Dr. Roza Hassen M.D.

Although as the other person indicated the waiting time is above average, but it much worth it because Dr. West is a very responsible, professional and thoughtful health provider I've ever experienced. She always take the time to get to know her patients, understand their health concerns and provide excellent quality of care. Extremely recommended!

Dr. Hassen is my primary care doctor and I have been going to her for over a year. Dr. Hassen is kind and compassionate and she has always kept me at ease when counseling me on my health and when providing options for me to achieve optimal health. I highly recommend Dr. Hassen!

The wait to see Dr. West and is extremely worth it. She truly does listen to your questions and concerns and before she leave the room, she makes sure you have gotten all of the answers you need. She does not rush you through the appointment.

I love how attentive and comprehensive dr west is with her patients. I agree that the office personnel may be more attentive to waiting patients. But the professionalism of Dr West is worth all the wait.

As someone who has been a patient of Dr. Hassen for years, I strongly advise against seeing her. While she is friendly, sweet, and attentive, she is just a TERRIBLE physician. Her judgment is usually off, and she can't figure out what medicine to prescribe. I can't elaborate on all the times her medical opinions turned out to be just plain wrong for privacy purposes. You are seriously better off seeing a nurse practitioner than her.

Normal business practice according to her staff include over one and a half hours wait minimum with each appointment! My first appointment I came 15 minutes early as instructed by her office. I waited another 45 minutes then asked how much longer it would be they said another 45 minutes. At no time did anyone approach me to inform me of any time issue although they knew I was waiting. I rescheduled appointment. Second appointment showed up a few minutes before appointment time, desk person told me it would be 45 minutes. I waited ONE HOUR then asked when the doctor would take me. The person at the desk said the doctor knew I was the rescheduled appointment but it would be at least another 45 minutes.Again at no time did anyone approach me to inform me. TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME! NEVER has anyone called to apologize.
I am a VERY patient person but this was unbelievablly rude. This doctor should be required to take a time management and best business practices course. This does not look good for Inova that she represents!

It costs me $150 for the Dr. to tell me things I already know. Needed a referral to a spinal specialist, $150. I've got ring worm, $150. Waste my time, and money. Find somewhere else to go where they care about your health, not your money.
