Excellent produce, meats and fish. There cheese department has a wide variety from all over. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

As a fan of Piedmont grocery, I am so happy to see that Uji Time Ice cream is here. The Thai tea ice cream is one of its kind in the bay area.

FYI. Uji time has a retail store on telegraph to sell soft serve ice cream in taiyaki too

Love love love this grocery. Everyone there is always friendly and willing to help you find an item. The meats and deli team will guide you through selecting the right cuts of meat. They have one of the best selections of cheese I have seen in a long while and an international grocery selection that resurrects all of my best childhood memories.

I think their produce can be a bit too expensive, but their meats, crackers, pastas, and other goods are normal prices and everything is great quality.

There's always plenty of staff on hand, lots of check stands open, and never too long of a wait. For it being only a medium sized spot, they have tons of options and lots of high quality foods.

Plus, free parking while you're in the store and plenty of it! So glad this place exists.

Wonderful grocery shopping experience. The last time I was at a grocery store this great I was living out-of-state in Texas and shopping at H.E.B. if that helps anyone. Excellent meat, produce, and dry-goods. I didn't get any dairy items, but that section looked well-stocked and high-quality too. I especially appreciated the wide assortment of bottled sauces, jams, honey, and other less common items. Checkout was fast and the store staff was friendly. I'll definitely be back again.

A small supermarket with several super powers. Piedmont Grocery has an excellent selection of meats, seafood and cheeses. Good produce. A wide selection of good prepared foods. An unusually good selection of wines and liquors and a genuine "local' feel.

I love Piedmont Grocery's Hot Foods selections: the sliced flank steak, salmon, roast lamb, fried & roasted chicken, international and American hot and cold entrees, soups, and the salad bar. Please be careful with the shredded cheeses. I have found mold in them occasionally.
The price for the hot sides should be a little less.
I appreciate your full service meat counter and prime and choice graded meats. More sensibly priced than that huge, gourmet natural foods grocery store.
Additionally, offer a wider selection of desserts. Gourmet cakes, chocolate mousse, puddings, mocha mousse, chocolate chip cookies, and house-made candies like fudges would make your food selections even better!
Peppermint fudge and freshly-made pumpkin cheesecake with whipped cream decoration during the holidays!

Been shppping here since 1974. Chateaubriands are the finest in our area. Lamb outstanding, meat is stellar along with the rest of this little bit of heaven. Wine and spirits 1st class for they have a fine selection. Cheese dept. The two gals have there forever. Helpful. A wide variety of cheese. Iii started when al, pete, Bridget amongst other. If you checked this mkt please do so. Pricy but overall excellent.

Love this grocery store. Produce fresh and moderately priced. International food. Meat and fresh fish. Huge variety. Lots of gluten free food. Owner personally checks care of animals. Salad bar is top nauch. Mary’s chicken. Employees are happy, polite and generally stay until retirement. Delivery available. Small family run store. Feels like family. If they don’t have it they will order it for you. Can’t say enough about this wonderful grocery store. .

Compact neighborhood grocery but still manages to a good assortment of just what one needs. Slightly more expensive than, but ever so much more superior to Safeway. Excellent produce and meat counter. Courteous, quick service from checkers and baggers who will not smash your tomatoes or bread. For those nights one doesn't feel like cooking, there is an excellent salad bar and steam table that I usually find to be better than Whole Foods.

The broad selection, the high quality meat, fresh organics, cheese and dairy products is great. Most are from well known brands, supportive of organics, non GMO, farm to table, includes area farms.

A broad selection of dairy products and quality cheeses. Alcohol and wine section. In store butcher and prepared hot meals reflects this local family grocery with long established tradition of customer service and commitment to excellence.

Fresh vegetables, fruits and organics. Breads from local bakeries. Plenty of parking. You just can't go wrong at Piedmont Grocers always with friendly staff to help with selection and your other needs.

The staff is helpful, and nice. The store is always clean and safe. Great verity of all kinds of things. The produce and meat department is fresh and looks beautiful everytime I am there.

Love this local grocery store. Great pre-made salads. Excellent produce, meat market and cheese counter. Have been buying our Thanksgiving turkey here for 15+ years. They carry Diesel organic which our excellent.

Always a pleasant shopping experience at Piedmont Grocery! The prices are comparable to Safeway and they have a great selection of prepared foods, meats, cheeses, produce and snacks.

The prepared food bar and cheese section have so many delicious offerings that you just can't make a bad choice. And the butcher counter is manned by friendly, knowledgeable staff.

It’s a grocery store with all the staples you need. Excellent wine selection with staff who like to help with food pairings. Fresh produce. Olive bar. Hot food section. A little spendy but the food here is really high quality.

This conveniently located store has a ton of great stuff. Bonus: specialty items like preserved lemons, gourmet chocolates, and cheeses from local creameries! I went for the salad bar and left with a sack full of cheese and chocolate.
