Providence Park

A cute little park behind an apartment complex. Has porta potties available (one of which is disability friendly) in the parking lot and the lot itself is a good size. Two climbing gyms, tennis courts, a soccer field, two swing sets with four swings each (one set has two baby swings) and a large covered pavilion with many picnic tables. Small trails loop around the soccer field and tennis courts and there are trash cans available everywhere including on the trail. Very pretty and we will be visiting again!

This park was a great accidental find. We were at GMU to pick up our "Cache of the Day” on a Wednesday morning in May and decided to get our 4000 steps in the beautiful neighborhood across University Drive. As we walked the neighborhood we saw a path that led to Providence Park. What a nice surprise. We even met a couple of super friendly neighborhood dogs in the park. There are trails for hiking and strolling, and nice playground equipment, and a picnic pavilion, tennis courts, and an open field and a parking lot. What more could you want?

Lots of trees and shade for this small but good park for kids. There is also grill area and covered picnic benches . Nice area to spent 2-3 hrs.

A nice park near Gorge Mason University with diversified sport facilities, trails in the woods, and playground

Beautiful area, you can play there with friendly people and have a fun day there.

Good place for walking and playing. Kids zone is available for kids. People can bring their pets. We can hang out during holidays and weekends grill section equipment is in the park. Football ground is available for teems and youth can spend their time to enjoy here. Along with these tennis court is there in the park for people to pratice and have fun. Parking is available for people. Overall I loved it and I enjoy the nature one or the other day whenever I visit Providence Park.

A small and simple hidden gem. Playground is well shaded, Pavillion is in good shape for events, and there is a nice big field for multiple groups to play on.

What a great park/playground!! Plenty of shady and sunny areas. 2 levels of play equipment for all ages. Bucket swings are a hit with toddlers. The shelter is perfect for picnics. Tennis courts and a soccer field are nearby.

Super fun park for kids of all ages. Trails and fields to play sports. Lots of shade in the summer. Only a porta potty. No bathroom.

Great park with multiple swing sets. There is plenty of shade with all the trees and big pavilion. Perfect for kids birthday parties (we've been to two here) and enough parking. It is a bit hidden in a neighborhood but that just adds to the charm.

Providence Park has a wonderful open field for running. The covered pavilion is a great place for a picnic. They have a couple of grills on the grounds that can be used to barbeque. There are two playgrounds that are fun for children of all ages. I would definitely recommend this place for groups of 25-75 people.

Just see the video of a clear view. Up kept well. Easy access. They have a few things to do.
To name a few: a playgrounds per age group (big kids little kids), swings, tennis courts, an open field, a sit down covered eatting area, and BBQ area. I think a big position that is overlooked is that it is well shaded / covered by trees.

Really good park for kids. There's a nice playground and a park for kids to have fun. The tennis courts here are pretty good although the courts don't have lights. The parking lot has accessible parking spots as well.

Great play ground. The kids also loved the rocks to climb on.
