I’ve been to Gallery Cleaners over 20x and I’m always impressed w my dry cleaning.
The owner treats you like family and I couldn’t be happier with my experience with them. It’s a high quality cleaner at very reasonable pricing

I went to there many times, They did really good everything. Drycleaning, changing new zipper on pants, They cleaned so old hat well. I recommend well.

I've been using Gallery Cleaners exclusively for a few years now and I walk right past two other (more expensive) cleaners to get there. I've had a great experience with both the previous owners and the new owner as of late 2015. I mostly get dress shirts laundered and slacks dry cleaned but I've also had several alterations done and she always gets it just right. I'm a dandy when it comes to the way business attire fits and my expectations are always met or exceeded! I definitely recommend this business.

I feel bad that I am just writing this review as I am just delivering feedback after an exceptional experience. They were able to some stains out of a new white shirt that I had that was custom fit, that I was unable to remove myself. But throughout the course of the last year, they have cleaned, pressed, and tailored my clothing without incident.

I have been taking my clothing to Gallery cleaners for over a year. I used to run a dry cleaner myself and have been impressed with their ability to:
1. Clean my clothing on time, they often ask upfront when I need my clothes ready.
2. When I make a request that is a departure from my normal order (fold clothing, or have it delivered) they have gotten it right. I know this is not an easy task.
3. They staff is friendly, and they do their best to remember me.

Service is great! I am always greeted with a warm welcome when I go in, my fairly large dry cleaning orders are always completed within 1-2 days, and certain services are even complementary (e.g., no charge for sewing buttons back onto dress shirts). Highly recommend!

Gallery Cleaners tailored a few items for me and did a great job! She even rushed the order because I had an upcoming event.

This is by far the most professional and diligent dry cleaning service I ve found in the Northern Virginia area .I give workmanship and and affordability 5 stars.

Came in to slim down some shirts. At first, they gave me options. I chose one and they would take two weeks because they were busy. Came back two weeks later to find out that the shirts were hardly taken in. They went by what they suggested instead of what I asked for. They then tried again after a few more days and the results looked awful.

They told me what I wanted couldn’t be done, so I suggested I just take the shirts to a tailor...then they wanted to try one more thing. That one more thing worked but I had to come in a bunch of times and check every little step. I was finally told they were ready after my shirts had been with them for five weeks at this point. When I came in, they weren’t actually ready so I had to come in for the seventh time only to find out that one of the shirts were too tight although the same thing was done to all shirts of the same size.

They didn’t charge me for the tight shirt but the whole process was a giant waste of time. They only get three stars because of the effort. I won’t be back.

Terrible service. Save your money

“Lost” my dress and blamed me.

I’m not one for writing reviews, but this place is an exception. I had been taking my dry-cleaning here based on the reviews, convenient location, and friendly demeanor from the sisters that run the place. So, when my girlfriend had a small stain on a dress, I immediately offered to take the dress with my dry cleaning to this place to see if they could work some magic. I went back a week later to pick up my dry cleaning and the dress. I gave them my ticket and when they returned the dress, I noticed that the stain was still there. Not a big deal. I showed them the stain and they said to leave it with them and that she would personally try to get the stain out without charge. I thought “Wow, these people are amazing.” I told them I was travelling and would be back in a week and a half for the dress. Since I already handed in my ticket and it was free of charge, I didn’t get a receipt for pickup. I didn’t think anything of it until I came back to pick up the dress. The woman working was not the one I dealt with a week and a half prior but didn’t see that as an issue. After giving my number for lookup on the computer (since I didn’t have a ticket), the woman came back with “there’s nothing in here for that number.” That’s weird. I explained that I didn’t have a ticket and that her sister told me she’d try to get the stain out personally. She then called her sister to figure out what was going on. It was put on speaker, so I could speak to her as well. She explained that she remembers me, and she unfortunately could not get the stain out and that I came to pick up the dress already. I was at a loss. I was not in again to pick up the dress. I explained that was not possible as I was out of town. I decided to go back and check my apartment just in case and searched through everything. Nothing. I went back the next day and fortunately the sister that I originally dealt with was working. I explained that there was no way I picked up the dress and that they have it. She apologized while still arguing that I picked it up but told me that she would search throughout the warehouse that they take all their dry-cleaning to (they apparently do none of the actual dry cleaning there) and to come back in a few days. I came back two days later and still no dress. She again argued that I picked it up and then told me she looked everywhere. I asked for the number and location of the warehouse and she refused. After calling around several places, I found where they take their cleaning and talked to someone there. I drove there to personally search and once the person understood that I was looking for a dress that was lost by this place, they had me leave. This back and forth with the sisters went on for weeks. She eventually settled to pay me half of what the dress was worth. I can confidently say that I will never go here for anything again. The sisters running this place are not to be trusted.

Terrible place and service. Ruined my white shirt with stains that were not there before I sent it in. Refused to refund, and the owner kept talking down to me to, saying its my shirt's fault/ I'm being unreasonable. This whole experience made me feel awful. Please don't go if you don't want to waste your time and money.

I do not recommend this dry cleaner. Their customer service is sub-par. I came in 15 minutes before closing time and the lady acted like I was a total nuisance and said to come back tomorrow because she was trying to close. She made zero effort to help or even hear what I needed. I wouldn't give them my business.

Do not use their alterations services. My dress was ruined. Additionally my dry cleaning was late.
