Potomac River Running

PR Running is definitely the best running store I’ve been to. All the staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. There are a lot of sneakers to choose from, and the prices are very reasonable. I got help finding the perfect shoe that was comfortable and practical, and was given feedback on my running form after a quick assessment on the treadmill. I will be coming back to Potomac River Running for all of my running shoes, and encourage you to do the same.

Stopped in just to try on some shoes, was helped by Tamika who was so wonderful and incredibly insightful while doing my running assessment. If you’re looking for a new pair of running shoes I’d definitely check them out

Tamika did a great job working with my daughter Juliet. She analyzed her feet and gait and had her run on the treadmill it was very helpful! We got her some great new training shoes and spikes! Thank you Tamika!!

I have bought few pairs of running shoes from this store. The customer service is amazing! They happily exchanged my shoes and tried to find me the right fit. I have referred few people to this store just because they are so helpful and polite. The last time I was at here, Jack helped me find a running shoes. He was super helpful and very professional. Talk about rapidly bringing me into the 21st century of shoe buying. This was great! I learned a whole lot about my feet and my way of walking and running that benefited from a certain type of shoe. Tamika was very knowledgeable not to mention helpful and soon I was out the door with the best fitting pair of running shoes I'd ever owned. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars and I will definitely be back. Store was clean, inviting, very modern and well stocked. You guys impressed the hell out of me. Thank you.

I had a wonderful experience here. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and could not believe the service. The shoe fitting experience was fantastic. While they have a smaller selection of shoes the service provided was unparalleled and the knowledge of the staff was fantastic.

Great local store for running, walking, training sits. Pretty good selection, and i the salespeople have always been attentive and knowledgeable about their products. Their advice has always resulted in great shoes with long wear. I highly recommend PR Running in Burke.

My wife got me a gift card for Potomac river running. I was in need for a supportive running shoes. Mike was super helpful and generous with his time. He answered all of my questions and gave me plenty of options to choose from. I am very happy with the shoes that I got. I highly recommend purchasing from this store.

To a non runner, this store was so helpful in getting my feet wet in running! I signed up for a half marathon recently (very new experience for me) and was encouraged to get a pair of running shoes. Not knowing anything I walked in to the store and within 5 minutes a friendly employee had analyzed my gait and recommended several pairs of running shoes. When I found one that seemed to work she let me know they were actually almost $40 below my budget, and did not try to upsell me at all! All in all I felt very taken care of and will be glad to return for any future running needs.

I needed a new pair of running shoes, and cane across this place while browsing Google. I drove 30 mins from Alexandria, and it was worth the trip. Jack was very helpful in getting a near perfect pair for me. The store has just about everything you could ask for when trying on new running shoes, including a treadmill. The staff are also very knowledgeable and willing to help. Next time I'm looking for gym shoes, I will be coming back.

Adrianna helped me at my most recent visit and was fantastic! Great conversation, made recommendations specific to what I was looking for, and had great patience with me as I was trying on shoes. Hands-down the best shopping experience I’ve ever had with shoes. Not only professional but funny and personable. Really enjoyed the treadmill run and the analysis of my feet. Tried on a few pairs of great shoes and ended up with a wonderful pair!!!!! thank you!!!! Now for the hard part…..running.

We were here and Chloe and Tamika were working today. The store was packed but these gals found a way to make sure that they gave everyone appropriate attention. They have all the tools to set you up in the right set of shoes. Don't overlook this little hidden away store. It's a great running shoe store

This was our second purchase from the Burke store. We went through a thorough evaluation the first time and my wife and I bought Hoka running shoes. After two years we went back and got essentially the same shoes. Great service, great fit and great shoes. So nice to be able to get focused service so that you get what is right for you.

Very helpful store! I wanted to get refitted for shoes after pregnancy & they have excellent customer service! They examined my gait & then pulled all the neutral size 9 shoes they carried. They patiently waited & listened to my thoughts on all the shoes until I found the pair that worked best for me. It was their patience & the fact they truly listened to me that earned them the 5 stars I gave them.
