We were scared about the bad reviews about this facility but we had a great experience so far! On time, caring and professional!

I was very nervous about going here when my doctor referred me because of the negative reviews. I was pleasantly surprised though with how positive my experience was. All of the staff members I interacted with were very kind, friendly, and helpful. The doctor was attentive, and took the time to explain everything to me. When she saw that I wasn’t comfortable with her initial judgement, she offered to do more tests to put me at ease. If she had not done more tests, we wouldn’t of found out that I have Graves Disease. I’m very grateful that she took the time to listen to me, and make sure that I was content with how my appointment went. Not many doctors do that, and I really wish they would.

I have had type one diabetes for 48 years. Given the new devices to assist us in improving our personal care, sharing our truth with the team, and their compassionate, current knowledge used in tutoring us to appropriately adjust to our needs...for me, I have been able to improve my life to a feeling as if I don’t have diabetes most of my day! I have a sense of being free, not care free, just free! I am grateful to have them available. My living with diabetes is really up to me. They only can help me make the proper decisions with what I share. We are a team....sometimes time is limited, a result of more emphasis on business qualities vs true excellence with medical care, the Art of it, Compassionate care. Trying to balance the time restraints given providers, gets in the way of their preferred practice style. So when I find I’ve forgotten to cover something or time runs short, I’ll use My Chart to gain more assistance.
They always come through with what I need, along with my input. I win my games, because I continually practice... life always has a few curve balls!.... we create new responses, and succeed!

I started going to the Scarborough office 3 years ago when my A1C hit 12.4. Dr Rockwell, her assistants, and the diabetes educator have been extremely effective and caring and I'm now on a group of medications that works for me. Appointments were prompt and out of office questions were handled the same day. I also appreciated the time that the center therapist spent with me in dealing with my depression.

I have been going here for years. Even through covid, the staff is awesome. From Rockwell to Caldwell as passionate Endos- and then the rockstar NP/RD team : shout out to Julie Barnes and the other fabulous ladies. Stop being so good 😊! I can’t take it. You all have helped me on my type 1 diabetic journey so much! I feel cared for and like the team has my back as various health needs have arisen. The hard working RN, MA, and front of house have been nothing but patient with listening to my needs. Thanks for being there through all the diabetic lows and highs! Keep being passionate!

I have never received better care as a 37 year old diabetic and the care I have received, whether in person or with diabetes educators over the phone, especially with this COVID-19-19 pandemic has been exceptional. My care team has always personalized their interactions especially now. Today I talked with Lori and she was the best in help as well as advising me on my next steps with the Dexcom G6 and communication problems I was having. I completely and personally recommend this Endocrinology Clinjc to anyone seeking help with their diabetes.

Not only is Dr Zierick an amazing surgeon she also has great bed side manner. The way Dr Ziernick approached my husband about his 35 year cigarette addiction set him at such ease and lead him to quit after his surgery. She is down to earth and profession and recommended even by the admitting office of Maine Medical center I am forever grateful to her and her staff ❤

First time at this location due to my endocrinologist moving from the Augusta location to the Scarborough one.
Dr Gujral is AMAZING. Seriously, just phenomenal. She's so sweet, intelligent, knowledgeable, REALLY listens to you and tries to figure out how to help you. Very thorough. I will not see another endocrinologist. She's the best.

Sometimes there's a long wait but it's worth it because they take all the time that you need to explain and make sure you understand what is going on with you I almost died 2 years ago and they saved me.

December 2021
I had a telehealth visit today with Dr. Rebecca Leary. As far as I can see she is the light at the end of a very long tunnel for me. Finally I’m getting off Metformin which is been causing me so many gastrointestinal issues. She listened to everything I had to say, and took it into consideration. We have a solid plan to manage my diabetes and even considered the issue of paying for the medication if I had trouble. I really want to give this place five stars that’s how happy I am with the visit I had today and what we’re doing to manage my diabetes. This is the best diabetes healthcare I could get that I was looking for to begin with. All I can say is thank you I’m surprised I’m not in tears. *** I’m all choked up, this is such a relief.

June 2021
Told me I’m type one on Friday and changed their mind Monday. Worst case scenario I can imagine. I was just trying to get a different medication because of cost and side effects and now they’re not prescribing any.
I’m literally starving and afraid to eat.
I feel like my life is in danger and they’re doing nothing but contradicting themselves every two days.
Worst care ever, they don’t care at all.

Original review.! Sign says to call before entering, voicemail says they are closed. Doors are filthy and handicapped switches are too. Check in announced my birthday, and address so that everyone could hear. She also asked if I had diarrhea. Hippa help us all. I’m not a fan of Maine Medical system and this isn’t helping.

Hopefully my diabetes treatment continues to go well as it’s the only reason I gave three stars vs one.
