Cute & Cozy! Yummy cup cakes, macaroons and breakfast sandwiches! All types of coffee and tea too! And the puddings! Friendly service with ample seating. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place! I took an order to go of macaroons. Price was fair, macaroons were extremely delicious (I received complements from my friends) and the staff was nice and hands on to get my order quickly.

Cutest place! They have phenomenal selection of flavors and pastries and an innovative menu. Everything’s quite colorful and flavorful. Very reasonably priced IMO. Get the macarons!

Bakeshop does NOT do wedding cakes but that didn't stop us! We did the stacking and made it happen. I stacked one of Bakeshop's Xtreme Sprinkles cake on top of Bakeshop's Xtreme Cookie Dough cake to make an Xtreme barrel wedding cake that tasted and looked better than any other wedding cake we tried. The cakes were delicious and everyone loved our creative and unique wedding cake.

Throughout the process, we tried many of Bakeshop's cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other delicious treats and all are very well made, made with love, and extremely delicious. Cake is not dry and cupcakes actually have a normal type of frosting so they aren't a solid piece of butter. All the employees are very welcoming, high energy, fun, and friendly. The people who work at Bakeshop seem to enjoy what they do. Highly recommend Bakeshop!

Please note, Bakeshop does NOT do wedding cakes. They made that very clear. So we ordered two cakes and I made it into a wedding cake myself because we wanted their cakes on our wedding day so we made it happen. It worked perfectly for us but your experience may vary.

Great local bakery. Love the cookie ice cream sandwiches. (The ginger snap ones are my favorite) The oaty chocolate chip cookies are my favorite in the area. Macaroons are a great treat and they do a lovey cake. Always friendly service.

Ordered a birthday cake for my sister and the staff were absolutely lovely. Although I was unable to try it, my sister said the taro cake was delicious and it’s now her favorite dessert. Planning to stop by and try for myself when I’m in the area. Fairly priced for the high quality of product.

I went here and got a breakfast sandwich and cupcake. The sandwich was delicious, warm croissant, ham, egg and cheese. The staff were friendly and polite, and there were about 8 or so seats and tables inside.

Parking in the street immediately outside, not overly crowded and efficient service. I will certainly be going back.

I wanted to try a new cupcake spot, so I traveled to VA from MD. This place was definitely worth the hour drive. OMG!! The cupcakes were so good, but the cookies were out of this world!!! If you are a cookie lover like myself, you are going to put them at the very top of your cookie list! I promise you! I only got two cookies, but next time go I promise you I going to get 8!! 😋 And I promise you, I am not going to share!! 🤪 (I don’t have a picture of the cookies because I ate them so fast!)

One of my favorite new finds in Virginia! This is the Taro whipped cream cake (taro cake and taro whipped cream), known to me as a piece of heaven. I’ve never seen this at another bakery but these guys deserve a reward. Light and moist, not overwhelming and kept you wanting more. The Bakeshop has an endless menu of must haves. Other favs are the peanut butter-Nutella pudding and the key lime pie.

The cakes. The cookies. The cakes. The cakes. The Cakes. My God what I wouldn’t give to be able to eat it everyday. Delicious and they give good portion sizes too!

My new favorite bakery. Haven't tried good baked goods like this in a very long time. Vegan or not! I ate the vegan options. Carrots cupcake and Ginger snap cream pie.

Got a selection of 6 cupcakes from here, and we were impressed. The cakes are generally light, with the chocolate ones a little more dense. Flavors are on point, and these are not overly sweet. They're just right! The line up based on favorite was 1. Coconut Pandan 2. Strawberry shortcake 3. Red velvet with butter cream 4. Vegan chocolate strawberry 5. Devil's food 6. Salted caramel chocolate. Still would live to try the taro, so next time. Thank you Chris for helping me make my selection!!!

One of the best bakeshops I have been to in the DMV area. Feel like this place is a hidden gem! I really liked how this bakeshop carry the usual American baked goods then also have Asian flavors-- which was a shocker as soon as I saw taro cake slices and cupcake!! They also have a limited quantity of Vietnamese Coffee cake slices. Their red velvet cupcake is on point and their banana pudding is sooo good-- one of the best I have had though it was a bite pricey for the size. Cupcake and cake icing was also not too overly sweet. Service was quick and friendly.Highly recommend everything I have had so far: red velvet cupcake, taro cake, Vietnamese Coffee cake, tres leches cake and banana pudding.

Would definitely come back when strolling around Clarendon.

Rich and wholesome cookies, cupcakes and other desserts. They also have cakes made to order for special occasions. Our favorite is their "Oreo in a blanket" which is an Oreo wrapped inside cookie dough and they heat it up for you. Not only is it delicious , but our cat's name is actually Oreo so we thought we'd add this picture of Oreo in a blanket.

the shop itself is already really cute. there’s a good variety of desserts there also. i got red velvet cupcakes and honestly they’re really good I love it! i would definitely come here again soon to try other treats that they have. and another one the price is really good for cupcakes it is buy 5 get one free :) I would totally recommend coming to this place for treats and desserts!

The variety of baked goods is insane! The flourless gluten free chocolate brownie is a must have! 😋

The cakes are really cute and they tasted delicious. I got the sesame cake and the coconut cream cupcake and they were awesome! The sesame cake really had the sesame flavor in it and it was not overly sweet.

AMAZING!! They have alot to choose from. We had the oreo cake, peanut butter creme cake and a their staple, the chocolate chip cookie, all incredibly delicious and priced well. Definitely get something from here, you won't be disappointed.
