San Lorenzo Library

I always love the library even when I was a child. I love reading books and the library is the place where our imagination will run wild, tickle our curiosity and brings our mind to different places that we haven't been before. Being in a library is truly an adventure. Hope kids and our young adults will have the zest in exploring the library. The San Lorenzo Library is one of my happy places. I can stay there and forget about the time. One remarkable thing about the San Lorenzo library is their staff. They have these special group of individuals that makes your San Lorenzo Library experience an exemptional one. They are not only friendly just to say they are friendly but you can feel their genuine willingness to help and will go an extra mile to make sure your needs had been addressed properly. Your visit to the place will not be the last. Different activities are being held here like watercoloring lessons, food bank sometimes make this their venue and you should always check their bulletin board for future fun activities and the latest happenings in the area. I encourage everyone to visit the San Lorenzo Library. Bring tour kids

Used to go here for homework help, books and other things. Recently I did a free needle felting class with my mom and boyfriend. It was fun.

Wow...very quiet ...nobody yelling and noisy racket in the background - only my cat in the bag talking to me? Am I in the twilight zone?

Nice, quiet, & clean library. Many resources available if you really seek.
Younger staff are mostly helpful if you are not passed off to another staff member. I would rather wait than being "rudely" passed to an associate;but as an afterthought, yes, I would not wantna rude staff member's assistance.

The library is small and cozy.

Bathrooms are to the left when you walk in.

Kind of tricky getting here you either have to go down paseo grande and turn into the fire dept. Library is behind the fire dept or walk behind straw hat pizza to find a section of the fence open to walk through

Close to the line 97 bus stop about a block away.

They have computer stations. You can check out laptops. Staff are very nice this is a Alameda county library.

Comfy chairs and furniture

Small parking lot but nice places to sit outside with table and chairs.

One of the hidden gems in the east bay. Nice quiet library. Hidden behind a shopping center.

Overall I had great experience

Also my question is if you get a item and it got broken are you allowed to check out another item if a different item gets lost or damaged??

Great event today for kids! My son absolutely went crazy with the police car ok display!

Wonderful place. Restrooms tend to be dirty often. Most of the staff is great, friendly and helpful. Except for one particular Male. (He should leave if is not happy there assisting and answering questions)

My experience so far has been exceptional ! Originally I went there on a whim as it was actually open on a Sunday. Since then I have gone there to use their computers, and laptops. And I have found many DVD resources that are also exceptional, my two favorites being the Fringe TV series and an outstanding miniseries called America. Muscle cars. Outztanding Library the people are friendly the resources are great and need to spend up to four hours on a computer

Although the area is small, it is very neat and clean, quiet and harmonious. The staff are also very helpful and polite.

Very friendly and helpful staff, haven't been there in a few years and they assisted me on my quick visit there today to get some things printed :)

This library saved my life during the pandemic with the no contact pickup program. I have been a patron for over 35 years and appreciate the professional of the employees.

I love this place because the people are friendly and helpful! Also, they offer guest passes which alot of other libraries don't!
