Steve's Family Dining Livonia

The Polish food is really great especially the pierogi. The half order of pierogi and a bowl of dill pickle soup is my favorite meal. The grilled chicken pita with added feta cheese is also really good. You really can’t go wrong here. Great comfort food and great service.

THIS PLACE.....was OUTSTANDING. A dying breed. The whole menu is truly something. I enjoy speaking with the locals as they are leaving the restaurant, and I am entering and asking them about their lunch . Their response lets me know I am in the right place. I can't even begin to talk about the menu. This is truly a hidden gem. I will be visiting them again FOR SURE when I make it back to the area.

*This is just an update from my review last year. The Detroit Aero Modelers had another of their yearly Christmas parties here at Steve's! Again, the food was excellent! One thing however struck me as odd. Steve's serves giant cups and bowls of soup, yet they don't have any crackers. Such great soups need crackers. Come on Steve's, offer crackers with your soup!*

We had a great meal at Steve's! It was my family's first time dining at this great restaurant. My Radio Controlled Aircraft Club, the Detroit Aero Modelers, was having its annual Christmas party there. I was pleasantly surprised at the extensive Polish, Italian, and American food choices. I opted for the baked gnocchi with mozzarella and mushrooms and others ordered the Polish fair. I have to say the gnocchi reminded me of my grandmother's homemade gnocchi. The portions were large enough that some had to be boxed and taken home. I 100% recommend Steve's as the food quality and value is excellent.

Absolutely fantastic! We drove 45 minutes for the Polish combo. The stuffed cabbage was the best I’ve ever had in the state. The pierogi was perfection, the potato pancake was so good! I’m happy we only ordered one single pancake as it was huge. Such amazing portions and quality of food!!! The staff was wonderful, as well! We truly loved our experience here and wish we lived closer ❤

You'd spend about as much as you would at a fast food drive-thru so why not just come in, sit down, and enjoy a nice home cooked style meal? The meat loaf was delicious!

Came in on a busy week night; the food was delightful. Having been to Poland recently, absolutely felt authentic. Since the option exists removed a star for service as it was extremely busy, no fault of the restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Great food consistently every time, I tend to lean towards the Polish dishes and have never been disappointed. The service exceeds my expectations. Very clean and friendly environment. We met here in a group this time and all left very satisfied.

Visited for the first time. I had the polish combination. Everything was delicious. I had the city chicken, I think next time I'll get the cabbage roll. The pierogi were fantastic. The cheese was the best. Kielbasa was also good. Cabbage was good but not hot enough. Overall in general I'd recommend this place. Everyone was super nice and we had a wonderful lunch with old friends

Ate there tonight for the first time ever. Had an excellent server - Felicia. If you have a good server, that helps a lot. She answered our questions and explained things well. The food was great! Tasted good. We got the choose three option and chose ribs, shrimp, and grilled chicken breast. Prices are very reasonable. Friendly staff.

Cannot say enough about the delicious polish food here! Highly recommend the Polish Combo, breaded pork chops, and City Chicken! Also, all the cakes are delicious, but the lemon cake is phenomenal!!!

The polish foods are perfect. I'm pretty sure the kielbasa is homemade. The American food is a little odd.. like my hamburger steak had chicken gravy on it. The server (Felicia) was excellent in every respect. My daughter loved the chicken parmigiana. The German tomato soup and dill pickle soups were really good as well. To top it all off, the prices are low enough to feed a family of 6 without a budgetary crisis-- $59 without drinks, and no one is still hungry.

I had the great opportunity to photograph some dishes on behalf of DoorDash. I was blown away on how authentic the dishes were. I was able to take home the ribs and the chocolate mousse and carrot cake. It was all simply delicious!!
Steve's son runs this business and is really hands on. He cares about his customers and the quality of food that comes out of the kitchen. I can tell by how nice his staff is and how clean and presentable this restaurant is, that this is truly a gem! I highly recommend Steve's Family Dining because I know that your dining experience with this homemade comfort food will be wonderful.

The food is always outstanding, the closest you will find to homemade Polish food anywhere. I personally love the City Chicken and Chicken Dumpling soup!

Drove by this restaurant hundreds of times with sign stating (Polish-American) homemade food. Finally decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. Not especially drawn to Polish Cuisine so tried Italian Chicken Scallopini which was delicious. Have returned several times with friends who have ordered meals such as Roast Beef Dinner, Turkey Dinner, Chicken Stir-Fry, Gyro Pita, Greek Salad and Chef Salad. Impressed salads are served with warm pita bread as well as good quality sliced bread served with dinners. Deserts such as rice pudding and chocolate cake are divine. Servers are attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is casual, clean and comfortable. We are now regular customers. Thank you.

Enjoyed another lunch at Steve’s diner. My friend loved hot roast beef sandwich and chocolate cake. Chef salad for me was delicious and satisfying. Service excellent and restaurant clean. Thank you.

I ate it too fast to show a picture. Great cabbage, kielbasa and perogies. Service and value were great too, recommended. Made it back again and this time I got pictures, another great lunch.

Had a table of abt 14 Saturday evening. Both the service and food was great! Highly recommend esp. if you love Polish cooking. Great varied selection. Be sure to try Steve's!

This is a great go-to place if you’re ever not sure what you want to eat because they have everything. Large portions, low prices, and friendly fast service. If you haven’t been there, stop in and see for yourself.

Great family restaurant! We always have a great time when we go, the corned beef and cabbage is great and so are the potatoe pancakes!

Food was really good. Just a little bit too salty. But I was told that’s why it’s called AMERICAN polish food.

Can't beat the price of a meal here. Polish/American comfort food. I love their soups and breakfasts especially. This morning I discovered corned beef hash as a side. We both ordered hash with over easy eggs. Sooo delicious, I will share the photo. I took half my breakfast home, their portions are very generous. Our waitresses are always friendly and attentive.
