Excellent food with plenty of options, there is a few seats avaliable inside and outside but otherwise you have to carry out.
Food was really good!
Was about 14$ for a super wet burrito though so keep that in mind.

This is my childhood go to burrito place. In my head their burritos will always be my favorite, I moved away years ago but I can’t wait to visit again. Staff was always so nice, especially the owner.

I was a little nervous what the Mexican food was gonna be like in Montclair having only lived in Stockton, SD, and Hayward, but this spot is great. Everything I’ve tried here tastes good and the red hot sauce is 🔥. So excited to have a spot like this I can walk to. It’s set up deli style without any seating so takeout only. You can’t call in orders, but the line moves fast.

Food was really good. I got a child size carne asada burrito and couldn't even finish it. Choice of pinto beans, refried beans, or black beans in your food.

This is great tasting authentic Mexican food. I searched high and low for a Mexican food restaurant that had a similar flavor to the restaurant my family used to order from when I lived in San Francisco from when I was 2 years of age on up to 8 years of age. Well years later I stumbled across this restaurant in the Montclaire neighborhood and I ordered a burrito. Once I bit into that burrito I experienced the flavor from my childhood days and I was shocked to find out their family business relocated from SF. I love love love their burritos and the taste takes me on a pleasant journey back in time when I eat their food. I can't wait to bring my mom here to see if she has the same experience.

Best taqueria in the village!

This place has what I am looking for in a taqueria. Fast service, great food, and an extensive salsa bar.

I grew up going here and whenever I am in town I make a point of stopping by at least once. I'm glad to see them in the same place, serving the same delicious options, despite the decades that have gone by. I don't know how COVID has affected this, but the lunch lines can run out the door, with good reason! The food is so delicious!

I like to get a super wet burrito to go, top it off with onions and cilantro from the salsa bar, eat half and save the rest for later.

I have been going to this taqueria since they first opened the one on MacArthur. I love the chili rellano burrito! There food is fresh and delicious, their prices are great and they are locally owned. Highly recommend!!!

Best taqueria in Oakland. Been going for 30 years. Get the al pastor burrito. Hit that salsa bar.

The food is always great, the salsa is bomb, and the shrimp tacos are soooooo good. I love this place.

This place is ALWAYS solid. They've been around for, what, at least nearly two decades, right?? Definitely since I moved to Oakland, and they're always buzzing. Even with a nearly-constant line, they keep it moving very quickly and efficiently. Their food is delicious, like I feel lucky that going to the local tacqueria isn't a compromise, since I've yet to find one that is so consistently awesome. The people running it are really nice, and it seems like it might be a lot of family, too? If so, you can definitely tell from the care that goes into the place. Well-priced (not CHEAP, but almost in that neighborhood!), satisfying, nice atmosphere.

Great food, though a little disorganized. They won't take orders on the phone. I was there about an hour after opening and they still only had a couple of meet options ready to order.

Small place, not a lot of seating, get busy during lunch rush. Food is good, the condiments are free and include, salsa, jalapenos, onion, radishes, ect. Chips are not free.

Staff is very friendly.

They say they do not accept CC under $10, they do for me.

Used to eat here almost every day when I was visiting family in Oakland. One of the best Mexican places I’ve been to as we don’t really have anything that comes close in Canada. I miss all the pickled vegetables that were help yourself. Highly recommend this place.

Always great food and wonderful service. Great selection of salsas and marinated veggies. Prices are very reasonable. Consistent over the last 15 years we've been coming here!

Super solid burrito, has never disappointed over the 15 or so years I have been going there.

One of my all time favorite food joints, A must go. Try the stewed chicken. Its amazing. Customers are so kind and make a mean burrito! Always go wet on that bad boy. Gang Gang!

If you want the greatest burrito in the Bay Area go here! Make sure to order the Super Wet burrito then added your own toppings from the side bar. I moved to Oregon but eat here every trip back to Oakland, so good I dream of this burriro sometimes!

If you are going to get food in Montclair, this is absolutely the place to go. Some of the best Mexican food in Oakland, and that's saying something. We have been coming here for years, and the quality has never waivered. 10/10.
