Having worked in the legal field myself for 35 (+) years, I have high regards for Attorney Andrew Kinney. He spent time with me necessary for preparation of my disability case. Attorney Andrew Kinney is the most kind and caring attorney and he was on top of things. He and his paralegal, Lisa Schmidt, are a great team and Lisa should be commended for her hard work as a paralegal and staying on top of my file. Lisa always returned calls when necessary and was informative regarding anything that needed to be taken care of on my end. I appreciate both of them.

I have had my disability for 28 years now. I tried applying for benefits on my own and was denied. My experience with Hoglund&Mrozik with my disability hearing was very good my lawyer Andrew called me day before for 15 min and day of hearing for 15 min by time had hearing we went over case enough that when judge ask me questions I knew how rely & was approved shortly after. I would recommend the firm and Andrew if u want to win case. And not to merino 30 years experience

Andrew was very helpful and kind during the hearing and prep, and really took the time to make sure I was comfortable and supported in a stressful time. The rest of the staff I worked with were also consistently helpful and caring.

I was apprehensive about calling for help with my SSDI claim, but I'm so glad I did. Mr. Kinney and his staff were attentive, polite, understanding and took care of getting all of the documents I needed. When it came time for the hearing, Mr. Kinney called me the day before so I knew what to expect the experience to be like - helping to calm my nerves. At the hearing he pointed out things and asked the vocational expert VERY good questions. Afterwards, Mr. Kinney called me to go over how we both felt it went and what to expect next. Considering bankruptcy? Think it’s your only option? I’m here to say Mr. Lacey opened my eyes to another path for debt relief, one that isn’t the “nuclear option!” Many law firms utilize high-pressure tactics to “push” the client into bankruptcy; There are other ways! I was hesitant to pursue bankruptcy- I worried it could hurt me getting a new job and being allowed to rent/lease an apartment- these horrible scenarios have happened to people I know (yes, denied employment over bankruptcy on their record) and I didn’t want to face the same dilemma because I hastily chose bankruptcy!
During a phone consultation, a Hoglund attorney and a paralegal both noted I should, instead, consult with Mr. Matthew Lacey, their debt settlement attorney (he also knows bankruptcy law.)

I’ve now had 2 phone consultations- informative, detailed calls- laying out my strategy and how to proceed. I’ve received such advice from no other law firm/ attorney which with I’ve tried consulting. Long story short— I do NOT need bankruptcy at this time, and with my current life circumstances, I’m not on the hook for these debts. You have more options than you think. I was afraid to start the bankruptcy process. They made sure I understood everything. I was given a list of documents I needed right away and was always helped if I couldn't find or understand them. Every member of the team, including the receptionist is friendly, and always returns emails and calls! I also received support before and after the hearing.
