Pastime Hardware

This is the largest ACE hardware store I've ever seen. It has the feel of an old fashion hardware store and yet has a wide selection of products. So cool.... great place to wander around looking at things.

Large selection of items. Afee is very diligent and knowledgeable and helped me find the exact part that I was looking for and even offered me advice on where to get custom parts. I am very satisfied with my visit since he helped me find what I was looking for

I love this place. But one of the employees really needs to work on not mansplaining. I just asked if you had something in stock, I don't need a lecture about how it works.

This is our local store. It's rather disappointing that they're not open on Sundays, but with staffing needs we understand it's a great catch-all hardware store and I love browsing through the kitchen accessory section

Hands down the best, most knowledgeable staff and well stocked store. Often if it's not in stock, they will get it for you. Just ask!

Chris Gummery, manager and hardware tech educator extraordinaire, has been a mainstay and incredible asset to the company‘s brand for the 15 years that I have been coming to the store. Not only is he wise, articulate and personable, he is quite funny. Every staff member I have encountered Has been warm, friendly, and informative. This is just a great store!

This has been my absolute favorite hardware store for many years. It's a real hardware store, one where there are people waiting to help you who actually know what they're doing. I have no idea how that is but it is. They have just about everything, prices are reasonable, staff is friendly. What more could you want?

Very informative staff. Though they didn't have what I was looking for, they really helped me to understand what I was looking for more clearly.

They have significant overlap with what you would find at Home Depot or Lowes but also a lot of stuff that those stores don’t carry. I have gotten so that I try Pastimes first because they usually have what I want more often than the big box places with their “wide but shallow” inventory.

Great selection, helpful & knowledgable staff. Sometimes bit more expensive than big box stores but not always and generally higher quality products. Ace Rewards program gives me $5 off a $30 purchase and $20 off a $100 purchase. You also accumulate points on every purchase for another discount and get a $5 off any purchase birthday coupon. Never seen a coupon at a big box home center.

After checking other stores in the area, I was able to locate the item I needed at Pastime Hardware. I ordered it online and received a phone call shortly thereafter that my item was ready for pickup. Once I got to the store, the associate helped me to locate another item that I needed, very quickly. Everything went very smoothly and I saved lots of time on a very busy day. They have a great selection, good prices, and the staff is helpful and knowledge. It's as good today as it was 30 years ago.

I have a thing for this kind of store. Tools, kitchenwear, and more tools! Helpful staff, great location, HUGE parking and a nice selection of home cleaning products. I wish i had a daily reason to visit this place. I mean, i enjoy visiting this store more than a shoe store (and i LOVE shoes).

Love love love this place! All the employees are helpful and gracious, and you actually find someone to help you, they have a good number of people working at all times. ... I suspect the owners of this store take good care of their employees... good pay, etc. because all the employees seem very content working there.... it shows in how well they take care of their customers

I totally love Pastime Ace Hardware! They are always so helpful. Yesterday I came in with a crazy project and in no time Joseph helped me find all the things and answered all my questions and was just so nice. They really have all kinds of useful stuff. Great selection of housewares and key blanks.

This place is great. Enormous for a local hardware store. Lots of home and garden stuff in addition to the traditional hardware mix. If you need help, they have a take-a-number system, like at a deli. I appreciate this because it is orderly.

UPDATE 2021: Unfortunately, Pastime has reduced their hours to only 9am-5pm M-Sat, closed Sunday, presumably due to the pandemic. They used to be open evenings and Sundays, as well. I prefer to patronize the local store if I can get there during business hours, but it's now harder to do that if you have a day job. Hopefully they'll be able to offer Sunday or weeknight hours again someday.

The hardware store of my youth and my advanced age. They ahve pretty much everything you need. Prices are not bad compared with HD and oh my, more likely in stock.

A hardware store that is really well stocked with nearly everything you could want for your home repairs or improvements. What makes Pastime Hardware special is the staff - they are super helpful and all you need to do is walk through the door and grab a number when you need help. In no time flat you'll have a trained staff member helping you find and select your solution to get the job done. This is a great example of how a local business can thrive with great service.

Had exactly what I wanted (1/2" black iron 90 deg threaded elbow), and it was easy to find. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. With a help station, they can lead you to what you want quickly (no flagging down someone who doesn't know what you're asking about).
