Barnes & Noble

Beautiful, spacious store with a wide range of stock. Slightly picked bare due to Boxing Day sales, but otherwise well worth a visit!

I had some free time and visited the cafe located inside Barnes & Noble. The hot macha tea with coconut milk is lovely. I also had a slice of Mediterranean quiche, which was also tasty and fresh.

This is a legitimately good Barnes & Noble. I’ve been here many times and have frequently found interestings. It’s legitimately one of my 2 Go To B&N locations to find Books and stuff.
Also the staff is very helpful. Even when they don’t have what I’m looking for, they’re more than willing to help me find out what near by location might.
Like I said earlier I’ve been here many times and will likely come back many more.

Quaint neighborhood bookstore, locals, and friends all gathered here. It's a staple in the neighborhood. They also have one of the best selections of children's toys. You don't even have to go to another toy store!

Large collection of fiction. Also good amount of non fiction book (history and current affairs. Register to be a member, need to pay $25 for a year and you’ll get 20% discount from your first purchase and 10% after that. Btw I love their Harry Potter corner

Our GPS wasn’t working on a recent roadtrip. Staff were so helpful with finding us real roadmaps! They also guided us over the phone to their store and had the maps waiting by the register for us. Very nice people.

I love a good brick and mortar book store.

Barnes and Noble is a chain store and is a legacy chain dating back to before the rise of Amazon. As such, they are a bit of an anachronism since they are a large format, broad spectrum book store.

Regardless, I love to be able to pace the stacks, looking for my next great read. Then take a prospective purchase to a comfy chair and read a few pages to see if it is right for me.

The store is clean and well organized. The two story floor plan is great and feels wide open and welcoming.

My only complains that the chairs are unpadded wood vice truly comfortable, but I can see why they would want to make that route.

We, of course, left with books.

Highly recommended.

Please do not leave this area because of some big real estate investors. Love you guys here, need you guys here! Value so much of what you guys bring to the community, to bookworms.

We love, love, love Barnes and Noble!! We can find great books, relax and read, and even buy food if we get hungry. The store is always clean and staff are always friendly and helpful.

I love having a library with physical books. The kids section upstairs is great!

This Barnes and Noble is great for book lovers. It still feels like the way most B&N stores used to.
Due to changing times it seems many Barnes and Noble bookstores have had to change to broaden their appeal to a larger audience at the expense of downsizing their book collections and having more areas dedicated to toys, games, calendars, etc.
I mean I get it. These changes may be somewhat necessary for the B&N chain to stay viable, but at the same time I can't help but miss the more bookish stores with their huge chairs and delicate music.

This store still has as lot of that old feel for me and when I brought my mom, she loved it and wanted to stay for hours walking the aisles, reading in chairs, and visiting the cafe on the first floor.

If you know what I'm talking about, this is a really nice B&N, so stop in and have a casual afternoon or evening like old times.

Since it's in the heart of bustling Arlington, finding a meal afterwards won't be hard.

My first time to visit the Clarendon store since COVID. It was always my favorite Barnes & Noble store in Northern Virginia. It's still is a great store with plenty of unique merchandise, books, music & magazines.

This place is, put simply, a paradise. The available books are awesome, they have great products like a variety of notebooks, tote bags, CDs, etc. I think no matter your taste you can find something here. And the staff is there to help! They are not only very kind but also have great knowledge about everything in the bookstore.
