A small and cozy spot to get coffee and quick bites. Very friendly atmosphere with beautiful local arts on the wall. The staff was very polite and efficient. I ordered the chai. They make their own chai concentrate here. It was delicious. The seatings are limited but sturdy tables and warm air are all I need to spend a good couple of hours painting.

I discovered this place thanks to TGTG but it quickly became one of my favourite spots in the neighbourhood! They offer great variety of delicious pastries, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to sit down to enjoy your coffee with a delicious pastry!

Stop by here on my way out of town to Idaho. Was greeted aptly and ordered an Americano and a savory scone. Joked around with the barista for a little bit who roasts his own coffee! The savory scone was delicious and everything else look quite yummy as well. Definitely recommend the spot if you’re on west the side.

Nice place to stop by on our walks thru Mt.Baker. Hours are great & it's dog-friendly.
Coffee base is South American with an acidic finish.
(Take an acid-reducer tab if you have reflux challenges.)
The people that work are upbeat & helpful.
Pro Tip: You have a sweet-tooth, get the salted caramel latté. It's pretty much joy in a cup.
Get the double cup since cups can leak at times.
Dog lovers: Your fur baby is welcome here! They have dog biscuits & a water bowl.

Midas 5-stars - for the friendly service & dog-friendly atmosphere.

It is a tiny family run cafe place. i loved the leek sandwich there. It was out of this world. The owners looks looks nice and somehow friendly. I would always go there for this egg leek sandwich. I am not a coffee person so I didn’t try any of their coffee menu items. The location is hard to reach ( lots of going around) though if u r coming from mercer island.

Found QED due to construction on my normal route- Thanks Seattle ! The Baristas are dope, always great conversations and suggestions. The Americano is really good, the espresso they use has alot of flavor. I usually also get a chocolate croissant too, it's 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

I buy all of my whole bean coffee at QED to make cold brew at home. Matt roasts his beans locally and it shows. A few times, it's taken longer than usual to fulfill my order or I was sick and couldn't make it to the shop, and Matt actually delivered it to my front porch himself. His prices are fair and it's a great way to support local small business. In addition, the staff are always wonderful and friendly. Lastly, Matt offered me wholesale prices when I was buying coffee for the nonprofit I used to work for. QED has been a wonderful addition to the Mt Baker neighborhood and Seattle in general!

My espresso (or doppio, as described by the barista) came with a small glass of soda water (sidecar) fresh from a newly opened bottle.
The espresso was bright 👌

Love love love this spot. Small and adorable inside; never feels cramped. Always clean and bright, great musicplaying, wonderful kind and down-to-earth baristas who seem happy to be there, and a chill, fun clientele. Espresso is some of the best in Seattle…and I’m picky! Cortado is to die for. I love the outside seating for writing, hanging with friends, and people-watching. Plus it’s to a dog grooming studio so also an amazing place to see cute doggos!!

This is my new favorite coffee shop. The coffee is smooth with no aftertaste. The baristas know how to make a fantastic latte. They have some homemade syrups which are good but I don't really like the aftertaste from the coconut sugar.

Great little neighborhood coffee shop. The coffee is excellent. I ordered a 4 shot latte. Good coffee flavor! They also have an interesting but small pastry counter. I had the twice baked almond croissant. It was super - nice, moist almond flavored center, slightly sweet, slightly crunchy outside.

This is the cutest coffee shop with friendly service. I didn’t try the food but the coffee did not disappoint. It was fresh and tasty. Check it out it is worth the stop

Just moved to the hood and stoked this place is super close. The coffee was excellent as was the donut and egg & bacon sandwich. What I enjoyed more was ordering a pour over and not knowing the difference between two types of roasts they had and being given some really amazing tasting notes on both. This level of quality continued as another customer got a full description of how they make their chai and another on the source of their pastries. Clearly committed to quality and looking forward to coming here regularly.

I had an excellent latte at QED Coffee to kick off my day.
Although the location isn't very convenient or central and the price is on the higher side; had I lived in this area, I can see myself come to QED coffee often. Service is friendly if not totally warm, coffee is on point, and they have a good selection of coffee. One more plus for me: they open at 6am (weekdays) / 7am (weekends).
