trim work and detail. We also have lots of plants around the house. The crew took special care to work around the landscaping and protect the plants. We appreciated that although we asked to have our job later in the fall Derrek kept us informed of when they would be ready to begin. We are so pleased with the outcome...it looks so good and fresh! The estimate was very reasonable and consistent with the other estimates. But, what made Perfect Painting stand out from the rest was the attitude and professionalism of the owner, Derrek Ashe. As a former Marine I was very impressed with his 'attention to detail' and commitment to perfection. Derrek and his team did an amazing job on our kitchen cabinets and builtins as well as the interior of our home. I knew he was the person for the job when he came to give us a quote and quickly started talking about the things he was able to cover/fix as needed. His attention to detail and his passion showed through very quickly. As I work from home, Derrek at times had to work around me and my schedule and was easy to work with on that front. If there were any issues he would come to us to let us know not only the issue but he always had a solution ready to go too. Further, he helped with a couple of suggestions of how to use accent colors and it truly turned out beautiful -- even better than I could have imagined. Derrek and his crew were more than wonderful! He was very quick with communication and just on top of everything. He painted my home and my grandmother's with quality work in a timely manner. They are more than just painting. If there is something other than painting your house you need done I'm sure he could do it or point you to the right people. He gave us a fair prices to paint our houses. They are very good at making sure the customer is happy with their work they've done. If I ever needed to do anymore work on my house they will be the first people I call. I'll gladly recommend these guys any day!

Thanks Derrek and crew for doing a great job on changing our cabinets from dreary to beautiful. We also love the epoxy countertop work in a contrasting color which gave our kitchen a much-needed and wanted makeover. Derrek Painted the exterior of our 65,000 SQ ft church in 2021 and has also come back to paint some doors for us. IMPRESSIVE. It's been nearly a year since the project and I am continually blown away by the quality of work. Even on gables where no one could see it, they masked and painted with excellence. Best painter I have ever worked with. Even in this COVID world where getting product can be difficult, he was able to work with Sherwin to get us great pricing and high quality alternatives. In addition, they left the site extremely clean, picking up all their masking tape, paper, and trash at the end of everyday. Feel free to drive by Christian Life Center in Port Orchard just to see how amazing of work they do.

Derek showed up on time for the quote and was very knowledgeable, passionate, and helped explain what options were available for our interior painting needs. They were also able to schedule our house within a week after we accepted our quote. On painting day, the crew arrived early, were professional, precise, and communicated with us about how they were going to approach the job. We even had some laughs! Then as I went to sleep (I work nights) the crew was very respectful and did their best to keep noise levels down. We are extremely happy and will definitely be using their services again!! My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the job that Derrick and his crew did on the exterior painting of our house on Hood Canal. They showed up as scheduled and the entire crew worked extremely hard. The job was completed in less time than we expected and that included pressure washing the entire house, extensive caulking, and two complete coats of paint including the trim work. I would recommend Perfect Painting to anyone that wants a very professional painting project at a very fair price. We will not hesitate to use them again on any future painting projects that we have.

Derek said he’d be at my house at 5 and he was there at 4:59 for my free estimate. They said they’d be at my house at 8 to start painting and they were there at 7:55 ready to go! They painted my kitchen, hallways, stair well walls and the entire common area upstairs in one day, which included filling in holes and texturing. If I hadn’t taken the day off the paint would of been dried and they would of been long gone before I’d get home from work. Best part I don’t feel like I got ripped off, they are very reasonably priced! Their quality of work is in the name, Perfect.
