Great experience! Love the chips and salsa and every food they bring to us! Ver satisfying for a Friday night dinner.

I really enjoyed the fish plate. So much Id probably get this again and not try anything else. The fresh cocoa was the best. Fresh and great service.

This place is a great go-to Mexican restaurant for locals. It's part of a chain with a couple locations but it feels really more like a one-off.
The food is excellent. Service could be better. Atmosphere is a little hectic. Great overall!

Ordered the fajitas as vegan with no cheese or sour cream. Huge serving arrived steaming. Sidewalk dining is it a great atmosphere, it is what it is...

The food is a bit costly but well worth the price. The bartender and the waiters are great individuals they do speak Spanish as well as English the drinks they serve are very good perfect place to go on a date or with friends and family they do have indoor/outdoor seating available

I felt like having good tacos tonight, and on a Sunday night, that can be hard to find. El Agavero’s food and service are excellent. Great menu means you can find what you want (in my case, tacos ala carte). Tacos come with salsa and a side of beans. You choose your filling. They were great. Service was outstanding. You’re left feeling like they care about you and want to get your order correct, including making suggestions that enhance your meal.

Always greeted and sat very quickly. Awesome margaritas on the menu, food. always comes out quick and is good. 10/10 for El Agavero, have eaten here 10+ times and never had a bad experience.

Great food, quick service even on busy nights, open late for montclair area, nice location.

So my wife and I met one of our friends over there for dinner tonight. We're receiving promptly and the server brought us our drinks and our meals quickly. I also love that a server had good recommendations for food. The recommendation was spot on and the food was wonderful. We stayed there for about 3 and 1/2 hours talking and they kept coming back to check on us and make sure we had the drinks and anything else we needed. They never made us feel guilty or weird about staying for so long I left him a good tip and was quite happy with my experience.

Stopped by for a drink at the Small Bar. The restaurant part is large and they were outdoor tables as well. I did not eat this time, but my friend says the food is good and he can never pass up the Carnitas. He has been going for years as his friend owns the restaurant.

They have many tequilas as the name suggest, but I had a Compari spritz. They were making large mugs of Micheladas for many customers.

Bartenders were busy, but they were friendly. Looking forward to going back and eating some thing there one day. Did have some chips and salsa. Salsa was nice and spicy.

This is my first time attending this restaurant and I must say that the food was fantastic! The drinks were made well very well in a staff there is very polite and friendly. The restrooms were clean as well clean restaurant in general. If I had to make one suggestion I would suggest that this restaurant will tell their patrons who smoke to stay away at least 100 yards away from the building or so because me and my guests couldn't sit outside because of the cigarette smoke even though one of the patrons were about I would say about 50 ft away I guess because of the wind. Overall we will be going there again Lord willing because this place has very very good authentic Mexican food! Oh I forgot to mention that the prices are very reasonable as well very reasonable😊

This was my first time here. This place had good food and great service. The waiters were more than ready to assist you with anything you need and fast service. They were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you all very much.

It is a great place, great food and full bar it's all you need.

The food is actually very good and I enjoyed the mint margaritas!
This restaurant is actually quite pricey, other than that, I enjoyed my meal and so did our party.

Vibe is always cool. Food is always good. Sitting at the bar is always a good time.
