The server is incredibly kind and happy to share his culture and food, and the atmosphere is welcoming.

There is a ramp on the side, and plenty of seats and tables with space to walk or roll.

I recommend the MANY empanadas too!!!

During my visit yesterday while I was waiting for my car at Auto Plus, I stumbled upon Zaruma Gold Coffee, and what a delightful find it was! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the warm and professional lady, standing out for her exceptional service. The ambiance was just perfect for settling in with a good book or catching up with friends, offering a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that's hard to find elsewhere.

Not only is their coffee top-notch, but their LAVENDER TEA 💜is a soothing delight, and the egg sandwich is deliciously satisfying – a must-try for anyone visiting. It's the combination of great food, excellent drinks, and the overall positive vibes that make sitting here such a unique and enjoyable experience.

Love this place. Why go to Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts when you could support an endeavor and a project like this? The food is always fun and different and interesting.

Me encanta este café ecuatoriano 🥰 I ordered a medium cappuccino and a sausage egg and cheese. Prices are excellent and the interior is beautiful. I love the art and artisanal Ecuadorean items for sale. There are plenty of tables to work and the wifi is easy to connect to and reliable. Muchísimas gracias y nos vemos pronto!

Our first visit here and all of the great things we have heard about the service and food are true. Prices are reasonable for great quality goods and the outdoor seating on a warm November weekend day is a bonus. We will be regulars. Thank you!

Wide selection of vegetarian empanadas which was thrilling. Got spinach & feta and rice & beans. delicious all around. Plenty of space to sit. Free wifi. Good vibes all around

Empanadas and chai are great. Friendly, genuinely smiling staff. Nice “positive vibes” interior with art.

And their other baked goods looked sooo goood! Definitely coming back to try those.

This place as a lot to offer to the neighborhood. Friendly staff and wide menu of items to choose from. The coffee is good and if look forward to exploring more of the baked goods in the future. I'm sure this place will be a neighborhood hotspot when the pandemic subsides.

I got a drink and it was very delicious. They seem to have a wide verity of snacks and sandwiches. The staff were very nice, I’ll definitely go back.

Really tasty coffee for less than $2. Fast WiFi and cozy outdoor patio. I recommend the cheese filled Russian crepe (blinchiki)

A cute cafe with a good amount of seating. Had a scone and latte. Both were good but especially enjoyed the scone. Next time I’m in I need to try the empanadas. Very bright inside and well decorated. There are also Ecuadorian crafts for sale.

This little café is one of the new gems in the Boston area, in every aspect. It is clean, it is well decorated, it has a happy environment, it makes you relax, it makes you feel home. This is a place to enjoy a good coffee with an empanada, they also have pastries, desserts and a variety of fruits, and drinks. Did you like the coffee? Take it home! They sell the Ecuadorian coffee (whole beans and ground) and different souvenirs. I personally tried their coffee, two different empanadas, and I took a crepe cake prepared by the owners, I like them all. The cake was low in added sugar, which I love! I could taste the actual flavors. I stayed there for over an hour to feel the environment. Rocio and Vlad are great hosts; visit them and enjoy a moment at their lovely coffee place.
Parking was a little tricky. I had to leave my car on Highland avenue and walk three blocks since all parking around the coffee are for residents only.

It’s an independent cafe run by a nice looking couple. They’ve got a good selection of baked goods, including babka an European cakes. They have a Latvian honey cake (they’re calling it “American Dream Cake”). I bet it’s the only place in Boston you can try it? It has this nice, dense texture, that’s both creamy and a little crumbly. And there are little meringues on top which add to the nice texture contrasts. I didn’t get to try the empanadas, but they looked really good.

Honestly the nicest coffee place I’ve been to, super nice staff, great food and drinks, and they have the most beautiful Ecuadorian jewelry pieces!

We came here twice, two days in a row. The empenadas were delicious and the woman at counter, I'm assuming the owner, was wonderful. Really sweet to my two boys and patient while we asked all the questions about the food. The coffee was delicious also. Highly recommend.

stumbled upon this lovely cafe whilst walking my dog in the area (I'm not from Somerville), so I didn't quite know where to go tbh. I'm glad I stopped by and to get my coffee fix. excellent service, ambience and clean environment. I don't know if the person who served me was the owner, but either way he provided excellent service. I love when cafes cater to patrons with dogs, they have a huge box of dog treats by the cashier. I did some computer work while my pup was inside with me, he then proceeded to bring out a slice of cheese for her. sorry for the ramble but I was so touched by his kindness - thank you so much! I'll definitely be back.

Adorable little cafe run by a sweet man. Food portions here are quite big. Lots of seating most of the time; it’s a little bit of a hidden gem. Iced drinks are a bit tastier than hot drinks.
