With the movie exodus on Shattuck complete its great to have two theaters in walking distance. This one just got a covid makeover, big comfortable seats with tables for food and drinks. Beer, wine and full kitchen. Would return to see another film.

Just went to the Rialto and caught a great movie. We had beer and popcorn. A mighty fine time.

Watch The Renaissance with my oldest sister. Service was nice and very friendly. Seats are comfortable.

Remember when rocking seats were the new theater tech? The Cerrito Rialto takes you back to those heady days while providing top box office releases on two cozy screens, in-theater dining, bar drinks, a feeling of sophistication, and plenty of retro movie showings of past blockbusters. Bonus for bathrooms just 20 ft outside the screenroom 😀We had a satisfying popcorn family outing here.

Ultimate movie experience. Small theater with a table at all seats. Get a beer and a pizza

That place is cozy and comfort place with wide tables for each seat. And even staffs are kind. The only inconvenient point is parking matter. There is no public parking lot or street parking lot around the theater. So the best way is parking at near shopping mall (very close) and back to this place.

Pizza, beer and movies on the big screen??!

Went to see the Mario movie. I like how clean the theater us. Also it's dine in theater so you can have a full on meal while watching your movie. Also something fun in the architecture that you just don't see in most theaters these days.

Very friendly, and helpful, staff. Being able to order dinner and having it brought to you, in the theatre, to eat while you watch the movie, is a bonus.
I like that, aside from recent, mainstream films, they offer indie, foreign and documentary films.

Lovely theater...I only wish the seats reclined. But other than that it's a classy experience with a great sound system. You can order all types of drinks, spirits, & yummy foods as well.

Best cinema in the region! Have been going here since I was a kid… you can order a meal and drinks while lounging in the sofas and watching a good movie.

Such a cute theater with great customer service. I always enjoy going there! Also they have a student discount on the tickets (tickets are $11 as opposed to $13).

My family and I have been supporting our hometown theater since it opened. Took a break due to a disastrous experience 3 years ago. Gave it another shot to catch John Wick 4. So happy with the experience!

Staff: Attentive, polite, friendly.
Food & Drink: Has always been good. Happy to see Dry Creek on the shelf.
Comfort/cleanliness of seating options:
The “Aging” couches were replaced with theater seating and bar style tables for food and beverages. Clean & comfortable… So glad to see the improvements across the board!

If the show you're looking for is playing at Rialto, they're by far the best theater in the area to watch it. Never mind huge IMAX screens or extremely cramped seating, Rialto provides a cozy local experience in 2 different beautifully restored antique theaters. There's plenty of legroom, you get to sit on couches, there are tables for your food, and the seating is stacked nicely so that your view won't be blocked. Their food is pretty good too, especially their hummus platter, and their hilariously large platter consisting of 1 pound of tater tots and chicken strips. The only drawbacks to the theater are that since it's small, they can't show everything at once, and what they can show doesn't stay as long. However, the movies that they do show always prove to be a fun experience in a much nicer atmosphere than anywhere else!

This place is special, I've been to a good number of the cinemas in the area in the bay area and this is always my first choice. Its small and local, the staff are diligent and the food is good. There's nothing quite like having a beer and burger and watching a new film in a comfy seat.
