My Cafe

Loved this place. Took a bit to get coffee and water on a Sunday morning but it was worth it when the food came. I had a crepe (yum), churro pancakes (divine) and the burrito (smothered in gravy). It was delish.

Spacious, inviting diner. Seemed like a large and comfortable enough space to accommodate wheelchair seating as well. They had several versions of French toast to choose from. My friend had the strawberry and I had plain French toast, both really good! Loved that you can make the French toasts a combo (eggs and choice of protein) so that you can have a sweet and savory breakfast :) Also appreciated the patient and friendly servers that didn’t make us feel rushed. We arrived at 10am on a Sunday so there wasn’t a wait which was nice. Had a great time and will definitely come back and share this place with friends and family!

The food was excellent. The strawberry pancake with Nutella and ultimate berry French toast was mind blowing. The veggie sandwich and ultimate omelette was also pretty good.

I might have a new favorite diner in the bay. This place was solid!

Went with the family. Seating is mostly indoor, but they had a few outdoor table options. Seating is on a seat yourself, first come first serve basis. You order and pay upfront, which I like (pro: makes it easier to leave once you're finished, con: you're tipping before you can evaluate your service, unless you have cash.)

Overall, our food choices were delicious (Golden State Crepe, Avocado Toast, Protein Scramble). The service was a little slow, but the server was nice and I could tell he was busy. The vibe was definitely that of a diner and pricing was reasonable (not the cheapest that I've been to, but the food and coffee were better than what I typically frequent).

I'd go back and recommend it to others.

Very clean, great food, reasonable prices, friendly service. Eggs benedict, pancakes, and breakfast potatoes were all delicious. Orange juice really did taste fresh squeezed. Cute diner vibe.

mycafego is definitely my new favorite brunch spot in Newark! I was lucky enough to try some of their new menu items and it did not disappoint. The Monte Cristo along with the crème brûlée French toast was delicious, a must-try! The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly, medium-rare.

🥂Mimosas are served every day! The Passionfruit Guava Mimosa is a must-try! It was perfect with the coconut shrimp and the country-fried steak Benedict. Don’t forget to save room for their fried Oreo’s and ice cream- it’s sinfully delicious!!

Food arrived quickly, warm and tasty with just the right portion for our late Sunday brunch. The variety of teas to select is above average compared to other breakfast spots too.

Wonderful place for breakfast and lunch, 8a-2p seven days a week! Food is very good, combinations are innovative and tasty. For example, the Turkey Jalapeño Scramble is an excellent combination of turkey and eggs, normally bland, both made interesting with the addition of jalapeño pepper. Ordering at the cashier stand upon entry is an innovative way to lessen the impact of the employee shortage. A follow-up shortly after food delivery would be nice instead of at delivery asking if anything else is needed – haven’t had time to figure that out. Good food and convenient location make this a “go-to” for me.

I usually visit it every other weekend with my husband. The food is absolutely amazing. My favourite are the eggs benedict , waffle and French toast. The service is also pretty good.

Nice little diner in Newark. Breakfast & dinner served all day (until 2pm). Nice old school diner vibes and good food.

Consistently high quality food across the menu, lots of interesting choices. Highly recommend the churro waffle - crispy outside with soft inside and a really nice caramel sauce. The loaded breakfast potatoes are good too. Servers are friendly. On the slightly pricier side but not ridiculous.

Still the best place for breakfast/brunch in Newark! Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Our favorite dish remains the chicken fried steak with eggs plus the perfect country potatoes. Other favorites include the crepes and omelette.

The house potatoes instead of the hashbrowns😊. They were really good. Some of the best I've had yet. Crispy, not too greasy. Eggs Benedict is great even though the folded ham was a different touch. Service was prompt, courteous and friendly. Coffee is good too. This place seems highly underrated in my opinion. A small gem in the middle of a concrete jungle. Clean and decor isnt overpowering but keeps you feeling comfy.

This has been my go to place for breakfast for the last couple of months, The food is excellent and the service is great and the atmosphere is such a comfort to be in, I will be happy to come back to keep trying out their menu.

My friends and I chose this place on a whim after changed plans - and we were beyond pleased. The staff was friendly, the menu was extensive, and the food scrumptous! I even took a bite before remembering to snap a pic!

Cozy restaurant we chose for breakfast and we are very glad of our choice. A lot of seating capacity and very friendly staff.
The breakfast menu is very long and has lots of options. We tried California Benedict and they were really good. The pancake was good too. We recommend this place.

After hearing that the food was delicious, albeit overpriced, we decided to give it a shot. Our favorite breakfast/brunch place in SF closed down recently, but we were excited to find that My Cafe offers a country fried steak benedict, my wife's hard-to-find breakfast favorite!

Although the prices aren't on the low end, there's fairly comparable to most good breakfast spots. The food really was quite tasty and the presentation was on-point. Aside from the worn tables/seating, it felt like sitting in a really nice breakfast restaurant. The service was also tip-top, with the staff all super friendly and aware. We will definitely be back!
