Tacos El Gordo

Those were one the best spicy pork tacos I have even had. Despite their neighborhood, this place made one of the very best authentic Mexican food. They were very generous with their meat. The meat was supper juicy and flavorful. The fresh radish, grilled small onion and Jalapeno were my favorite sides for tacos. Their taco sauce were also supper yummy, not too spicy. The chocolate flan were good too. I wish I found this place sooner.

The chorize tacos here are my favorite! Can't go wrong with any of the tacos here, perhaps my favorite taco place in the Bay!

This place was a late night hero for me!! I was in Oakland visiting my cousin and after a late night of dancing I had a crazy appetite but nothing was open! After a quick google maps search of open food I came across this gem. Super friendly staff! I already knew I wanted steak tacos but when I got up to their window and saw the options of pork, grilled chicken or shredded chicken, all kinds of beef cuts and veggie I almost changed my mind. My steak (asada) tacos came with onion cilantro and salsa and I wouldn’t have changed anything about them!

Great selection of standard and tasty mexican fare, straight off the truck. You can order in both english and spanish. I got two asada tacos and they were excellent. Their salsa, though not hot, was tasty too! Their truck looked clean and the staff was friendly. I recommend parking across the street.

I seen mf pouting the inputs on food spots in the bay El Gordos got the best-selling Mexican food in Oakland an if you yk don't mess with Oakland that an that amazing crazy griddle these guys make food you think about for months the smell of there cooking makes your mouth water as you wait for your order.

Excellent tacos, especially the tacos al pastor. So bomb! I don't know how I waited so long to come here and try these tacos. Will definitely be hitting this place up real soon again.

Carnitas tacos were so delish! Meat was tender and tortillas were so flavorful!

One of the best places to get tacos at 2 AM and everything is closed. I prefer the other location by Walmart on Hesperian, but the truck is cool too. I get the super steak tacos, best decision to make at 2 AM

Fantastic taco stop with great meat, tortillas, radishes, and they hold together well.

Food is quite delicious. They open really late relative to the area and it's not too far from the highway. It's a good spot for late night snack. The downside is the neighborhood doesn't feel safe and parking could be hard to find if it's busy.

Great tacos and fresh mexican drinks! All tacos were delicious! A must try in Oakland area!

I have been coming this food truck for last 6 years, never had a burrito or tacos from any other place . Lengua burito is mouth melting yummiest.

Not better than Tacos El Gordo in Las Vegas or Chula Vista but still GOOD AF

Ordered buche and asada tacos for delivery, it was all correct and salsa was on side as specified👍🏼 buche meat was a little on the saltier side but not too bad, asada was my fav out of the two! Tortillas were still intact and not soggy— the habanero salsa is of the creamy kind but still fire, not as hot as some places but I enjoyed it. Plenty of salsas and fixings that were included on my plates! Very much appreciated 💕

I love how late this place stays open. The food is absolutely delicious and it's worth the wait if it's busy.
