Super helpful people. Great selection of beer, spirits and wine. They have clearly tasted every bottle of wine as there are great labels describing each bottle, location, grape variety and taste as well as pairings with food.

What a hidden gem! Amazing wine selection (in addition to the beer) - and not just your typical stuff - a great variety from each country! Way better to shop here than any of the other wine / liquor stores around!! Owner Robert is so knowledgeable and - added bonus - shares a love for my favorite Spanish red - Mencía! Pricing is very reasonable and he also offers 1/2 case and case discounts!

This place has been the find of the year for me! The selection is amazing, especially for the whiskey wall. It's nice to go into a store and be able to look at selections from almost every distillery you can think of. The best part is when they do get a case of some allocated stuff, or some really hard to find bottles, it's rarely marked up over MSRP. These guys are my absolute go to shop these days! Cheers!

Great selection, friendly staff

I love shopping for all my specialty drinks here. They have a great variety and they seem to be the only one around that let's you buy mix packs so you can try one of something before you buy an entire 4-pack of something.

Oak Hill Beverage is probably the best liquor store around. The staff are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Great selection of beer, liquor, and wine. If they don't have something you're looking for, they should be able to put it on order for you.

Great. Employee's who helped me were extremely nice and knowledgeable. Truth be told not a fan of their owner. But, at least his employees and pricing is fair. We will continue to shop there. They are an local business and we patronize local businesses.

Great variety of whiskey, craft beers, seltzer, wine, and more. Knowledgeable staff too. This is my go-to for all my adult beverages!

Chase helped me decide what rum to buy. He walked from the counter (no one else there) and literally educated me about various rums. I ended up walking out with the local rum that I didn’t even know existed thanks to him. Hands down one of the best experiences in obtaining a rum. I will always remember this place and I am an out of stater!

Very unique choices. The staff are phenomenal, and want to assist the customer. You can tell they care about their business. I've not witnessed customer courtesy like theirs in a long while. Very impressed!

Fantastic craft beer selection, especially local brews. Since they've added liquor, also a great bourbon selection, which is the other thing I care about. My #1 go to in the area, highly recommend.

Nice little non-chain store.

Honestly, I had not been there in a while, in fact since they moved from the back of the strip mall to out front. The new location is lighter, brighter, and more visible and airy. I will certainly stop by more frequently when in the area.

I re-discovered it by accident last week after stopping by Nonesuch River Brewing on my way to my buddy's house in So. Po. I knew he liked their "Red" an Irish Style Ale and wanted to pick him up a four pack. Bummer, they were closed. Turns out that they are now closed on Monday and Tuesday for lack of labor. Plan B was to pick up some other beer at Hannaford, when I came up with plan C: see if Oak Hill Beverage was still there.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the new store, and to see that it was stocked with many Maine microbrews both refrigerated and not. I was like a kid in a candy store. Overwhelmed by the displays, I asked the young clerk for help and he promptly walked me over to the Red. I was pleased to see that many of my local favorites were also there. Now I know that I do not have to traipse all over Portland, deal with traffic and crowds to get Bissell Brothers, Foundation, etc. and can check out other Maine and other state micros, that I have heard about without actually having to travel all over Hell's Half Acre. A plus is that the beers are in line, pricewise, with those at the brewery locations.

My nephew loves craft beers and I am sure he will add this place to his Maine favorites the next time he and his lovely new bride come up to visit.

They guys are super nice & knowledgeable & answered all my dumb questions. We had a great chat. I'll be back!
