This is a great, hidden gem of quality coffee. I had a pour over that was from an independent roaster that was extremely unique tasting (in a good way!). Service was impeccable with a friendly and efficient barista (maybe owner?). The cafe is small, but worth the chance of not finding a seat. Excellent beans, service, and vibes. Highly recommend.

OMG! My vanilla cappuccino was delicious! Not sure if it was the espresso or the homemade vanilla but I’ll be back for more! 😋

Best coffee shop in Northern Virginia by a mile. Syrups are made in house, staff is friendly, amazing coffee beans. Beautiful latte art. Can’t go wrong with this place. If you are looking for artisan coffee, come to 29th Parallel.

Exquisite specialty coffee shop with a friendly, neighborhood vibe. Delicious snacks available, but it's all about the coffee and people here! Extremely well-curated list; there's something for everyone here, and it's well-sourced/tasty. One of the top coffee shops in Northern Va., yet it remains extremely underrated. Owners are such nice people as well -- friendly, charismatic and they do a great pourover! Stop in and enjoy a cup or two.

Cute little cafe hidden away next to small post office. Burke is full of such hidden gems and this is definitely one of them. They have a limited menu but that just means that each one had their full and undivided attention. Daughter had the chocolate croissant, (she ate the golden top layer before I was able to get the photo!), lavender latte, and I had a bagel with cream cheese and a mocha.

Hands down, one of the best mochas I have ever had! Most mochas are overly sweet with too much chocolate, (and this coming from a lover of chocolate!), this one was not that! The lovely addition enhanced the flavor of the espresso itself! Bringing out other notes of earthy goodness, with a bite of citrus, the mocha was a beautiful drunk and I highly recommend!

Amazing coffee place tucked away in a random strip mall. Super cozy small cafe with cool music. Great local roasters like ceremony and vertex. Excellent baristas and the menu is getting bigger and better each time I visit.

The Pour Over Coffee and bagel was amazing! Vibe is really nice as well. Great place to focus and have a coffee chat.

I also took home one of the coffee bags, couldn’t resist. Don’t need cream or sugar when it tastes this good.

This is a great shop and I recommend it to anyone who is in the area. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the product. The nitro cold brew is on tap and easy to get when you are trying to get in and out quickly. The store has a great vibe and the pictures really add to it. There is seating and you can enjoy the ambiance while drinking coffee if you have time.

Truly delightful local coffee shop! This is a nice quiet spot, perfect for professionals who need to get some work done. Plenty of outlets to plug in a laptop. They feature pour over coffee, and were really helpful when I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to order. It’s nice to have a coffee in a real mug, although they have to go cups as well. Highly recommend, this is the best place for a coffee date or to catch up with a friend!

Great place to visit. Unique collection of coffee along with a soothing ambiance. Highly recommend to try chai latte and "Atlas", a house blend pour over with orange infused cream. Also, the owner of the coffee shop is an amazing and friendly guy!

Superb coffee. Truly exceptional. I just wish they had decaf more often. It’s about 50/50. So if you’re looking for decaf, call ahead before making the trip.

Wonderful mom and pop style coffee shop. They have a handful of unique coffee drinks with in-house made syrups/mixes. If Starbucks is too mass-produced for you, this is the place to go.

When I visited they had 3 rotating roasters that change every week on their pour over menu. The service was fantastic, Amir had great suggestions and you could tell he was passionate about coffee. I'll definitely be back regularly.

Incredible, every drink is made with care and takes amazing. I come here every Saturday before dropping my daughter off at ballet and it’s a highlight. Great espresso drinks and coffee; highly recommend the Atlas or any seasonal variant of it. Be aware that they only do pour-overs versus a batch brew so coffee may take a little longer, but it’s absolutely worth it.

They do well with the shop, and I have been there multiple times. Always a great place to stop and the coffee is always made well.

I already reviewed this on my other account on accident, this is my main reviewing account. But gosh this place was so good! A true classic for coffee, you can't go wrong!! It was very peaceful, they had board games and plugs too.

Staff is terrific. Coffees change every week or two. Fantastic place. Very comfortable!! Highly recommend!! Avocado toast is outstanding.

I visited this cafe today to grab a strong latte to curb a headache before my workout. It was perfect - great latte and before long I was cured! The young man working there was super friendly and knows what he’s doing. Seemed like the many customers there were pleased also. Not normally a java drinker before a workout, but this might be my new pre-workout place. So good. Well done!

29th Parallel Coffee opened up next to the post office behind La Tolteca off Ox Rd./123.

This is absolutely the best coffee you can get in Fairfax County. The owner and baristas are very friendly, talkative (if you want) and extremely knowledgeable about their craft. More importantly, the staff isn't pretentious at all. They're eager to share they're knowledge and learn from you too.

Stop by in the afternoon or on the weekend for a pour over (they take some time, so don't be in a rush) and experience the art of coffee making. If you're in a hurry don't worry, they only let the drip coffee sit for 30 minutes before making a fresh batch. Oh and make sure you try the Nitro Coffee too. It's the best in the county.

29th Parallel offers a true premium coffee experience with comparable or even cheaper prices than international coffee conglomerates. They feature independent, nationally recognized third wave coffee roasters such as Mad Cap (MI), Ceremony (MD), and Passenger (PA) among others.

For everything else that's not straight coffee, they only use fresh, local ingredients. Even the dairy is obtained locally! The ice cream is phenomenal. If you've never had an affogato (vanilla ice cream with a shot of espresso poured over) treat yourself to one at 29th Parallel.

Finally, it truly is the best place to buy a bag of fresh, perfectly roasted coffee carefully selected by the owner.
