Best DMV experience. I have moved around a bit, and this was my best driver's license experience. Employees were quick and very nice.

For license renewals or anything title and registration related - this place is excellent. The team that works here is extremely helpful. I've gone here many times over the last 10 years and never had less than a five star experience.

I will always go here whenever I need to renew my license or do anything DMV related. The staff is always very helpful.

Pre-COVID, I never had to wait very long to do what I had to do. Whether it was transferring a title, getting a passport, or renewing my license, I'm always assisted quickly compared to other DMVs I've been to.

I visited during COVID and they still were doing a phenomenal job. Although the wait in line outside was long, once I was inside I was done within 10 minutes. Throughout the wait an employee came outside and made sure we had all the necessary paperwork and that we were ready once we were inside. Once inside she directed everyone where to go and was very informative when people had questions.

Staff in 2024 when I went were very nice! If I had any questions I didn’t feel like I was taking up their time if I asked…didn’t feel rushed out the way I used to.

I've visited this location dozens of times to handle car title transfers, registration issues, and passport applications. The service clerks have always been friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient at processing the reams of paperwork that goes along with these transactions. Long lines are to be expected much of the time but they do their best to service each customer as quickly as possible.

In my experience, the staff are friendlier and seem more helpful here than the folks at the DMV. Average wait time I've experienced is 15-30min. It's less out my way though, so I will definitely continue to go here in the future.

The most friendly, helpful folks happy to answer all your questions. They also offer drop-off 1 hour tab renewals - drop off your payment and pick up your tabs in an hour. Though I’ve never had a long wait here anyway!

This is the best DMV experience I have ever encountered. The staff is friendly, helpful and understanding. If you gave two stars to them you obviously haven't been to similar facilities in Minneapolis/St. Paul. Our Duluth team is excellent. Everytime.

The best experience I've had renewing my license and tabs. Staff were quick, courteous, and very helpful. I've had so many bad experiences in the past that this one stood out to me as being really positive!

I will always go here for all my DMV needs. They are knowledgeable kind and efficient.

I’m not going to lie, I was super anxious going in to get my new RealID with my 5 month old and 4 year old who doesn’t like to sit still not knowing how long it was going to take to get called up. I was 10th or 11th in line when I got there but I waited all of 10-15 minutes. The Deputy Auditor that helped me was very patient and super helpful getting us in and out. He also had a candy dish with suckers that made my 4 year old’s day! Yay!! I did pre-apply online and had all of my documents required (minus one that I only had a digital copy but he worked with me to get it figured out) but THANK YOU for making this process quick and a lot less stressful for me and my kids than it could have been!

Polite and courteous, helpful, and very worth our trip "up the hill" to go here versus the "other one" in West Duluth, where they are rude and anything but helpful. Thanks for the great experience with your agency. Kudos to the staff.

Good service. Fast considering what they do. Idk what some people expect of a place that offers DMV services. This isn't Starbucks.

Very helpful! longer wait time because more people go to this one but worth it. grand ave DMV is not helpful when you need to know something or ask questions. called this DMV and they answered my question right away!

Lunchtime, walked right in and helpful person even tracked down my (forgotten!) insurance info for vehicle tab renewal. Easy transaction and will be back.

Just picked up liscense tabs. It was nice actually, the place was busy but we got in and out in about 15 minutes. I wish it would always be this quick!

I wasn't anticipating such a friendly voice on the other end of the line. I wish I had gotten her name so I could give her the recognition she deserves! Very helpful and patient with answering all my million questions!

Tried to call them in the morning and they literally picked up the phone and hung up.

EDIT: EDIT: Phone issue seemed to be due to faulty phones. They showed they cared by replying quickly to my original review and are helping me with my issue. Thank you Duluth DMV!
