Great help always from John, Miss Kim, Betty, and Wodewosen (among others…) at checkout! True, indeed, all the store well stocked, kept very clean inside, and deftly organized to get you in & out quickly.

Big parking lot with plenty of open spots, including those for parcel pickup. With an EZ drop off unidirectional lane right at the entrance also!

During these continued Covidmess times, the finely done employee assistance and quality store management combined together become beneficial and highly important to me and my family! [Yours, too!]

People are very helpful and friendly. This my favorite grocery store in the area.

Friendly staff, well stocked and quick checkout.

Easy access from Eastbound or Westbound Interstate 66. (Glebe Road and Falls Church/Fairfax Drive).
Easy on or off, either direction...
Perfect for those who live in the neighborhood as well as those in the suburbs travelling to or from the District.
Well stocked and nice polite staff in a relatively safe neighborhood with a parking lot that one can actually get a place to park and exit efficiently.

Clean store and easy to get around. Produce section is amazing. All product look like it came in that day. I don't usually buy Delicatessen product, but I have to walk by it during my shopping. Very impressed by the layout. Made me want to buy something that day. Really nice door. Parking is a bit of a hassle because lots of people stop here. Unless you are handicapped you should expect the park far enough away to get your steps in. And if you are handicapped, you may likely get a parking spot but sometimes maybe not.

This has been our neighborhood grocery store for more than 25 years. It keeps getting better and better! We love Safeway.

We order fried and grilled chicken for our big Trinity Presbyterian church events. Everyone loves it.

I really like this store! I visit late at night because there are so few shoppers then, and I have found the manager, clerks, stockers... EVERYBODY.... to be helpful and friendly. A big plus for me is the organic section, which was expanded after a recent remodeling.

I stopped by this store earlier today to purchase some bleach. There were a few people in the store. The Lady Cashier was very friendly and efficient with my transaction. I still have no clue about how the bonus points are accumulated but I managed to pull up my account by using my old phone number. No discounts were applied but I'm guessing that I accumulated some Safeway points that I can redeem laterr. Maybe yes maybe no.

I've always had great service here. Produce is decent and there crab is surprisingly tasty (not over salted).

This Safeway happens to be right next to a Harris Teeter. Normally I would assume that this side by side comparison spells doom for the Safeway over time. I tend to prefer Harris Teeter to Safeway, but this Safeway is a step above. The manager is a great guy, the cashier's are awesome and super helpful, and I personally think that the produce is very good. Not great, but good. The service here is what makes the store worth visiting over Harris Teeter.

This post is based on my experience with the Bakery department. Christen/Kristen is an excellent example of amazing customer service. I just called in hopes of picking up my cake a few hours earlier- she said that unfortunately she hadn't started on my cake just yet but that she could stop what she was doing to get started. I declined as I set the time for 3 hrs. later. I simply loved that she was willing to drop what she was doing to accommodate me. Not to mention, she was very helpful when deciding the design for the cake. :) Thank you Christen/Kristen!

Great customer service. Great teamwork staff. Love this place at 2509 N. Harrison Street and the flowers are a nice haven.

I appreciate all the pharmacists at the Harrison St Safeway. They are all professional, accurate, and give personal attention. Today I want to thank pharmacist Aziza Awol. She patiently answered my questions and helped me obtain quickly a one-time prescription I needed ASAP. She was terrific!

Recently upgraded fixtures and selection. Easy parking. Excellent pharmacy. More reasonable prices than the competition. Been a customer for 33+ years.

Like this store, always have. Clean, they have a ton of choices and reasonable prices. They also have a decent selection of organic items! Definitely recommend.

One of my most favorite grocery stores in the area where I live. Although it may seem a bit small or outdated, this Safeway is always stocked up organized unlike some other stores in Arlington

I am so impressed always with the competence and caring shown by the Safeway on Harrison St., Arlington, VA, pharmacist Tolani Ishola. Everytime I work with her she is quietly thorough. This morning, in particular, she really came through, starting by remembering my name and taking the time to phone me with an important update about a medicine. Superb service!

The selection for specific items is lacking but it fills all the basic grocery story needs that I have.
