Dr Sciaroni operated on my torn meniscus in Oct 8th 2015. I waited until now to write a review as I wanted to ensure that I am able to resume all outdoor physical activities that I used to do prior to the tear.
I started to ski again at Heavenly on Thanksgiving day 2015 . I skied for a total of 30 days this season. Two weeks ago I ran my first race since the op. No problems at all.
Excellent surgeon, excellent bedside manners and most importantly, excellent results.

Dr. Laura Sciaroni is very professional, relatable and listens to what I am saying. She works with me to figure out the issues and create a treatment plan that I understand. She takes the time to explain and answers questions until I am satisfied with my treatment plan. I highly recommend her.

Almost zero waiting time in reception area and examination room. Dr. Sciaroni is great - provides clear and simple explanations for the diagnosis, treatment plan, and prognosis. I've seen her for several issues and have always been happy with her care.

Dr. Sciaroni was a miracle find. I had this shoulder problem from years of volleyball but was too afraid to do anything about it. Dr. Sciaroni talked me through my options, answered all my questions, and...surgery was not the first option recommended. Imagine that - a surgeon NOT recommending surgery.

Now thanks to her, let's say I'm back in the "swing" of things - loving life and volleyball again.

Dr. Sciaroni has treated both my wife (broken foot) and me (broken ankle) in the past size months, and both of us had a fantastic experience. She's the best.

She diagnosed and fixed an interior torn miniscus on me (a 50+ year old female) and with her skills & a good physical therapist, I was back on the courts playing tennis in 9 weeks.

Worker's Comp. claim and she did a wonderful job for them. Claim is denied and now I have to "fight it" ... Old claim was for neck and R shoulder and new claim with her was L shoulder, she literally told me to go to Physical Therapy and said "whatever they do for the right do for the left" really? I had surgery already on the right shoulder and presented no symptoms, it was neck and L shoulder and she kept incorporating her chart notes for the L shoulder claim all together whit the other claim when she knew it was all separate and it had to be done that way. Saw her at her satellite office in Daly City because is 7 minutes away from home, it's an old building, it smells when you walk in the office, it's cold and everything in there is so old and dusty you're afraid to set your belongings anywhere. Her visits if they lasted 15 minutes was too long, waste of time and energy. Not necessarily looking to have surgery but I felt so like a just a "claim" to her and her staff is the same. No eye contact, they didn't have a release of medical records to sign on site and I finally got one days later, I never got the records and when I left my FMLA paperwork to be signed, it was not scanned into my chart and so there was no record of her signing it and what's worse, her office Manager for her San Francisco office had the audacity to lie and say that the doctor in fact did sign it and that she had mail it but that it got lost in the mail so, the other front desk person helped me and I had to start over with that process and get the doctor to sign it and when she did she signed it for 3 weeks, as if I'm going to be "cured" in 3 weeks when I have been dealing with this injury for years. I'm transferring care now to another Provider and since I've signed the release form already asked to have my records faxed ( I work in a big Hospital Institution so I know about HIPPA Standards) and I was told they don't fax records so I have to wait to get them and hopefully they don't get lost in the mail AGAIN. I am dying to see her response to this review, by reading others, she has a smart answer to the bad reviews.
