Vino!

Nice little neighborhood wine shop. Good selection of European imports as well as some lesser known domestics. Lots of French, but they cover all the bases with Spain/Portugal, New Zealand/Australia, South America, etc. I didn't recognize a lot of the California wines, but I tried a cab based on the recommendation of the guy working there and was pleasantly surprised. I also came out with some very reasonably priced Bordeauxs and a really solid Rhone blend for like 15 bucks. I will be back next time in the neighborhood.

What a great shop! I get consistently good guidance and they're always budget conscious, staying within the budget I request, often coming in under.

While the new female employee is very friendly, the male manager is very cold, rude, and dismissive if you have any questions. Perhaps he is only nice to old, white Piedmont people... The manager at the Rockridge location is way friendlier. Otherwise, good selection of wine at fair prices.

Great shop with a solid selection of wine at all price points. But as others mentioned the older male employee/manager is just plain rude and dismissive if you have any questions. Avoid him if you can or just go to the other locations for better service.
