Bye Bye Stress Massage

The atmosphere is nothing special, but don't let that fool you because WOW the massage service was excellent! My masseuse was super intuitive and focused on my problem areas.
This is not a "spa" experience but it was very relaxing and therapeutic.
We called a day ahead to make a reservation for three people for 90 minute deep tissue massages and we were able to secure services for all of us at our requested time.
I would highly recommend this place to others!

My coworker recommended Bye Bye Stress. She told me it was the best massage she ever had. I am so happy I took her advice, it is also the best massage I ever had. My masseuse Lulu was great, very skilled and gave me a very detailed 90 minute deep tissue massage. I was so relaxed and it was just what my body needed. She massaged me from neck to toe. The best!!! I will be coming back for sure. Prices are very reasonable and it is well worth the price. I do not mind the 20% tip that is required, she deserved even more. I recommended Bye Bye Stress to my family and friends. I will try to treat myself at least every other month. Highly pleased!!! I have been to far more fancier places with terrible massages. The facility is clean and they are very professional. A satisfied returning customer. ❤

We have been going to bye bye stress since it was in Clarendon and followed them to their current location (9 years). They are awesome. Pressure is great, the masseuses clearly know their anatomy/pressure points. We always feel great after a massage at bye bye stress. We have even taken visiting family here and they told us it was the best massage they ever had. This place is the real deal.

While vacationing, I developed a pain in my left hip from traveling that made walking a real challenge. I was able to pinpoint the source of the discomfort, and Cindy was nothing short of spectacular in addressing it. I walked out of my session pain free. Book deep tissue with Cindy!! She's amazing!

Very inexpensive, no frills, not much of an atmosphere, but my eyes were closed the whole time, & excellent massage if you want a deep tissue massage with a lot of effort a little pain - excellent massage - this is the place.

I have been going to this massage parlor for a couple of years, and the service is always great! Making appointments are super easy and the location is great! This was my first time coming in since the pandemic, and their COVID protocols were top notch! I felt comfortable the entire and the service was just as amazing as I remembered. My favorite part is always the hot stones. Cindy was great so I highly recommend her! As a dental hygienist, my body takes a toll at work, and I always feel recharged after coming here!

The price of the services aren't bad. I get a two hour couples massage with my husband here and it feels great. When we first came to give it a shot, we did the one hour couples massage where we are in the same room with a curtain between us so that we aren't separated. It kind of reminded me of our couples massage during our honey moon in Cancun, Mexico.

The staff here is great, they definitely get the spots you indicated on the sheet prior to walking into the back for the massage. They take your temperature the moment you walk through the door.

They take pretty good safety measures.

I had a deep tissue massage with focus on my right arm. Arm pain us much improved, and I felt so relaxed after. They followed Covid19 protocols and masks were worn the entire visit. My masseuse did good asking me if I wanted her to apply more pressure or if I wanted her to do a lighter massage. Staff was friendly and prices are very reasonable. I wish I had one of these where I live, I'd come here all the time! Highly recommend!

I have been to this place more than 5 times now and every time I am thinking “why I waited so long to go back?!”
Non only they are very professional and nice but the massages are always perfect! The masseuse always make sure the pressure is good for you and they wait for you at the end with a bottle of water.
The prices are excellent and I was a bit skeptical at the beginning with the kind of massage I will have for this price but seriously it’s AMAZING!
Don’t hesitate more and try it out!

I was blown away by the quality of the massage I received tonight at Bye Bye Stress. Wendy, my masseuse, was extremely skilled and very sensitive to whether she was applying the right pressure. She was both very efficient and thorough, which was impressive. The range of options and prices was also really nice. I will absolutely be returning in the future. For the price, it's a great value.

My go-to place for many years! Consistency counts and I've never had a problem with Bye Bye Stress. Their standard massages include hot stones and their prices are reasonable. No frills, totally relaxing.

Great massages, customer service and prices. They ask for problem areas to focus on and are mindful of using a comfortable amount of pressure. They moved from Clarendon to a new location and the new space is more spacious and laid out nicely. Buy a package- they don't expire and it's a great value. Call ahead for best availability.

Massages are pretty good for the price. Not everyone can afford expensive massages, so this place is great if you need a decent massage. It's one of those places that are staffed with therapists that don't always speak english well so communication is sometimes an issue. They do not have you fill out an intake form and the therapists don't always ask you where you want them to focus on so be sure to be very clear about your muscular issues at the beginning so that they know where to focus. The guy that works the front desk does really care about how your experience was, which I thought was really great.

Bring cash if you can because they charge 5% to use their credit card machine.

I'm still in awe at the massage & it's quality that I received from Lee on yesterday. I've been a walking billboard ever since. Lol. This was my first visit at this location and they definitely made a fantastic lasting impression. I purchased a 90 min deep tissue massage and it was, hands down, the best massage I've gotten in a very long time if not ever. Great prices and customer service. My temp was taken upon walking in and I filled out an intake form specifying my focus areas before heading back. Zero complaints. However, my ONLY feedback would be for the masseuse to either divy up the time evenly between upper and lower extremities or spend more time on the part of the body that needs more focus. As I stated previously, I purchased 90 min. I had only lower back as a focus point for upper extremities and hamstrings, quads and feet for lower extremities. Despite more lower focus points, my masseuse spent 60 min up top and 30 where I had the most issues. So the lower part felt rushed and he actually ran out of time before he got to my feet. He asked if I wanted to buy 30 more min so that he can get to my feet. I said yes bc I felt incomplete without my feet but I do feel as though if the time was managed better he would've been able to cover everything. I happily paid the additional money because the quality of the massage was absolutely SUPERB. I plan to return & buy a package. I highly recommend the deep tissue by Lee. I'm sure they're all great though.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Highly recommend this business for those who are active in the gym and require deep tissue work once a month. My workouts generally improve after 2 days from this massage due to the excellent quality of the massage. Just wish it didn't hurt my wallet that much haha, but I'm happy to pay the price.

Fantastic experience! I received a top-notch massage from a highly-trained masseuse (Cindy). The price is very reasonable because you’re not paying for high rent or other amenities that don’t really matter. Best bang for your buck in NoVa without a doubt!
