A hidden gem in Arlington. This chic little cafe will make you smile when you walk in. Love their interior decor and the menu wall. I absolutely love their outdoor sitting area, especially when it's a beautiful fall weather. It is a perfect place to read, work, or just hang out. My favorite is their house drip coffee, but other drinks are amazing too :)

Simona Cafe is a charming little establishment, but parking can be a bit of a hassle due to its limited availability. However, once inside, the cozy atmosphere is inviting.

Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by a strong, enticing aroma of coffee that jolted me awake. The scent alone was enough to energize my senses.

I got the house drip coffee. It didn't disappoint. The coffee was smooth, providing the perfect morning pick-me-up.

To balance out the caffeine, I also ordered an iced rooibos tea latte. It was a delightful choice. What stood out was that the tea flavor was not overpowering, allowing the other elements of the latte to shine through. It was a refreshing and satisfying beverage.

The house drip coffee and iced rooibos tea latte were both satisfying choices, and I look forward to returning to explore more of their menu.

Despite limited parking, it's a great place to start your day or enjoy a quiet morning moment.

Great coffee, one of the best places to get a good chai in DC, and loved the focaccia bread toast options, almost forgot to snap a pic!

Fantastic lavender lemon scones with chunks of candied lemon inside, excellent tea, friendly people, easy to work from - and actual glasses and plates instead of single use plastic dining in! ❤

A great place for coming alone or with small groups!
It's cool that they offer all kinds of beverages from coffee to wine, and the happy hour for alcohol is from 3pm to close.

Great cafe with very nice ambiance! Their house-made focaccia they use for their sandwiches is delightful, and their Topo Chico with Strawberry purée is so refreshing on a hot day! Love stopping here with my dog and sitting on their pet-friendly patio.

I cannot say enough about the absolute deliciousness of every single morsel we had. The food is fresh, scrumptious and truly made with love. The pastries are out OF THIS WORLD!!!! Thank you to the friendly staff and incredible owner who made our experience memorable.

A gem!

Hands down, the BEST buttermilk biscuit I’ve ever had. They don’t skimp on the size, it’s fluffy inside and the outside is crunchy but soft, and if you get it right out of the oven, your life will change. This is my new weekly treat. I am lactose intolerant, but this is my exception. Also, the Wilson sandwich and spiced apple cider are divine.

The best coffee in Washington DC is also available in Arlington! It's great to have top-tier specialty coffee in Northern Virginia, finally. The coffee, usually a light roast, is delicious. And the food -- biscuits and cinnamon rolls especially -- is just as good. Baristas are super friendly and knowledgeable, and it's a great place to hang out and talk or get work done while the music plays lightly in the background. Make sure to stop in for a cup!

I just wanted some plain drip coffee. It was amazing! And the apple butter scone was the best scone I've ever had.

This review is purely based on the Ethiopian single origin Americano I ordered. It was simply so delicious. It’s not very often that I come across a coffee shop that is able to make Americanos well, but Sweet Science really hit mark! One thing I noticed almost immediately is that they were very intentional about the quality of water they use in making their drinks. I work as a barista myself and I do my own research on these topics, and water plays a massive role in the overall brewing process and the final cup! *Backstory: I was originally trying to order a pour over, but due to some some short-staffing issues, they had to pause the offering :/ I hope they’re able to bring that option back soon!!
