Love going to grocery outlet. This location is smaller than some I have been to but still has a great variety of items to sort from. Love scoring great deals on great finds. Can't wait to visit again.

I first came to this store in December 2019. Since that time I have see the staff grow so much it makes me proud to live/shop here.

Well-managed and stocked, friendly folks, and one of the only affordable groceries in the area. Always a fun adventure shopping for needed and unexpected goodies.

Excellent customer service by Garland! I called this branch to ask for German beers. She definitely know what they have in stock. Even sent me a picture of the beer using her own personal phone! So Awesome!
Sadly, she is moving to the West San Jose branch soon. I hope the new owners of Newark branch will have the same awesome customer service as Garland’s. And, of course, sell German beers as well!

I have been shopping here for almost 18 years. I have had the opportunity to get to know the different owners over the years. I have to admit that I actually had a hard time with the last change in hand because Mike and his family were pretty awesome. But Aaron and Faith are amazing beyond belief. I can't believe how much they have grown, expanded and added a lot healthier and fresher looking as well as tasteful verity of food's. The store in my opinion is the first and only one worth shopping at. My heart holds a very special place for them and they have no idea how much myself and family will forever be greatful to them. They took a chance on my husband (who is a ex felon.) & I know that more than a few to many times, I thought they would have no choice but to let him go. & I know it's not easy to find someone as hardworking and so driven to prove that they didn't make the wrong decision in giving a good man a second chance at getting into the world and providing for his family. It's harder for ex felons to get jobs. Mostly alot o wear house jobs are always available but it is not helpful to a person that is not only trying to fight against the odds to make a change in lifestyle and someone who is trying to the kinda of man that his wife,and son can be proud of. I'll never forget that look on our sons and familys faces when my husband walked in and showed us his shirt, smock and apron. Without cause or reason they provided a job as well as the conference to be the best him he could & always will be. Even with all a whole new lookout on life a2a new pep in one's step there are still comes with ups and downs. & I have to say that Aaron and Faith are without any doubts the best things since electricity. I know that its been super hard on them and I'm sorry for all the times that he was late or called in sick or something. If you guys only knew that because of you and your willingness to give someone a chance to work and do what they know isn't something most places are willing to do. You helped save someone's life and my friend!!!! We're forever and alway, greatful to have you in the neighborhood as well as in our household.

If you're someone who's counting money down to the pennies, this is a great first stop to save some money on groceries. I can get about 80% of my grocery needs here mixh cheaper than going to Safeway or Lucky (I save about $30 coming here over those two). It can be a little difficult to find things under dietary restrictions and you have to use your produce quickly, but it's definitely worth it to save that much.

I love Grocery Outlet! They have some qwirkey items and food products, that are hard to find elsewhere. The service is always good, and compared to others. Their prices are great. And the store is always clean, and busy!👍🏻

I love Grocery Outlet, which everyone who knows me, knows, and the newest owner Richard, has really made my Newark go to, an amazing place. Well stocked, tidy, with many special surprises in store with every visit. I never need to shop at another store. There is good produce now, as well as organic, gluten free, and high end items available, along with regular staples people need. I actually like to go grocery shopping! Another nice thing is, the staff seem happy and Rich cares about our community, and really stepped up from the very beginning of the pandemic, to protect us, the shoppers, with a kindness towards people special needs, the elderly, and his employees. I guess I don't need to mention the savings, but yeah, the savings! 😉❤

Some odd items sold but I find that cool. I like shopping here. Meats are fair priced and good Grrreeeaaatt wine and beer selection

I truly enjoy the deals here, I've shopped this chain for more years that I can remember. My advice ck.expiration dates before you buy. But plenty other good stuff. 🧁

Go all the time big store always stock , clean and everyone there has been working for a long time and all very kind and helpful... good place to find good deals and bulk items for less and namebrand for less

Our Newark GOBM has a small market feel. Great for staple items and you'll fine a new gem or two with every visit. Store is clean and staff is friendly.

They cary many health foods that would be three times the price at a health food store or normal supermarket. Inconsistent stock, but well worth it. Plus, the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Found delicious Belgium cookies for a dollar! Beef grass feed 4.99 a pound.

Love the affordable prices for food, it's tough sometimes cause some food I like rotates out of stock. Last time I was there I had like the fastest cashier I've ever met in a grocery store

Staff is friendly and prices are great. I only wish they carry more brand items, I mean, how hard is it to sell good mustard?
