Southern Maine Remodeling did an amazing job remodeling our TV Room. All of their team was prompt, courteous, and professional and always available if we had questions. We will be hiring them back to refinish our kitchen floors. We have been very happy with their results and would highly recommend Southern Maine Remodeling to anyone.

Highest recommendations for this company. We had a large deck installed, replacing an old one. They worked with us and offered suggestions to improve the new deck. The workers were great - they were punctual and very detail oriented. We are extremely happy with the finished product. Thanks!

We did a significant gut-renovation job with Southern Maine, including 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a deck, moving walls, structural reinforcement, roofing, electrical, plumbing and HVAC. We are very pleased with the results. The workmanship is outstanding, the challenges they faced in our home were significant, to include fixing large mistakes made by previous contractors. We did experience delays which I attribute mostly to COVID, supply chain challenges, labor challenges, etc., and so feel very reluctant to put any of that on the Southern Maine team who were professional and thorough during the yearlong project (anyone working in business has experienced these challenges). My one area for improvement would be communication, which was inconsistent in the latter parts of the project. That said, I would recommend them to anyone with a challenging renovation. This team should be proud of the work they did on my project. Thank you to the Southern Maine team!

We inquired about a quote for a new mudroom addition and had a visit from Neal their sales manager. Neal communicated with us prior to the visit and showed up exactly on time. Unfortunately we are not able to proceed because we do not have enough setback to our property line to be able to do the addition we hoped for, but Neal educated us on this point and was extremely professional and courteous. We would definitely use SMR in the future!

I HAVE WORKED WITH TRAVIS BLAKE PRIOR TO OUR CURRENT REMODEL EFFORT. I CALLED HIM AGAIN FOR AN ESTIMATE FOR THIS FIXUP. I ACCEPTED HIS BID AS BEING FAIR AND REASONABLE FOR THE QUALITY OF WORK HE HAS DONE FOR US WHILE WORKING FOR MAINE PROPERTIES. I MADE THE CORRECT CHOICE AGAIN. TRAVIS AND I REVIEWED THE WORK TO BE ACCOMPLISHED WITH TIM MURRY AND CHRIS MACISSO. THEY PROCEEDED TO COMPLETE THE WORK IN VERY SHORT ORDER. THE QUALITY IS PERFECT, TIM AND CHRIS ARE TREMENDOUS TO WORK WITH AND I ENJOYED HAVING THEM IN MY HOME. STEVE MACISSO WILL COMPLETE THE PAINTING IN ONE MORE DAY, HIS PAINTING IS PERFECTION AND HE ALSO IS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. We needed immediate help after noticing the back wall of the garage was pushed out with water damage , we also wanted to replace warn materials on the front porch. I called, Mr Varney came out quickly , worked out a quote and promised action within a month. The water damage was an estimate, the work done was professional and the cost was under 50% of the estimate. The porch looks great and again great work on budget. An outstanding experience working with these professionals. I recommend them highly

Phoned regarding what I would guess to be a 200K-300K remodel. A nice receptionist took down the details and said that someone would phone back in a couple of days. A week later with no response, I tried again. The receptionist said that the person was in a meeting and would phone later that day. That was three weeks ago. Obviously, they are too busy to even politely decline work. Even if they did accept your job, how could you trust them to complete it? Avoid!

Had an absolutely insane experience with one of their workers/drivers. Got off the highway in Scarborough and was almost ran into while trying to switch lanes to go through the light on Hagis Parkway. This driver then proceeded to swerve back and forth behind my car while gesturing to a row of 7 cars to speed up! It was absolutely insane and dangerous driving. So unprofessional and careless. He could have caused an accident multiple times.

They will make you wait 6+ months just to be told that they don’t want your business. They estimate that remodeling a bathroom that is 7 ft x 7 ft would cost over $45,000.

Theses guys are so busy the are 24 weeks out just to get an estimate.taking on to much work.
