Big Eye Japanese Cuisine & Sushi Bar

Under specialties, peanut chicken. Vegetables seasoned with I think a little toasted sesame oil.
I also tried Hot Spicy Lime Shrimp Soup (on the whiteboard).
On previous visits I had
Drunken stirfry,
Thai red curry,
Thai spicy seafood hot pot (bowl, with noodles).
Lisa served me. Lastly, Reagan.
Jazz playing, not too loud. Big Eye sign inside custom art with moving colored lights. Casual but not too casual.

Big Eye is great. The sushi place in the valley is closed on Sunday night so I decided to try out Big Eye. The sushi was very good. I went with the alaska, spicy tuna, california, and the butterfly rolls. The Butterfly Roll is tempura salmon, spicy crab, cream cheese, cucumber, topped with mango, eel sauce and mango sauce. So gooooood!

Close to our new place, staff so nice, kids friendly.. fresh sashimi and sushi just seaweed on sushi is not quite fresh they're not crispy.

But lovely place to take family out for dinner.

Facilities is clean and separate door din-in and to go order I like it.

Definitely go back again!!

We've ordered takeout for the work crew here a few times now. Everything has been great every time. Plenty of options for everyone (we have a couple vegans and they have no issues ordering). Take out has always been on time, orders correct, and helpful staff. I can't speak for the dining in experience yet, but definitely recommend for take out!

This is the third time we have eaten here and everything, every time, has been amazing!!

Ok…back again (03.19.2023). This time we tried a couple new things - the Tuna Poke Bowl and the Drunken Chicken Stir Fry. Absolutely delicious!!!!!

Big Eye is a hidden gem. This has been my family’s favorite sushi spot for years. The chefs are talented and the serving staff is great too - they take the time to answer our questions even when the restaurant looks busy. We often crave their Tom Yum soup and stir fried dishes. This time we tried the Y&J appetizer, the Oh Yeah roll and the Spicy Girl roll and we’re extremely pleased. Come try it - it’s truly the best around!

This place is AMAZING! The service is great and the food is wonderful! We have introduced lots of people to good Sushi and they all have loved it. It's worth your money and time.

Everything we had was super good. From the Thai iced tea to the sushi and the Singapore noodles w/ beef and the pineapple fried rice IN the pineapple which was amazing. The sushi we had was called “pretty woman” and “crazy house”. The service was amazing and she was super nice and explained everything perfectly.

All I can say is WOW! Fast and friendly customer service. I truly came to try the sushi because of the reviews and I'm glad I did! The atmosphere is even relaxing with spa like music, open ventilation and the perfect lighting. The tables are spaced out for social distancing and everything was very clean. Highly recommend to check it out!

We came on valentine's day unexpectedly. Although I was there during lunch they wouldn't let me get the lunch specials ... Kind of a jerk move if you ask me conning for more money on a Hallmark holiday. The crab rangoons were the smallest I've ever had in my life I do not recommend. Other than that my dish and sushi was very good. While it was good I most likely won't be back again.

Waitress was wonderful and answered all our questions. What she didnt know she asked and let us know (: its a small restraunt but the authenticity and quality of the sushi is the best ive had yet! I got the spider roll and the fried crab was still hot even after it was rolled and brought to me. I especially loved the whimsical plates 😊

Have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and no matter what other place I try this one is still my number one pick. The Yellowtail is delicious and all the fish always tastes so fresh. I highly recommend to any sushi lover I come in contact with!

I personally loved the food but wish the atmosphere be a little brighter and inviting. The food is amazing. Perfect for someone who loves to eat Japanese food.

Really great lunch specials! I haven’t had a single meal that I didn’t love. The wait staff is always very friendly. Sometimes it can be slow, but thats a rare occasion & I don’t mind, just want others to be aware. Highly recommend coming here

I came here from California to visit family, and this has by far been the best sushi I have ever had. My waitress was super nice and my family and I enjoyed all the food, both the entrees and the sushi. I will make sure to come back next time I visit. I definitely recommend this place.

I've never had a bad experience here! I love the miso soup, it was flavorful and fresh. Their sashimi special was great and had a good variety of fish that I don't see at other places. The service was great and I love the atmosphere.

Although I've had plenty of sushi in my life, this is the first actual sushi restaurant I've ever visited. With that being said, I thought everything was excellent!
The restaurant seemed very clean, and masks were required while walking around, and strongly encouraged when not eating.
My boyfriend and I each ordered two rolls, I'll edit to include the names of each roll once I remember.
We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive, and everything tasted so fresh. We would definitely visit again.
