La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oakland - Hayward

I was officiating a wedding last weekend a long distance from home and chose to spend the night between the rehearsal and ceremony at La Quinta Inn in Hayward. This place is perfect for a business trip. I am an older woman and requested a quiet room on the ground floor with parking close to my room. I got exactly that. The breakfast is wonderful and the eating area was the nicest I've ever enjoyed.
I wish I would have stayed a second night just to enjoy the comfort and pleasant atmosphere of this delightful inn.

Rehan & Agm / Jai by far the best. I stay Monday through Friday for work every week . I've been staying since October 2023. I would always come here. This place is my second home. They are kind , funny and make you feel comfortable. They joke with you and ask you how your day is. Excellent customer service. They go above and beyond. They always remember your name. I would call them Hotel family because that's how they make me feel. This place is clean & the breakfast is amazing . Most importantly they greet you with the biggest smile's ever . The hotel looks great. Rooms are big and nice. Very clean! Good bed! Good water pressure in the shower. Parking is easy and free. We used this hotel to visit San Francisco. Just 30 minutes drive, but you pay not even half of the price you would pay in San Francisco. Personel is super friendly. There was an issue with the room we booked, and it was resolved perfectly by the manager. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Was so nice to get into my room not have to worry about it being dirty it was very comfortable did exactly what I needed to do sleep it was quiet

It's located right off the freeway. There are lots of free parking spaces available. Parking Lot has a 24-hour security guard.

The room was clean and organized. The bed was comfortable, and the restroom was clean. No Keurig coffee maker here. A hair dryer, iron, microwave, and mini firdge are provided.

Breakfast was delicious. Menu changes every single day.

From the moment we walked in the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The hotel is extremely clean. You will always see someone cleaning up. The room was clean, nice, and the air conditioning can get nice and cold! The breakfast was plentiful and having coffee all day is a nice touch. The pool area is well kept! The thing that I really really love how safe I feel there. Especially when you’re going to a new place, this is the place to stay when it comes to safety and connivence for shopping and restaurants. I would 1000% stay here again.

Rooms are really clean, overall the place is clean, security all day and night in the parking lots driving around securing the place 👍🏼 breakfast is really good also. Beds are really comfortable and the location of this hotel is what we loved. So many food places and shopping stores nearby, walking distance.

I stayed here from June 11th-14th and I loved my stay here!

Pros: The area felt very safe! It's within walking distance to a Target, Dollar Tree, and numerous restaurants. The check in process was very simple. The lobby is clean and renovated nicely. Free breakfast that was very delicious and offered many different varieties. They have a pool that we didn't utilize. We left our car parked here throughout the entire stay and felt secure leaving our car here. It wasn't broken into or anything. The rooms are very spacious! We booked a double bed room here and beds were comfy, good amount of pillows, etc. A desk, balcony. Shower water was hot when needed, A/C was strong and powerful. Our rooms were cleaned without us having to ask and stocked with towels!

Cons: The ice machine didn't work on our floor so I went to different floors until I found the working ice machine on the main floor.

I'd definitely stay here again if I could!

I had a very nice experience at this hotel and according to my boyfriend it was cheaper than other hotels with lower quality. It had a larger bathtub than others we've used and the shower had some decent body wash shampoo and conditioner. I definitely would recommend checking this place out. If you are visiting San Francisco I suggest this hotel and just use Bart to get to the peninsula from Eastbay. Don't forget to follow my account for more great ideas on an eventful day in the bay area!

First of all it's in a great location. Plenty of food venues in the area & a Mall.
The hotel staff was great! Check in was quick & easy. I Loved how polite everyone was. Rooms were clean, big, beds comfortable & had a fridge & microwave.
The breakfast was Great!! There was a good variety of hot & cold items. Waffles, eggs, cereal, oatmeal etc...
I left behind items upon check-out & they held them until I could have someone pick them up for me.
Highly recommend staying there.

We stayed 5 nights here. Check-in was fast and professional but not very friendly or informative. Room was large in its class and very clean with A/C. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, Iron and table as well as hair dryer. Pool and hot tub were OK in open area. Breakfast could satisfying every appetite. Egg (boiled and scrambled), sausage and mini beef burgers, waffle maker and other regaler items. See my photos for different days. I had a small problem with laundry that reception helped to fixed it. Room service was daily and excellent. Ice machin in our floor was broken but wasn't a big deal as other one was working well. Parking lot was all around the building and looks patrold by security. There was some restaurants in walking distance and a Target store in 5 min walk.

I CALLED ON WEDNESDAY MORNING NOVEMBER 22-23 AT 2:22am PC TIME AND MALIK HELPED ME WITH MY RESERVATION. HE WAS SO KIND AND PROFESSIONAL. I NEEDED A LAST MINUTE RESERVATION AND HE DIDN’T EVEN CHARGE ME WITH THE $100.00 UP FRONT TO HOLD MY ROOM. THE LAST TIME I MADE A RESERVATION SOMEONE ELSE MADE ME PAY THE $100.00 TO HOLD MY ROOM. GOD BLESS HIM!

Beautiful hotel, with a nice open floor plain when you come in to the front desk.
there's a nice sitting area and like a TV bar lounge with a nice beautiful fireplace.
6am is when breakfast is served in the morning ---unfortunately I don't like your coffee I wish it was better...
There's some elliptical bikes some weights medicine balls in a medium size gym, conference room, and the really nice heated pool (no dogs allowed in that area).
Conveniently located two to shopping malls & gas stations, as well as the freeway access.

The people at the front desk are very nice and helpful with anything needed.
The rooms are clean and well kept .
Breakfast is great i couldn't get feed better if i was home
This is my 6th time back and i stay two weeks at a time the service gets only better,the staff at the front desk are very professional and make you feel as if this hotel is your second home i truly thank everyone there.

Amazing place to stay!
I travel a lot, and I can say- this is one of the best hotel in all USA, and my favorite hotel in San Francisco for sure!!
Always very clean in the room, bedding - top quality , pillows- super comfortable, guys at reception- helpful and friendly.

Staff was very welcoming. Manager Mohammed was awesome he makes sure his guests are well taken care off. Rooms were clean and neat. Breakfast was fresh area was cleaned constantly. Had a great time.

This 5 star is for excellent customer service for Rehan Ahmed as a front desk associate for his outstanding support. Rehan is very humble and disciplined, very helpful in providing the best for the customers. For example, relocate our rooms, we arrived late at our check in, he ensured that we were accommodated for our fur family as well. Great personality as well. Rehan always approached customers for any assistance or help needed. Keep up the excellent work, and I hope the company recognizes what a potential candidate they have and to be proud of Rehan.

I was skeptical of this place but it turns out this is one of the better La Quintas the breakfast was awesome I enjoyed how easy check in was and the fact they have two security guards is good as well.

My stay required me to update my reservation two times. Each time the staff was accommodating. They extended statements of empathy when my husband became ill, inquiring daily on his status and asking how they could help. I felt I had support from them at a difficult time.
