Visiting the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a profoundly moving experience that words scarcely do justice. This sacred monument stands as a solemn tribute to the countless men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country, yet whose identities remain unknown.

As you stand in silent reverence before the tomb, watching the changing of the guard with its precision and solemnity, you can't help but feel a profound sense of gratitude and humility.

The immaculate white marble and eternal flame serve as enduring symbols of remembrance and honor, reminding us of the sacrifices made by those who gave their lives for the cause of freedom.

It's impossible to visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier without being deeply moved by the gravity of its significance. It's a poignant reminder of the price of liberty and the debt of gratitude we owe to those who have served.

This is truly an amazing experience. Be prepared to walk up hill quit a distance. It's sad that some people can be quiet and show respect to the tomb. Make sure you're at the tomb 10 minutes before they are changing to get a seat on the steps. Bring water and dress appropriately.

A truly moving ceremony. We were humbled to be surrounded by the magnitude of Arlington National Ceremony. The walk up the hill from the visitor's center is easy enough. It states that it is the wheel chair path, but I can not image pushing a chairs up some of the hills. There is a tram that you can ride for a small fee. It includes a narrative tour with stops at the Tomb and JFK's grave. We did the walk and made several stops that are all clearly marked. There are bathrooms at the Tomb and visitors center. Parking is ample and available for a nominal charge. We paid $6 for 2 hours. There is no snack bar or picnicking. It is a cemetery not a public park.

This is an absolute must visit place. A solum placed where we as citizens can pay tribute to those who gave all and a place all world citizens can visit to see how much the US soldier citizens are willing to give in defense of our nation. It is truly a moving place...

You don’t have to buy a ticket… all included with the trip…Superb experience in Arlington cemetery…. The change of guards happens in every 30 minutes… mostly bottom & top of the hour…sometimes you can be lucky enough to witness the change of garlands too…enjoy the silence & show the respect .

Unfortunately, it rained the entire time of our visit, but we stood in the rain to watch the changing of the guard. I would do it again. The soldiers were so professional and precise, and the ceremony was touching. The little museum is also worth spending a little time to see.

Great experience here at Arlington National Cemetery. They have a museum like area at the entrance where you get checked prior to entering and then you can look around and proceed to see the actual Cemetery. Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is the most popular destination and it was worth it. It is sad but definitely worth the experience. Usually it's 3$ to park and free entry to Arlington but we went on Christmas day so it was free to park on that day.

Title: A Moving Tribute to Our Heroes

Visiting the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery was an unforgettable experience. The solemnity and reverence of the changing of the guards left me in awe, standing on hallowed ground where our national heroes rest.

The Arlington Cemetery Shuttle tour made it easy to pay my respects, and this stop was undoubtedly the highlight. The ceremony was somber, powerful, and deeply respectful. It's a reminder of the sacrifices made by those who gave their all for our country.

I encourage others to experience this moving tribute at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It's a profound testament to the pride and honor of our nation. If you have the opportunity, witness this powerful tribute to our heroes.

Traveled there on a St. Louis Honor Flight with my Father, Korean War Veteran. Along with 60 other Vets 2 from WW II, 12 from the Korean War, and 46 Vietnam War.

It was one of, if not, the most, incredible day of my life. Being a Vet myself and seeing the outpouring of support moved me to tears.

Especially the group of high school students asking questions about how old he was when he was drafted. Hearing he was 17 had many identifying with him saying I can't imagine I'm 17 right now, having to leave home and go to another country to even serve in the military let alone be sent off to war there. They were in disbelief and shock.

To see them really listening and hanging on his words was indescribably emotional. It wasn't just a thank you for your service but real questions.

My Dad said he felt like royalty with the treatment he and the other Vets received that day.

If you have a veteran in your family. I urge you to sign them up for this, and if you can volunteer, donate to this cause,do it. It's one so worth your time and money to support it.

To see hundreds of people all donating their time to be everywhere we went to be there for these Vets truly restored my faith in people.

I can't thank you all enough for everything you did for my father and the other Vets. God bless you all!

This is a wonderful demonstration of our military serving with great honor. Upon entering the cemetery you get a feeling of all the sacrifice our men & women have made throughout our history. There are over 400,000 laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery. When you see the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown you are witnessing the dedication and discipline of these few special men & women. It stirs the heart & soul.

Just really quiet, serious and beautifully respectful place to be. 25 minute walk from the visitors center or at to take a tour. You can get off and on at any of the stops all day. Trolley is on about a 20 minute schedule. There is a public bathroom in the basement at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

One of the most significant experiences I’ve encountered. The walk to and from allows you to pray over the thousands of tombstones. The changing of the guard and the changing of the wreath was enough to bring this military momma to tears.

It is a true spiritual experience to visit this place. Get there at the top of the hour to see either The changing of the guard, or the presentation of a wreath by a reverend old veteran. A very Great patriotic experience. A healthy patriotism with all paying their respects without any fiery politics, just a pure love for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we can be free of Nazis and other nightmarish creeps that would have ruled us all. This site is pretty deep in the park, and I would recommend taking the tram if you do not have plenty of time to walk. Make sure you walk around the back where you will see a beautiful amphitheatre made of marble. Pay attention to the sounds of the birds, the patterning of rain, the slow and deliberate movements of the guard as he or she stands through rain or shine. One of these good American heroes has stood guard over these interments ever since 1948, without ceasing. It was free to get into the park. It was easy to park here, and it cost us about $10 to park.

I had just buried my father there 2 days before. So, I took the family around to revisit this hallowed ground that I hadn't seen in many years. It was so beautiful. The grounds were swarming with war vets from Honor Flight from all over the country. I was well surrounded by so many who made the sacrifice. It was magestic, and peaceful. The attendants were so helpful, kind and welcoming. Please be mindful to not be on your phones, taking flash photography and to NOT TALK. The soldiers reserve the right to call you out in front of everyone and loudly. Have respect and reverence for where you are.

Breathtaking and awe-inspiring to say the least. The feeling of walking hallowed and sacred ground does not get lost on you. Very humbling and makes you realize the sacrifices made for our freedom, should never be taken for granted, and all those who are eternally resting in that place of honor, should never be forgotten.
