Dr Tripp and the entire staff are the best! Rest assured your furry friend will be in the best possible care. Our Oreo was being treated for melanoma and treatments started out well. Dr Tripp explained our options perfectly and patiently along the way. Everyone is absolutely wonderful! Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, truly superb. Sadly, cancer was too much for our sweetheart boy. Saying goodbye is heart wrenching, but this incredible team was simply the best in every way!

My Rosie girl went to BARC for about a year. Loved the very caring and helpful staff. Communication with your specialists is very good, and you can easily get ahold of them. It’s very apparent how much the staff love and care about your companion.
They were integral in making her last year very comfortable and rewarding. I would highly recommend this location and staff to anyone.

The staff here are all super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! They treat my baby with care and take their time answering any and all questions! They are very timely and professional with appointments and do their best to accommodate for last minute appointments and rescheduling. My 4 year old golden retriever was treated with chemotherapy for Lymphoma by the wonderful staff at BARC. I would highly recommend this Oncology office and I am super appreciative of the services BARC provides.

Update: What other vet calls after your dog's passing to send condolences, sends a gift, and as if that wasn't beyond extra... The kindest hand written card/messages to let you know they care and how special your baby was. This place and people go above and beyond for their patients and their families, and it shows. I am so grateful for the extra 7 months I got with my girl thanks to the smart, loving, kind staff at BARC. Thank you so much for all of your time, support, and kindness through such difficult times ❤

I feel extremely confident to bring my beloved pet to this veterinary hospital. The staff is professional. The place looked neat and organized. We were pleased to see that there is a chalkboard with all the dogs' names scheduled for the day. I wish I lived closer.

This is a surgery, oncology, specialist sort of practice, so no one was there for boosters or well puppy checks. Everyone was kind and considerate, and our case was given the full attention it warranted. The price even came in lower than I was expecting.

This is our first visit as our dog has cancer. We felt heard, understood and most of all, we felt the empathy for our situation.

I brought my pup Khloe here after an MRI showed two growths near her liver and she had stopped eating and drinking (she had been hospitalized for that and once stable they recommended an oncology appointment). Best decision I ever made. The staff was very, very responsive and Dr Becky Murray was wonderful to work with. She was able to remove 2 tumors successfully and Khloe only required 1 overnight stay. She healed extremely well and quickly began eating and drinking again on her first day home. She was able to start her walks with my other pups again, has the energy she used to have and is playful again. I will be forever grateful for their kindness, professionalism and care. I know if frequently read reviews to figure out the cost...the surgery was approximately $5,000. Worth every penny.

There are no words for the level of care this place provides during the toughest times in a pet owner's life. They are knowledgeable, caring, attentive, and wonderful. They have the all of the newest and most advanced treatments, they walk you through every part of the process, they explain costs and options. Absolutely wonderful experience from every single person who works here. They gave me precious more time with my boy, and I will never forget what they did for us.

Everyone at BARC is so incredible! They have been so supportive and caring of our dog after his cancer diagnosis. They were instrumental in getting our dog's health back on track. 23 months later: Today Shelby passed away at our house, overnight while we were all asleep. The folks at BARC have been incredible. From intake to exit, they've been compassionate, kind, and consummate professionals. They gave us two more years with our dog, and that was ultimately priceless. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. So many thanks to these folks, from vets to techs to folks at the front desk. Heroes, each and every one.

16 months later: We were invited into the lobby and I got to meet our docs for the first time. We've done one round of radiation at Pullman, but didn't make the other due to low kidney numbers. They gave us some suggestions and Dr. Tripp came over the top and suggested a possible kidney infection. Guess what? My pup is showing ridiculous improvement when last weeek I thought we were about to say goodbye. Can't say enough positive things about this place, and getting to meet the folks that have been supporting my pup for the last year and a half has been icing on the cake.

10 months later: my dog is still alive and doing extremely well. BARC is a well-oiled machine and has been extremely easy to work with. Every vet with whom we've worked has been a delight and explains exactly what's going on with treatments. We know we're very lucky, but we wouldn't have been able to do it without the hard work of the vets (AND VET TECHS!) at BARC. I'm so grateful to them for keeping our Shelby alive.

If you're looking at this review, you're probably in a tough spot. My tough spot started on Tuesday. We were referred and scheduled an appointment for the first time available, 2 weeks out. They were able to get us into a canceled slot today, Friday.

The oncologist we met with was friendly, empathetic, and one of the best public instructors I've met (shout out to Dr. Van Hesteren) in the 15 years I've worked in education.

It's Covid times, so curbside is the deal. We met over an iPad. Teaching online is not easy at all, but Dr. Van used a whiteboard behind him to walk us through the process.

The staff that spoke with us were funny, personable, and demonstrated an ethic of care (happy vet tech week again, Annette!).

We're still in a tough spot with a long road ahead of us. But today I have hope, and I haven't had hope since Tuesday. Whatever happens, I'm glad we came here.

The care we are receiving is amazing. Not only do the Veterinarians show care and compassion to the pets they also treat the owners just as good.

We have two cats going to BARC. Dr Tripp is amazing and everyone is so nice. Our cats, oddly enough, love going there! Cancer is scary but Dr Tripp knows so many options, it's more affordable than you'd think, and I am grateful our vet referred us to BARC. Here's our 16 year old cat who, thanks to BARC, is still with us.
