Omg!! I have been patronizing this restaurant for a min. The rice is fresh and taste hella good.Try it 1st!! Please do not use any soy sauce. The chicken was seasoned well and perfectly breaded. Your food literally is fresh out the wok. It took me 20min to get settled at home. My food was still really hot😋Ain't nothing like having a. craving and it hit the spot. Y'all already know, im going back. Just wanted to put ya'll on💯Thank me later😁😋

Good food, tasty, long standing in the community.
However, if you get lemon chicken, get the sauce on the side. They warned me it would be soggy, if it were added; I didn't know... everything else was perfect. I love the vegetable fried rice; remember to ask for brown rice, if you prefer.

Great food & RIDICULOUS portions. Yang Chow rice, salt & pepper dried fried ribs (no fat), garlic noodles & veggie rolls. All very delish! The portions were unbelievable! Very inexpensive!

I am so happy with my shrimp fried rice. It is so delicious and good size for price. I was hungry but now I'm satisfied.

The people who work there are nice and the food is delicious!!! They deserve 10 stars!!! They are still take-out and delivery only, with no dine-in. This place is reasonably priced and my family keeps coming back here time and time again. Delivery is quick and affordable by ordering directly through the restaurant. They prepare the food very fast. Ample street parking is available. Family-owned business. Friendly staff. Very clean and hygienic. No doubt the best place around.

My friends and I ordered takeout. All the dishes we got were delicious and the portions were plentiful. I especially appreciated that the Mongolian beef I ordered featured beef first and foremost -- frequently Mongolian beef dishes are mostly onions and sauce with a few morsels of beef.

The food was great, especially the asparagus beef. The food was also prepared quickly as my family waited and everyone was happy with their food. I've ordered from them 4x and it's been great each time.

I started craving a bunch of Chinese food after I saw a bunch of British tik tokers ordering food. This restaurant doesn’t have “britishized” Chinese food but it definitely fulfilled the craving and won’t break the bank! I def reccommend the fried rice & ofc the honey walnut shrimp!

This restaurant was new to me, craving Chinese, I went to my favorite and it was closed for remodeling which lead me to Yang Chow. I literally walked into Trader Joe's and there was a group of people also entering and I said, I am not from around here but craving Chinese if while we are shopping and you have a local favorite please tell me in passing.. two people suggested.
I ordered a Peaking Duck but no luck for duck, so I ordered salt n peppered ribs, BBQ pork fried rice and Chick Chow Mein. I brought it to my friends house who said it is now their favorite BBQ pork fried rice. I will say this was great and the portions were not skimpy. I am actually going back today

Had a delicious dinner here last Saturday. We ordered spinach in garlic sauce and beef with tomato. Both yummy. Portions large and we took plenty home. Parking can be a little difficult but if you're willing to walk a few minutes, it's not a problem. Great for a bite before a movie at the Grand Lake movie theatre.

I can't say enough about this restaurant!! The food is mouthwatering delicious. We began the meal with their fabulous Fried Rice Soup... Yum, Yum, Yum...it's a must have when you visit. My son had Slippery Shrimp and I had Scallops in an Oyster sauce and both were delectable! In hindsight we should have ordered only one entrée as it was way too much food but oh what fun. I would suggest ordering the soup or appetizer alone and ask the waiter to come back for the rest of your order later as everything arrived at the table together. On the walls of the restaurant are many awards and pictures of celebrities who once visited.

Best Chinese food restaurant I’ve been to in Oakland

One of the best tasting Chinese food experiences I've had. I've been eating here for 10 years. I recommend the salt and pepper fish for you seafood lovers and the crab Rangoon. Every dish I've had is simply delicious! If your looking for fresh tasting vegetables seek no more. Yang chows steamed vegetables are great if you're a vegetarian. Yum!

Love this place small buffet inside on Monday they have egg foo young it's so delicious. My Friend tried the crab here where you pick the crab you want and she said it was not cooked properly because it was slimy. I'm allergic so I steer clear from that stuff now. They have great garlic noodles tho (not apart of the buffet) me and my family used to eat here every Monday

I first came here like 10years ago. It was one of my favorite spots. Cheaper than a lot of the places in the area. Food was always great, server was a older guy who was so nice and sweet. They now have a $8 buffet that's really good. I love coming here and getting the buffet. So worth it. The people are nice and are quick to get you anything you need.

YEP! I was suggested to go there by three strangers at Trader Joe's and they were not wrong! I told my friends and now they go there... winner winner Chow mein, BBQ fried rice and salt n pepper pork dinner!

My absolute favorite place to eat Asian food! Prices have gone up, but it is still reasonable. Great service, fresh veggies and a nice variety. In the beautiful Lakeshore neighborhood, the farmers market on Saturday's and lots of things to explore.
