In the vibrant aisles of this grocery store, I encountered unparalleled customer service and prices that spoke of affordability and value. I love this Trader Joe’s. It can be pretty busy, and although it is in Oakland (which people seem to be so afraid of), I love this location. They ALWAYS keep things, that we are used to having, in stock. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I was walking past, while someone was explaining to an out of towner, the wine section. As a healthcare traveler, I love when I’m assigned in an area that has a Trader Joe’s, and this one me definitely doesn’t disappoint.
And the parking…is the Best!!!
Hey, the bad press on Oakland…it’s over blown. But I guess since I have worked in TX, LA, AL, GA, SC, MD, & DC, I would probably think Oakland’s crime rate is a laugh, because I have definitely worked and lived in places that would put Oakland on the safest place to live based on the things I have seen and experienced, that don’t make the news.

I have always loved Trader Joe's. The people who work there are always very friendly. Even when there's a lot of people in the store you don't have to wait in line very long all the checkers are open. Their prices have not gone up very much since the pandemic. All the food is good and if you don't like it you can return it and get your money back just because you don't like it. This is a wonderful location.

I love this Trader Joe's. They have a large parking area that is helpful. They are still requiring masks to enter, and clean the carts between use.

That staff is friendly. The layout is pretty easy to follow. Best to go earlier to avoid crowds.

I like that some of the favorites are tagged in the frozen food section--which let's people know what customers really like.

My local TJ, always clean and well stocked. I love the seasonal section and fresh flowers! Plenty of parking as long as you don't come at peak hours.

Came by to pick up some groceries. Line to get in wasn't too long. This is a smaller location compared to other places I've been to. There r two lines to pay. The employees were very helpful. In fact, I was already in line and waiting to pay when I stopped a petite male employee with black hair wearing a long sleeve turquoise shirt to ask if they still carried the chilled European chocolate pudding. I already walked through the refrigerated section and didn't see it. He told me to stay in line and he would go get the item for me. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name, but wanted to give a shout out to his boss that he went out of his way to help a customer. He definitely made my day!! Additionally, I noticed a sign outside of the store that there will be a customer appreciation day on 6/21/20 w music, photo booth and giveaways and the store will be closed on July 4, 2020 in observance to Independence Day.

I love trader Joe's. They have the best prices and the food is great. Service excellent. Never have to wait. All he checkstands are always open.

I love this Trader Joe's. They're not the biggest location, but they have very fresh stuff, are super clean, and have very friendly staff (especially on cash!).

Located in the heart of the Grand Lake neighborhood tucked behind a huge Peet's coffee. It shares a parking lot with some other stores and is always busy. But the staff are your usual TJs level friendly and helpful.

Not only is this the closest TJ's to my house, but it's the best one! The store is well organized and the staff are fantastic. It's always busy, but there are lots of registers open to get you in and out. Parking is a bit of an issue, but I always find a spot eventually. This store has it all, best TJ's selection in the East Bay.

Never have to wait in line long. Really quick check out. Vegetarian options are way more affordable than Safeway. The upper parking lot always has spaces available. Great plants too!

A bit crowded but you can always find parking and the staff is sweet.

Wait time was long to get into store. But i appreciated the mask and social distancing requirements while waiting in line and while shopping in the store. Once you get into the store, you can shop and get checked out fairly quickly. Also appreciated the carts being sanitized for the customers. Appreciate the hard work at helping us stay safe while shopping for our necessities. Traders Joe's is one of my favorite places to grocery shop.

Biggest Trader Joe's store I have ever been!
Greater variety of products (at honest prices) than the store I usually shop. Parking is a little challenging since there are many other shops in the area.

Very well-stocked usually, lots of staff around to answer questions, lines moves very fast bc they have tons of cash registers and an express line, and their flowers last a long time. One time they lasted just two days and I complained and they just gave me my money back even though I didn't have a receipt. The parking out front is always super busy, just use the attached structure and get your daily step count up!

I had a great experience here. Very sweet staff and I love how they repackage all of the products they have to look like a more sustainable company. My first time shopping for groceries in the USA was here. 10/10 would recommend. Also the Boba Icecream is weirdly amazing AND addictive
