Big Apple Store

This gas station has the best automatic car wash in the greater Portland area. I used to go to Scrub-a-Dub but my car always had more scratches on it after being washed there. Ever since I started washing it here, there have been no additional scratches on it. It also seems to do a better job than the one at Irving (Cash Corner) or the one on Broadway across from the bowling alley, which is super fancy but always leaves parts of the car dirty and applies way too much wax. The simple, unassuming car wash at Big Apple cleans thoroughly, doesn't scratch, and doesn't over-apply wax. What more could you want?

The laser wash is great and much better than most touchless washes. It was clean and pricing was only $2 more than what I normally pay elsewhere. The nice benefit was my car was clean after the $14 wash I paid for and the inside of the wash bay was not green with mold like a recent touchless wash I visited in Portland. Thanks for providing this service.

If I could I'd give this store 10 stars all because of this incredibly nice and friendly woman her name was Danielle and she was very helpfull. Litterally came in with bad mood and she totally brighten up my day I wish more people we're just as nice as her because she turn my sour day into a sweet one. Next time Im in this town I will definitely be coming back to this store!!!You guys have been put on my fav list and I have never commented on store before so you best believe I was very satisfied with her costumer service she was absolutely wonderful!!!

Only gas station near me open after 11pm at the moment. Sold me gas and a soda, that's all I ask. Nice workers are a good bonus too.

Went in to get gas and the cashier, unprompted, explained to me how squatter’s rights laws apply in cases of demonic possession. 5/5 will return for more car juice and esoteric knowledge.

This chica here has got me through so many mornings with her personality and good mornings!! Gonna miss her so much as I’ve got a new job and will not be near her to see her most of my mornings!! Bummer on my end! I really going to miss my good mornings! Sherri is my go-to girl in the mornings!!

Great service but needs to sell Takis.

Stop here everyday after work for a snack and an iced tea. Store is always well stocked and I think the employees are great!

I like this location

I walkby on my way to work everyday. I lost my wallet back in November and John C. from this location just reached out to me on fcebook to say they've had it this whole time. He said it was his first day back in 3 years which means he's the only person who thought to reach out in the last 5 months. Everyone there has been pretty nice to me and are very efficient with their customers but he went above and beyond so I had to leave a review.

Very nice lady working at the register. They don't have a huge selection but when you're strapped for time this place is clutch!!! Don't understand all the bad reviews for this place

There are no brushes in the Carwash. There are 2 washes one is a laser wash G5 the other is a laser wash 360 that will be installed this month.

Not one to be too thin skinned but after patronizing this business every single day for the last 5 months I'm done. So many nice, polite and professional staff members but one particular staff member named Melissa is going too far. Rude, picky and just outright unprofessional. Eye rolling, purposely wasting my time and just rude everytime I go in. To the point that I'll wait in my car until there s charge of staff instead of dealing with her. Mainly because I'm very patience but I'm done. Pity as I like the store, the staff I talk to interact with on a daily basis but she made me but want to go there again before I say something that is contrary to my nature.
And she a trainee manger. What an ugly character and should not be in customer service leave alone a trainee manger. I'll be going to another 24 gas station/ convince store fun today on. Shame as they will also lose my daughter's and son in-laws business too.

Well, for a chain they lack the depth!

The last several times that I have gotten gas there, the machine would not give me a receipt and I had to go into the store to ge one.
A good way to get you to go into the store to buy things that you did not need?????? NO! I ad to wait in line for several minutes while the clerk had to try and understand the the many requests for instant lottery tickets from the many people standing in line. Many minutes later, I finally received the receipt for my gas purchase.

SKIP THIS STORE AND KEEP DRIVING TO CIRCLE K! Abouslutley aweful service. I was treated horribly, for no reason. Always a quick turn over with the staff so nobody stays long enough to know what they are doing. Obviously management has no clue what there doing. The ones that do know what they are doing, don't want do anything and are extremely rude to customers, with the exception of the one or two people they know outside of work. I would just plan your trip so you can go to the Circle K next door, they are friendly.( Just check the hours.)

I wish I could give a zero star rating. They don't care about their customers. My three year old could wash my car better than this place. Also, look at all the other bad reviews! They literally copy and paste the same response to every bad review. Seems like they really don't care about providing better customer service, and from what I've seen they don't care much about their employees either. Go to the next store just a few minutes down the street!

The older lady at the register was very rude. On my way in my mask broke so I was going to ask for one at the register. I get met with " you can be helped at the next register" I then just asked nicely if they had spare masks or one I could buy and bother times got a ride no. Then when I went to go about my shopping as my face was covered by my shirt which is a cloth covering over my mouth and nose. I got told I need to leave. I will never visit that store again. Sick of rude people

Location has supervisors closing location at midnight to take break unacceptable from corporate, no one should have to stand in the cold to wait to be served . Another terrible location .
