Blue Poppy Floral

I recently visited this Blue Poppy and was enchanted by the selection of indoor plants and beautiful florals. The owner, a wonderful lady from our neighborhood, radiates warmth and hospitality. She walks to the store every morning with Charlie. Meeting Charlie her adorable rescue dog, added a delightful touch to the experience. A true gem in our community!

Surpassed all expectation!!! I was on a ship, out in the middle of the Pacific, when I emailed Blue Poppy Floral to arrange some flowers for my Wife and Daughter at my Change of Command. All I said was, "I need something pretty and portable and my budget is $200 a Bouquet." That was it besides some back and forth on pick-up dates and times. The result was absolutely spectacular and I honestly kept my expectations low, based on similar experiences with other florists in the past. But not Blue Poppy, clearly they have higher standards and know what they are doing. I will always use them for all of my future Seattle flower needs. Which probably aren't many, but wish they were closer to DC!

I just love this place. The shop owner shop owner beautiful Deb just reminded me that we have been friends for 3 years. Who would have thought one day my grandma says let's go over to this flower shop and check it out that mysteriously it would bring about a beautiful friendship.

Not only do they have amazing souls but they have the most beautiful flowers that you can find in my opinion in the wedgewood neighborhood and you know what I can probably safely challenge that and say surrounding neighborhoods.

I'm really excited and proud for them especially because they just opened up a bigger location next door. You don't know how much joy it makes me feel to see them go from there to where they are now. What flower shop can you go to get some advice or just event and cried out and then when you leave you feel so much better.

My apologies that I'm always coming in needing therapy or counseling but I appreciate yall "talking me off the ledge" every time.

So I said all this to say…. if you're in the wedgewood area and you want to be pleased with every single flower selection you leave out of there with definitely go see the fabulous fabulous ladies at Blue Poppy Floral 💙

Diep and the store do such a lovely job. We've gotten bouquets from her for years now and they are always beautiful. Also some nice arrangements for a memorial service recently. Plus Diep is super nice, accommodating, and goes the extra mile (including re-opening the store one time when I totally lost track of time and got there late). Blue Poppy Floral has been a wonderful addition to our neighborhood.

I have nothing but compliments for Diep and Blue Poppy Floral! I’ve ordered several bouquets for delivery over the last few years and every time the end result is beautiful and truly special. She even went out of her way to accommodate a last-minute delivery. Highly recommend!

Diep is so wonderful to work with. She is quick to respond and great at putting flower arrangements together. Diep created the most beautiful bouquet and centerpieces for my wedding. I would recommend going to her for any flower needs.

My boyfriend got me a bouquet from here and I loved it so much I had to leave a review. The colors are gorgeous and the arrangement is beautiful. Would highly recommend!

I walked in 10 minutes before closing looking for a bouquet for my mother in law and was greeted by the friendliest staff who whipped me up the most GORGEOUS bouquet! She asked what my MIL liked and effortlessly incorporated her preferences, all with a smile. You can tell the owner truly loves what she does. The shop also has a lovely assortment of soaps, lotions, bath salts, greeting cards, planters, house plants, etc (all locally sourced!). I’m so glad to have found an awesome local florist for all my gift and everyday needs!

The owner is quick to respond, her bouquets are always beautiful, and has great prices. She allowed me to pick up flowers when she was closed on Monday, gave me a free vase to match after mine didn't fit, and packed it for safe travel in the car. Also got to pick a paper crane to top it off. This is my second bouquet from Blue Poppy Floral and now my go-to neighborhood spot for flowers. 😁👍

Blue Poppy Floral is run by some of the friendliest, kindest people you'll meet. The mother and daughter are very helpful and very knowledgeable about the plants too. My partner and I were also floored by their generosity. The money tree we got was beautiful and we got some great tips from the mother on how to take care of it. Overall, the plants in the store were in great shape and there was a wide variety to choose from. The floral bouquets were also beautiful and will keep them first in my mind for bouquets too. As far as I'm concerned, they are my go-to for floral needs going forward. I can't wait to come back!

What an absolute delight this place is. Diep (Deb) is truly a wonderful person and delight to work with. I called her to tell her my sister in law was having surgery and told her a couple basic things about her and she worked up the most wonderful arrangement. It was not just beautiful but thoughtful in the approach to not be to aromatic (with her recent surgery) and also an easy to care for plant that would last much longer. She also threw in a few healing crystals. Her attention to detail, genuine kindness and passion for what she does has made me a client for life. Call Diep today, she will not disappoint you.

Incredible customer service, and BEAUTIFUL floral arrangement. I called about 24 hours in advance which was no problem for them, and they created a beautiful and very custom arrangement for a friend. They asked what her hobbies and interests were and made an arrangement that was reflective of those hobbies! Truly incredible, and such a smooth process. I will be going back to this place as much as I can!

I gave the challenge to make a bouquet that would remind my wife of her wedding bouquet using the website. Diep is very responsive to messages. She spent the next morning with multiple vendors to find the right flowers. She delivered the arrangement that same day. The photo doesn't do justice. It is beautiful! My wife loves it! I am really glad to have found Blue Poppy Floral. I had a chance to stop by earlier that day. It's a wonderful place!

Someone sent me a bouquet from Blue Poppy and it was really one of the loveliest arrangements I have ever received (see photo for evidence). The special touches of the beautiful card choice, the origami paper crane, and the flower choice really made it feel special. I will be returning for my flower needs in the future. A really beautiful shop with incredibly helpful staff. I just moved to the city and needed to get flowers for my fiancé's birthday. The woman working was able to help me curate such a beautiful arrangement. I'm so happy I went here.

Deb, the owner of Blue Poppy Floral, came to our rescue today. We have a dear friend whose father is suddenly critically ill, and we wanted to send a special arrangement of flowers to her. Deb stepped up with a beautiful arrangement of a dozen Tiara (David Austin antique premium) roses, cream spray roses, wax flowers, and three types of eucalyptus. She also wrote out the card for us (we phoned in the order). Then she went out herself after closing time and personally delivered the arrangement within 90 minutes of our placing the call! We are grateful beyond words. Thank you, Deb, so much! They were dearly appreciated!
