Howell Park

This is a lovely waterfront park hidden away in Madrona. The path is found among some obscure side roads and when you get down the winding way, you are rewarded with a peaceful place to sit. There are a few log benches, a stone wall closer to the water, and grassy areas to sit in. A place you could contemplate life and/or go for a swim!

When I say hidden away, I really mean it. I met a strange man there during my visit, so also remember to be aware of your surroundings all over the city.

Small but friendly nude beach! Mostly LGBT+, but everyone is welcome! Little to no parking, you will have to park in the neighborhood. No bathrooms, no trash cans, so plan accordingly! Tends to get shady in the afternoon. A nice place to go swimming with friends on a hot summer day. Bring a beach towel and get there a bit early if you want prime spots :)

August 6, 2021. Wonderful first visit, mildly busy (Friday 3-5pm), only males were present, will be back!

BE AWARE that the sunset is blocked by the trees, so there isn't much daylight for sunbathing in the evening and the temperature can get quite cool.

There is a steep path down from a small parking area on the side of the road. Do not try to drive down closer to the park as there is no parking. The path is not ADA accessable and there is no restroom at this location. After a short distance down the path is the clothing optional beach. There are no posted nude signs, so most people seem to wait to change until at the beach.

The beach felt very friendly and inclusive. I didn't notice anyone going in and out of the woods together like some of the other nude beaches; still, be safe (whatever your plans may be) and enjoy!

Nude lake

Lovely all-male nude beach on Lake Washington, which is significantly warmer than Puget Sound. Bring old sneakers or flip flips, because the first 10 feet or so at the water’s edge is quite rocky.

It’s an enjoyable place. Try to get there early to claim a spot where it’s sunny. You will see a bunch of skin but the lovely people there do a good job of keeping to themselves.

This is a great hidden beach that you’d never know was even there. Very small and private. Definitely NO clothes required and mostly male, though plenty remain clothed. I’ve never seen anything inappropriate for a public place but this is Seattle. Definitely for people that just want to hang out naked and are confident in their image. I wouldn’t call this a hook up or cruising spot.

Tiny little cute nude beach with views of Bellevue and mountains on a clear day. Usually very gay, but I've seen all genders and sexualities there. Have yet to ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable there, and have seen children happily playing there multiple times. A great place to spend a sunny afternoon.

A small, quiet park with a good view of Bellevue across the lake. It's a lovely spot for sun bathing and light swimming. You'll see lots of birthday suits when the weather's good.

This is another of those tiny parks along Lake Washington Blvd. between Madison and Leschi. It's accessible by foot. Sunny days are popular nudist beach days. Cool misty days are perfect dog-owner days.

Great place to visit to help overcome body image issues. Seeing normal people relaxing in their skin, helps one realize that bodies come in all shapes and sizes and may help yourself view your own body in a more positive and comfortable way.
